I felt uncomfortable about my feet by them asking me a bunch of questions in a rude tone while also trying to have me get gel polish when I decided on regular polish. My service felt rushed (my mani did not come out good) They seemed unsatisfied with my generous tip, considering I am not satisfied with the service I received. I went to take my niece and the service was so rushed she did 3 other people while also helping me AND my niece... I left with my nails like this (mistake) i was so upset and disappointed i had to go back i got there and they said it's because of how tiny my nail beds are. I am already completely aware of that but.. i have had nails done before and they looked nothing like that. they packed on way too much of the acrylic and it looked so short and thick. i ended up just getting them taken off because they just kept getting worse when she tried fixing it. they talked right in front of me in another language and 3 looked at me and one smiled while looking at my nails and denied talking about me in my face!! i felt so uncomfortable!!! read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I should have read these reviews prior to going but went on a friend's recommendation. BIG MISTAKE!!! Every single one of my nails looks horrible. I am so upset I wasted my precious time on this place. Was off so decided to get a gel fill. Everything was fine, tech was fine. He asked how long I wanted them, I said not too long because I type at work. He cut them super short and stubby never showing nor asking if I was ok with length. I was like no big deal. At the end I show him all the mess under the nails, he cleaned them up a little then tells me to wash my hands. I go out in the car to check my nails and they look HORRIBLE. EVERY.SINGLE.ONE. I privately email them pictures. Nobody responded so I called today since was busy yesterday and I spoke to a manager (who refused to give me her name). HORRIBLE service. I was told that they only guarantee the nails for 3 days and I couldn't come Sunday (the only available day I have) to have them fixed. Then I said ok well since I can't come sooner and Sunday is "too late" then I want a refund. And was told no. I would only get a refund if I sat down for them to take my nails off THEN refund me. My friends and I came here on Friday night for pedicures and manicures. The pedicure experience was very nice and once my toes were done it was 7:35 they close at 7:30 they shut off 90% of all the lights off while we were still drying our toes! I get you close at 7:30 but this is beyond rude!!! Please make the people that come feel welcome not like your waiting to kick us out. And my pedicure is a very dull color no shine. Will not be back nor recommend this place. I have gotten my nails done plenty of times and have never had such an unpleasant experience. I have been going to Kim and Henry for over 20 years the last few visits have been horrendous and I will not return . Both visits I have called for an appt I still waited 20 minutes then I had to wait while Kim worked on me and another person at the same time then she pushed me on to another to paint my nails and she did a horrible job. Kim should never have had me come in if it was too busy I am flexible with my visits. I have money left on a gift card I will use on my feet only and then I am finished . I'm so disappointed, traveling out of town and saw this salon. Very beautiful inside but the lady who did my nails did not do it correctly. She painted my nails and also my fingers had paint on it. My nails has little bumps and she said my nails did that and not her. She cut off the bumps and didn't even fixed the paint. This has been one of the WORSE EXPERIENCES I have ever had at a nail salon! First I had an appointment for 6pm, waited until about 7pm for them to start my pedicure. They took two walk ins before me and another 6pm appointment . I also sat in the chair waiting about 30 mins. My pedicure was okay, the gentleman who helped me was very sweet and very nice! NOW - They close at 730p. I was supposed to have a full set done as well. When I sat down come 8pm, the lady first told me to hurry up. I had a phone call come in from my ride because in the pedicure seat I had no service. They were set to pick me up around 8pm since the place closed at 730p. Never thought I'd wait an hour when I had an appointment, let alone sitting in a pedicure seat for about 45minutes for them to start. So now because they took their time, I couldn't answer my phone and let my ride know what's going on? Okay... first problem. The second I sat down she complained she should have left, and wanted to go home, I explained I usually get my nails long. And she told me she wasn't going to do my nails long because she had been working all day and wanted to go home. Then kept complaining because I'm trying to contact my ride about what is going on. She kept saying she's staying late to do my nails