I used a gift card for the service, the card had issue, and front-desk deal the situation professionally to not show any concern to customer, and report to his manager for questions, and got answer in a acceptable waiting time. Good job! 2. Massager was good listener to my needs. I told her about my symptoms, and let her made the decision how massage processing. She spent 1 hour, preforming full body massage from my back to my legs. I notes her my right side of body hurts more, and I felt she enhanced her strength after noticing. Good improvement. I stopped her continuing my legs, because one hour massage I felt it doesn't meet my expectation as therapist because I told her and front desk that my body was stressed and pain. She recommended other therapist for the level of the "Deep" I need for my stress level, and she provided how I would like to use rest of the time focusing on my pain point, and took my suggestion switch different techniques toggling around my pain point. Good Job! 3. Massage Envy internal system and management system were the major problem of the entire experience. I was being told from the manager that my gift card was used May 2025 by the person who gifted it to me as a birthday gift, and I ended up to pay full price for it. I didn't have any issue take this payment but why the store manager delivered her manner like mafia or accountant from a very tight company? I think if Massage Envy wanted to provide hotel check in experience please do it all the way to the store INCLUDED store manager. I never saw any Lobby Manager deliver this type of manner for 90 mins service with this type of high end price. Second, WHY Massage Envy allowed their stories selling gift card that can COULD be used from the original account owner? Unfortunately, I've had two separate experiences at this salon that resulted in significant damage to my hair. During my most recent appointment, my hair was left with multiple uneven shades of blonde and highlights that were not applied evenly. Also to mention I have been a loyal ulta client who has had years of notes in system and show pictures of what I'm looking for in my hair appointment. The condition of my hair also worsened significantly, including breakage and noticeable bald spots. I was extremely upset during the appointment, especially because I was reassured that my hair could be taken to the color I wanted. Afterward, I had to travel to North Carolina where I normally go to have a professional color correction done because I was unable to find someone locally who could correct the color quickly and safely. The only reason why I went there is because I'm a college student and live in the area and I have a busy schedule. To travel out to NC, The correction was expensive, and I'm now also having to spend additional money on repair treatments to address the breakage and damage and the balding. Another concern is that this location currently only has one stylist, so I would personally recommend looking at other locations before scheduling an appointment here. If you're considering having your hair lightened, highlighted, or color corrected, I would especially encourage you to do your research and choose a stylist with extensive experience in those services. It's my last year and I plan to go into professional dance so my hair is important to me and now I had to get my hair darkened because of the damage from the Lynchburg va. I also had an uncomfortable experience during my appointment with other customers repeatedly sitting near me and bothering me, which made me feel uneasy. I can only speak to my personal experience, but the environment during my visit was not one where I felt particularly comfortable. No extractions, just a basic face cleaning with a polishing. A bit of a face, neck and shoulder massage but not nearly what I've received with other facials at other spas. A short hand and arm massage as well. No head massage either which I have had with other facials at other locations. The whole time I was getting my facial I could hear the stylists above us talking loudly. The esthetician had nice music playing but periodically a commerical would play ruining the whole feeling of calm. I feel like the esthetician probably had decent training by the way she was applying the cleansers and creams to my face and she was pleasant but with all the facials I've had in my lifetime, this was honestly the worst one.
