Can I just say, I walked in and was so unexpectedly surprised at the space organization and prices. The music was peaceful but there is so much room, I thought it was a warehouse. They have costume jewelry braiding hair, clip in and the largest and most well organized hair care section I've ever come across. The staff is incredibly helpful and walked me right to the product I was looking for. And get this...2 of the things were on sale!!!! I can't say no to a good sale. Clean with a lot of options, I was looking for a good beauty supply in the area because sometimes the beauty supplies don't have what you need. I got a really cute hat and some hair for all under $40 + some edge control, they have a lot of the cultural things that you would need to care for your hair as well. Ok they have a new customer in me! If nothing else, the store is immaculate. Everything is in order and makes shopping sense. As most BSs, pay attention to final pricing because it seems as though they key them in by hand at the register. Reason I took off a star is because the cashier almost rang up something 1.49 for 14.99 but i was paying attention. It was an honest mistake, but supports the whole pay attention thing becausr im unsire if it wouldve bren rectified as needed had i left the store before noticing. They were polite and didn't appear to be "overly watchful" but they also have security tags on most items and high dollar things are in locked cases. Overall, I found this to be a good find and will use them for all my needs that I can't find in the mainstream retail stores. Oh, to be fair, I have no idea how their hair pricing matches to other stores because I didn't have a need for hair today. My major impression is how neat, clean and spacious the store is. read more

I had only been in the store 5 mins. I went to counter to purchase wig cap to try on Man at counter Charged me 54 cent for a cap on my credit card - I asked him for the cap. He Hesitated to give me what I purchased He said I can't try it on bcuz its 5 mins to close. Then another lady yelled across the store ITS TO LATE we close in 5 mins. I advised them they were RUDE and They could've had $400 rather than 54cents. NEVER EVER EVER COMING TO THIS STORE AGAIN. THEY WILL NEVER LEARN IF WE KEEP IGNORING THESE REVIEWS. I have been going to this store for several years and in every occasion, no exception, the owner and the personnel have always been friendly and courteous to me and any friend I came in with. The price on the hair products I buy are always lower than Walmart or any other store. I buy curl activator in bulks of 7 to 10 bottles because I live far. DO NOT SHOP HERE!! The sister of the owner is RUDE RUDE RUDE!! The hair that they sell is dry rotted and old! They don't have a good selection of hair or wigs, they are not very knowledgable at all. I purchased a wig from another store because they didn't have what I was looking for, I came to the store to have Carol (Pooh) sew on the wig, when I got to the counter to pay the owners sister says to me very rudely " no you don't buy here you can't get it put on here" I then offered her another $15-$30 to have it done. I was told No! You didn't buy at my store thats to bad!! Now let me make this clear, I understand if that's your rule but 1. It should be posted visible 2. There's no need to be rude about it 3. If you're in a money making business why turn down more money for a service that you actually provide? I had an appointment so I wouldn't have been taking up any one else's time.
