Got the 90 minute head and facial and it was so worth it. Very calm vibe, the girl knew where to put light pressure and more both in my face, head, shoulders, and neck. I've been to a head spa before when I was a teen. That one was a bit more high end but not as good at this place. I have very thick curly hair which always scares people. (The LA one literally handed me a brush and told me to brush my hair myself) this place she really cleaned my scalp, gently brushed my hair out and even asked how much I want my hair to be dry (which I appreciate so it didn't fuzz up like crazy afterwards). My face feels to soft and clean. My eyes are not puffy anymore. I wasn't expecting for them to even do that much on my chest and shoulders and it felt so nice. They even massaged my hands and one last time on my back and shoulders at the end. Highly recommend. read more

I went in today for a head spa treatment with Lynn, and oh my gosh it was absolutely amazing! I fell asleep at least four times and probably drooled three. That's how relaxing it was. The whole experience was pure heaven soothing scalp massage, calming atmosphere, and Lynn's touch was perfection. I left feeling lighter, refreshed, and completely stress-free. I just went in for a haircut and I specifically told the lady to take two inches off and trim the rest but she basically chopped my hair in half and didn't even do proper job. My right side is longer than left and now I'll have to wait good two months before I can trim and get them to be equal. Worst salon ever for a haircut. I've been coming here for decades and my husband has been coming here for 7 years and we both LOVE Lisa the owner. She's professional and really listens to what her customer wants. When My husband and I use to live in los Feliz we would drive just to get our hair done here. Now that we live so far away we plan our hair cuts on our way to LA. It's totally worth it. My husband refuses to get his hair cut in Northern California because they keep botching it up. He always states how much he misses getting his hair cut with Lisa. It's been almost 3 weeks since I got a hair cut, today was the day to get a cut. I have been pass this place so many times that I never once said lets give it a try . Anyways to make a long story short, I just walk in and ask for a hair cut and the service was great. All the staff was very nice and not once did I feel they where rushing me in and out. The lady cut my hair the way I wanted and she ask me " do you want me to washed your hair " I said sure and she give me a nice washed and massage my head. I feel very relax here and for a moment, it was the best hair cut ever, and Yes I will be back for sure. I asked before sitting down if they could do my hair color like the 3 pictures on bottom the blonde with dark roots. They said yes. I even asked multiple times and shown pictures multiple times and she even had me text her personal phone for the pics for reference. She not only screwed up my hair and didn't even try to do style, she said she did what she thought looked better. AND when I told her I was mad she said I only asked for highlights... UH NO I asked multiple times and shown 3 pictures and she tried to say I didn't ask for that. And she stained my scalp. Then she still charged me $150! For nothing what I wanted and then was like if I dont like it to come back in 2 weeks and she will fix it! I am SO MAD and will be leaving reviews on everything! Lisa was her name I think. read more

This is the best salon in the area! The ladies are wonderful, kind and do a great job on my hair. Lisa and Ming have over 25 years in this salon. They are up to date with current styles and hair color trends. No grass grows under their feet! The salon is open 7 DAYS A WEEK! many times I needed to get in on Sunday and it was no problem. They have comfy chairs for pedicures. They have a private space for massage. It is a full service salon. I bring my disabled brother here for hair cuts. Everyone is so nice to him. Got a haircut here and it was one of the biggest mistakes ever. I honestly feel like I was robbed, the haircut was something a child would do on a Barbie doll. I honestly don't think the woman who cut my hair even knew what she was doing, she kept fumbling with the hair dryer and the hair clips... The round brush she used had blond hair all over it... yet it was in a box labeled "clean". I'm very upset I was dumb enough to walk into this place expecting a decent cut/trim... you definitely get A LOT less than what you pay for... the only thing I can hope for is that I don't get something in my hair... please save yourself the regret and go somewhere else !!! RH Beauty Salon has always been great until a new "owner" took over and they had a poorly trained employee on their hands. Even with the poorly educated employee who ended up mostly sitting all the time because the other workers knew she was bad but couldn't fire her the talent of the other women never lacked. So now since this new "owner" is gone the store itself is back and that lady is gone! Let me tell you once Lisa, Ming, and Sandi took over they got moving and it's back to the way it was when I accidentally found them by desperately wandering around on a Sunday in 2006 trying to find a reasonably priced place to do my hair. These women can work with every type of hair you could imagine. I come in looking like Herman Munster and come out looking like Angelina Jolie (yea I wish) but I digress...they offer many different services from facials to your regular Wash and blow out (they massage your head during the wash process....omfg...feels good), to many more complicated services. I don't ever see myself going anywhere else because you can't beat the prices and the talent. They don't try to sell you crap you don't need and they are efficient. Granted if you come in looking janky they are honest with you and tell you what's up. Don't even bother with the old shop reviews because they are insignificant other than mine and Roxie Ds reviews and it's a whole new place and different environment now. They are organized and all tools for nails are sanitary. You won't regret coming to this salon for your beautifying needs. I'll admit that I cheated and have gone elsewhere but the prices were higher and the I quality was never as good as it is here. They listen to you and if you don't like something even the next day they will fix it. This salon is a hidden gem; emphasis on the gem. I say congrats gals to the new and improved salon! read more