and wanted to go home to her kid! EXCUSE ME!? If that was the case maybe someone else should have done them, and she could have went home. No one forced her, or she could have started when I was in the chair like I've had done at many other salons. So instead she disrespected me the entire time she did my nails. I explained I'd opened my store since 830am as well, I am a manager myself and walk to work, then I am on my feel all day in a hot kitchen? I just got out of work and unfortunately had to come here and get them done because I hurt my finger and I don't have time to relax myself either! I have two children myself! I'm a manager for Christ sakes you don't treat customers that way at all. I'm sorry but you sit and do nails all day in a place with AIR CONDITIONING. That was BEYOND rude. Then she wouldn't even let me wash the acrylic powder off my nails before painting my nails! I had to ask if I was even allowed to wash them after my nails were done. The wetbsite stated prices online, then when asked the total, which was OUTRAGEOUS, I demanded to see a price menu which I was never given from the beginning at all. I went online and you'll see below the price menu and my nails she did. She tried to tell me my nails were $70 plus gel $10 which yes, I got gel on my toes, so let's say my nails were $80 dollars!? There's NO WAY these nails are worth $80 DOLLARS! She knew the way she acted she wasn't going to receive a tip so she decided to overcharge me about $20! I will NEVER go here again! I had been a long-time customer here, but now I'm finally done. I have noticed that over time they've become less clean, the services are more rushed, and they don't have a good nail color selection compared to other salons. The owner Henri has always been very rude, but I let that slide because they try to get you in even on busy days. Now they're so rushed that they're compromising people's health. The last straw was the other day when I got a gel manicure and pedicure from a male employee that I have never seen before. He was so rough with my manicure and pedicure that one of my fingers and toes is red, swollen, and likely infected. Never again am I going to put my health in jeopardy there. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. My mom and I have been loyal customers of this nail salon for years. The owners know us. We went in today for our 4:00 appointment and were asked to wait. I should mention, we called ahead and said we were running late, but arrived at 4:02. We saw others being sat who did not have appointments. Whatever, fine. 10 minutes later, we were moved to a room where we were expected to sit and wait in pedicure chairs that hadn't been cleaned. I'm talking DISGUSTING NAIL CLIPPINGS all in the bowl of the chair, not to mention some brown water settled in the bottom of the bowl. I quietly told the owner about the problem and they did NOT apologize and told us to wait longer and they said the plastic covering for the bowl would cover up the nail clippings and brown water. Ew. Another 15 minutes go by and I ask how much longer. I'm told that it's going to be a "little while longer because you were late" at 4:25. We walked out and are NEVER returning. read more

I haven't been to this salon in quite a few years but I figured I'd give it another go. The outside of the building is very deceiving because the salon is actually very spacious. The salon is clean and all the machines/chairs are modern. I had 0 wait time and my nail tech was Was pleasant and prompt. My only complaint was that a mini sander was used during the pedicure. between the sander and the pumice stone it actually caused minor cuts in the arch of the bottom of my foot. I've used the pumice stone for years and go to the nail salon monthly so I'm guessing this was just a fluke thing. If definitely consider visiting again but I'll likely skip that part otherwise everything else was pretty good. read more

He cut my skin in several spots and my toes were burning the rest of the pedicure. I wanted them square and he made each nail a different round shape. And left nail polish on the sides of the nails. Very sad and disappointed. I used to go to another salon but, sadly, they closed due to covid. Thought I would try it here. I Spent 80 bucks on what I thought would be beautiful nails and toes, only to be highly frustrated. I wanted a gel overlay with tips as I have gotten at my other salon in the past. At this place, Henry, apparently the owner, told me I needed acrylic so I trusted him but I later found out he was just scamming me. He was sloppy, left old red polish on my nail beds and sides of nails that showed thru after they were painted. He was rude, abrasive, pushy, and arrogant. He put the tips on, rushed thru the fill process, shaping them and never asked if I was even happy with the shape. There was no attention to detail. He did not soak my nails, did not ask me to wash my hands etc. It