I REALLY wanted to love this place due to the great reviews and it being so close to me. However, the first day me and my daughter got our nails done, my one nail chipped. We went back the next day and they fixed it no problem... however the next day my thumb and index finger chipped and my daughters completely fell off! Her big toe also chipped. We both got gel too. My friend & I treated ourselves to pedicures at this very nice nail salon today. I made the appointments same day, & was able to get the time we wanted. Upon arrival we picked our polish colors while the pedi chairs were draped in protective plastic, on the seat and inside the bowl. Once seated in the chairs,the massage elements were turned on, and the whirlpools were swirling warm water on our feet. We both chose deluxe pedis from the menu provided, and the operators went to get trays with the various creams & scrubs needed- all in individual containers. The implements were taken from sealed packaging as well. Everything was clean and very pleasant, and our technicians were friendly and efficient.We were two of four people getting services, so any fears of being in a crowded space were quickly dispelled. The services(exfoliation, trimming,massage,scrub,hot stones,leg masque,polish) were done professionally and took about an hour. The normal pedi takes about 1/2 hour. We will definitely go back, highly recommend. read more

I was visiting family for weekend from Richmond, VA and needed to find a good nail salon. I read Yelp reviews for 2 days, and was very concerned about most of the salons due to some of the reviews. Beauty Plus Nails and Spa only had 4 available but all were very positive and I figured they were a new business. I arrived just at opening time and was pleasantly greeted by staff. The salon is ultra clean, modern and so tastefully decorated. There color choices are endless, but very organized. I was taken right away to the pedicure area. They use the plastic liners and autoclave all their instruments. They ensured that I was comfortable, had the massage on the chair and asked if the water temperature was good. What I really liked about the pedicure area that I have never seen before is they use very low lighting to keep it a soothing environment and have very small lights that the nail tech can use to see what they are doing on your toes. This is so thoughtful and smart! There was great music playing, very appropriate for relaxing during a pedicure. The tech took his time, I was so glad he didn't seem rushed, you could tell he was trying to do a good, my feet looked great. I had a basic manicure also that was the same delivery of high quality service. I asked last minute about facial waxing and they fit me in immediately. Other staff that arrived to work said hello to me also, this demonstrates their care for the atmosphere they are creating. Every staff member was very friendly and warm. After canceling many times due to an illness I finally made it to Beauty Plus Nails. I'm very very picky but I decided to give Megan a chance. I had seen a review mentioning her and showing a photo of the persons nails. When I got there Megan was running behind and they suggested that I use someone else but I decided to wait for Megan. Boy am I glad I waited. My nails are perfect and she's so nice. They are very reasonably priced too. I'll be back there for sure. I had a hard time scheduling my third appointment and she was not very accommodating with trying to put me in. I almost never review. I have been coming here since they opened. The last few times my pedicures were rushed. Today was the final straw. The technician had AirPods in and was watching a show/movie on her iPhone propped up on the cart next to her while doing my pedicure. During the pedicure she was cutting cuticle too deep and I said "that hurts, please stop". She didn't and ending up cutting my skin open. There is no excuse for a reputable pedicure to draw blood. Let me start off from the beginning. I called to make an appointment, the lady on the phone was SO POLITE!! She got me in during the designated time frame I wanted. I told her what I wanted to get, and she confirmed my appointment. I go in at 3:30. Scheduled appointment time. Megan (Meghan?) sorry if I spelled your name wrong, serviced me. I wanted a soak off because the other nail place I went to put acrylics on my real nails. And I didn't know how many she did. Was 4 weeks since I had my old set on. I wanted to soak off instead of them ripping it off (my old place did that, even when I asked for a soak off) so to be on the careful side I paid the extra money for soak off. I spent a total of two hours in there. Why? Because my nail tech took her time, LISTENED TO WHAT I WANTED. And gave me the extra charges as we went. So I wasn't being overcharged. I definitely would rather spend 2 hours then 40 minutes where my nails are uneven, crooked, and not what I wanted serviced. I got them a little long, coffin shaped and an ombré color on all nails. With the rhinestones on both ring fingers, I spent $75 total. If your looking for a new, reliable nail salon. Go here!!! They are so gentle! Whenever I got acrylics, they'd cut my fingers. No cuts this time. Very gentle and polite. I have officially found my nail spot and I'm proud of it. It's not a big salon. But it's so beautiful inside.