I've been to this salon 3 times & so far the experience has been excellent. I have long, thick, curly hair, so I thought $40 for a shampoo, cut & blow out was a great deal! And the head massage when they shampoo your hair is so nice. Simple, cute, clean place & the staff are friendly & work pretty fast. Both Jenny & Nin did a great job on my haircuts. I liked the way Nin thinned out my hair & cut layers that really made it lay nicely, & she did a nice job with the color too. I will definitely keep coming back, love this place! read more

I needed to find a new salon since the girl I go to is in Long Beach. I stumbled across RH Salon through yelp and gave it a shot. I spoke with Jenny who was super nice and accommodating. I went in for a trim and to layer my hair and I LOVE it!! I'm super picky because most times I ask for layered hair I end up with short layers in the front that sit on my shoulders giving the illusion of a bob and I walk out looking like a sad Connie Chung. Not with Jenny. I love my haircut :) All I have to do is blow dry it in the morning for work and it looks like I styled it. Effortless! read more

I recently received my third haircut in a row from here. (If a business has a returning customer, it means the business is satisfying that customer). Lisa is a natural. I can feel her confidence because she seems very relaxed as she cuts and the scissors and tools seem like extensions of her hands. I have toured several barbershops and salons around Torrance and Redondo seeking that specific cut that I want; I have had great cuts at other places, but they were not consistent (the same cut I asked for looked different the second and third time, from the same barber/stylist!). Lisa has been consistent in giving me that look I asked for the third time in a row. I will be back next month for my fourth. read more

85$ for choppy layers and damaged hair. A six year old knows more about hair then them. They dyed my brown hair darker when I asked for lighter and showed them a picture. When I complained they said their method works on blondes. They also said if I shampoo it will get lighter. When I asked if they could redo it they said it would be 70$ for bleach. They acted like it was impossible to dye brown hair. If you're blonde and want to donate money to people who need hair education you should go here. Just don't let them touch your hair. read more

I am very disappointed with the dye job I received here. I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted, and I would have been happy with something at least very close to it if she couldn't replicate the look. However, my hair now looks nothing like the picture I showed her. The colors that I asked to be applied were supposed to start past my shoulders and go to the ends, as shown in the picture. I asked the stylist if she was capable of doing the style that I showed to her to my hair. She said yes and that it would be 90 dollars. I asked if she was sure because 90 sounded a bit low to me for two colors. I said, "Really? For both colors?" She said yes. Perhaps she was distracted, I don't know. After some brushing, she started applying the bleach to my hair - slightly above my ears! I repeated again to her that I wanted the style in the picture that I showed to her, and she then told me, after beginning on my hair, that it wasn't possible to do that style on my hair because my hair had never been dyed. She said nothing like that before she began to do my hair. I decided to let her finish the dye job that she had started because it was already on my hair. I walked out of the place with dark mustard colored hair with some brown a few inches past my roots. I wanted a kind of strawberry Irish red that blended into bright blond at the bottom of my hair as was displayed in the picture I showed to her throughout the whole session, not the two-toned, past my ears, mustard-colored look that I received. I figured that if I didn't like it, at least I could cut the color off and still have my long, natural brunette hair. Since the dye is around ear level, I can't do that now. I was polite to the stylists there, but I came home furious. I don't want to go back to the same place to have it fixed. If anyone knows of a good hair salon that could help me fix my hair, please let me know. I feel bad even looking in the mirror now. read more

I had an extremely bad experience with this business. They did my face waxing today around 2 o'clock, and my cheek and eyelid is still red, swollen and burning after 7 hours. Moreover, the owner or the manager of the business was very rude. She does not have any work ethics and etiquette; and no skills of how to deal with customer. I could not go to my party because my face was all red and burning. I would give them negative point for everything.