was super obvious that he was rushing in order to get as many customers in the salon as possible and this is his stupid method of doing so. He then he passed me along to a girl who did my toes. I wanted a deluxe pedi. She did the regular one but charged me the deluxe price. Worst pedi I've had. Barely a massage. After that, she sloppily painted my nails and the old polish showed thru like I said. I will never be back. I just spent two hours today soaking my disgusting finger nails in acetone cuz they looked so horrible. I needed to remove them. Please read all the reviews on here. Lots of folks are unhappy and never return. Word travels fast. In fact I just spoke to two of my girlfriends that said the same thing about this place. I love this place. In the 3 years that have been coming, I have never had a bad fill. I have acrylic nails and need a fill every 2 weeks. They are fast, efficient and I have never had problems with my nails. I have been to plenty of salons that take an hour to do a fill, or your polish gel polish peels after a couple of days. I was desperately need a nail makeover, due to the distance I couldn't make it to my regular nail place in Quincy. First impression of the shop overall is good. There are so many people working here. There are a few room for facial and waxing. I am not used to go to a big nail salon like this, this one feel like a factory. The chair that I was sitting on was not comfortable as its make for massage operating and I don't like those type of massage chair, because it's hurt my back. The lady who do my nail is ok. My pedi was kind of quick, the massage pressure was not as strong as I expected, it's feel almost she lightly rubbing my leg. She didn't ask what shape I want, and just decided to give me a round shape on the toes. Whatever! The gel manicure was fairly well, but my cuticle was not cut clean. Still have some hang nail. She did not paint to the cuticle so it's look like my nail has grew out for a few days already. I'm not sure if I will come back. I decided to come back because my gel nail ended up chip after 3 days. They also look like a week old because the gap was big from the first day she painted it. I didn't like it. Yet they didn't have the common sense to use the time wisely to do a good job & create loyal customers. I just deducted another star because an owner just messaged me saying my opinion was "baseless." I see where your employees get their attitudes from. The staff here is always very polite, and the shop is always very clean, which is important to me. Henry, the owner, did my nails most recently. I got relatively short acrylics put on, almond shaped, painted Big Apple Red. He did a great job, and I am very pleased with the final result. I've given this salon a few chances and have to say I will never go back. I went for a pedicure today, opted for the "deluxe" as well as 5 extra minutes of massage. The "deluxe" consisted of a 2 second sugar scrub that was instantly washed off and then my massage was non existent, never mind that I paid extra for it! The girl used one hand and basically rubbed the top of my ankle the whole time. Overall the worst pedicure experience I've ever received. Prior to this instance I had gone in for a pedi last year and the girl picked at my toe so badly it got infected. The reviews here aren't totally wrong but I had a good experience and my nails have held up great. It is a typical nail salon - adequate cleanliness and tons of nail stations. I went with 3 friends on a Friday night and we were able to get in right away without appointments. They have a lot of colors but some seemed old/dried up when I opened them to look at the color. The girl who did my nails was very anxious to get me started and kept rushing me to pick a color. I was trying to look up swatches on my phone and she didn't get what I was doing. She did not speak much English which made requesting nail shape pretty hard. She did a very thorough job - took off my old gel, good shape and application, and a nice clean finish. The shape was more square than I wanted but she took her time and I was finished a while after my friends. The salon was decently busy and I wish we could have sat near each other. Instead, two of us were next to each other and my other friend was across the salon with empty chair between us. I saw the girls put their tools in the autoclave and it looked fairly clean. It's not a high end place but it's not high end prices. It's been over a week and I have one small chip. It was $25 for the gel which was pretty cheap. read more

