Me and my wife opted for the THC infused pedicure, and it smelled great and was really refreshing, they even use freshly sliced oranges and a sugar scrub on your feet and legs, and it just added a little special touch to the whole thing. They do not rush the process and honestly, I think we were there about an hour. When I walked out the door, the place it felt like my feet were breathing. She is so skilled and always has so many options available for both colors and designs. She is also very sweet and fun to chat with! I really like that I can schedule directly with Alyssa for my appointments instead of just booking a time and getting whoever is available. Lori's doesn't have that assembly line feel that a lot of nail salons have because they're not trying to cram in a bunch of appointments and walk-ins at once, and there's also no up selling pressure because most of their services are included in the price. She was extremely precise & attentive, bc my nails were in really bad shape. The gel-x experience allowed my natural nail beds to completely heal & I had nail growth like never before (never happened like this w acrylics.) I was beyond impressed that the nails even stayed on for 8 weeks. Eddie did my soft gel manicure on my actual real nails that had grown long enough for me to not want extensions. I headed over to Instagram to check out her work and was ready to book my June appointments. -quick back story, I have been a "picker" my whole life , my mom thought I bit my nails but I would just pick the side and rip them off (eek). As I got older I would get acrylics to prevent me from picking them. Well a couple of years ago I had the worst acrylic experience of my life and my nail beds were ruined! It took a couple of years to get them back to "normal" (still a picker!) so the beginning of this year I decided I wanted to finally try and get my natural nails to grow out - found my previous girl, who was pretty far from me but well worth it, but with her distance and multiple price increases since January, it was just not in my budget as I love to be able to give a decent tip as well. So I kindly messaged her and told her how much I would miss her and went on my search and booked with Zu as I like to have my appointments ready every 3 weeks. Well Anxiety hit a week after my last appointment and I pulled off all the gel and picked my nails short (crying face). Since I already booked with Zu for summer frenchies I went back to see if I could edit my appointment but didn't find how and she was already booked for almost the whole month of June so I just left it and waited until my appt yesterday 6/9. At my appointment I was greeted kindly and since she was running a bit behind I interrupted her appt (so sorry!) and asked if I could pay with card or tap. In case I had to run to the bank (I know I should have researched this previously) she took Venmo or Zelle which I have so I sat and waited my turn. Not long after she was done and called me in. Welcomed me, offered a snack (I am a snacker but, anxiety, and I declined). Immediately Zu was very kind started getting conversation, had me choose my colors, let me discuss my short nails situation and showed her a different inspo and she said we can do that instead if I want. She put on a show, that I need to continue watching because I can't wait 3 weeks to find out what happens! Lol Anyway Long Story Short (hehe) she nailed the inspo pic on these tiny nails and I absolutely LOVE them! I cannot wait to continue my journey with her to grow out my nails again and I look forward to staying a client a very long time !