I've come here a few times due to the convenience of the location and it's been hit or miss as far as quality but the past 2 visits have been so bad I won't be back. I went yesterday, early, with no appointment. I told them not to rush I knew I would have to wait. She said 30 minutes and that was fine. It was more than an hour later that she directed me to a seat where I waited another 20 minutes. Still not a huge deal, I went on a Friday morning with no appointment. However, once they started, I had a pedi and fill with gel polish and was out within an hour. It was so rushed and sloppy. I requested the organic pedicure, (I would have gotten a regular but she asked if I wanted it and when I asked if she had time she said staff was coming at 11:30 and 12 so it was fine) she forgot to use one of the cups she prepared and said "oh sorry it's too late" when she noticed. There was no foot massage and the only leg was lightly with the stone while she watched the tv behind her (RIP Tony Bennett). The fill looks terrible. It's lumpy, the nails angle straight up. I requested almond shape with a color French, they are all different shapes, some square, some a weird almost triangle, all uneven. The French tip is jagged and messy. There are clumps of acrylic all around the edges that I'm still peeling / filing off. I was cut twice and there's blood either way under my nail or it's mixed in with top coat because it's not coming off washing my hands. I'm going somewhere else to have them redone less than 24 hours later because they are so bad. read more

They are completely obnoxious. It's obvious that they treat people differently depending on if they like them or not. I am very surprised that this salon has such a low rating. I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. I even went there as a party of 10+ for a wedding and they were very accommodating. I have had my nails done by Mai, Tiffany, and Lily, and many more, and they all do a beautiful job. The shop is very clean and nicely set up. I've personally seen the workers scrub the pedicure baths and was very impressed at how thoroughly it was done. This was the first pedi that I've had in a month or so after having a new baby- so I went for the deluxe package. There was nothing special about it. In fact, the girl cut into the skin on the side of my toe- made me bleed- and didn't even apologize. The massage wasn't at all a massage - it was more of a rubbing lotion on my feet and legs. It was a very quick and rushed pedi where I couldn't relax at all, because I didn't trust the girl alone with my feet! My gel manicure was better than the pedicure. It was a different girl and she did a nice enough job. But the whole time my toe was throbbing- and today I can't even wear slippers! I got a gel manicure and it chipped after 3 days. They're services are overpriced for what you're getting. My friend got dip and it chipped after a week. The nail tech was rushing and literally sweating doing my friends nails. No massage, they barely even groomed my nails or soaked them. The manager wouldn't let me tip on a card and literally scolded his employee right in front of us- v. uncomfortable. I am VERY happy to have found this Nail Salon! Very clean, with 10 pedicure chairs, and 10 nail chairs. They have three other spa rooms, which seem to be for facials and other treatments. The tools and stations are clean and organized, and best of all- wifi!! I can sit on my iPad while getting my pedicure. There is a large TV, and they offer over 50 shellac colors! Yes. Please. It was my daughter's birthday. She wanted acrylics really bad. It was a last minute and due to Covid I didn't expect to get in same day without an appointment. I called and asked if they were able to do 4 full sets - 2 are children. The woman said yes and told me to come whenever. I told her I would be there for 3pm. She agreed. We arrived a few minutes early for the appointment. My daughter & cousin weren't sure of exactly what color they wanted. Neither did I or my cousin. The nail salon staff after 1 minute of looking at colors told us we NEED to use gel and the kids can't have long nails - no one asked for gel or long nails. My daughter finally picked her colors she was instructed to a nail tech. Cool. She was never asked what shape. Length or anything. My daughter had a hard time understanding her due to masks & language Barrier. When my daughter was asked to wash her hands, she came back with wet hands. The lady yelled at her to go dry them. First of all the towels were not in plain site, 2 it was her first time getting her nails done, she was nervous. Just rude. On to my part, since I was rushed I decide to get a French with my ring and index finger with French tip. This lady was talking to someone else the entire time. Again wasn't asked what shape or size. She did them so fast. Never asked me to wash my hands. My cousins, one asked for a marble type nail - they did a pink lightening bolt. The other asked for white nails with a sunflower, she got a yellow thumb and gold nails. Also in the middle of getting my nails done, they're going to ask who's paying? Why ? Then while paying the couldn't understand why we were using separate cards if we came together!? To top it of 2 hours after we get home my daughter has a nail pop off.
