When I asked Tina if she can fix 3 nails where it was obvious the polish was streaking she said why it doesn't matter because it was on the sides. I'm sorry I work hard for my money and I am paying for a service... the shape was nice but she left them chipped and you can see them a big in the picture at that point I was not comfortable asking her to fix it. Lux Nail Bar has cemented its spot as my new go-to nail salon! I was introduced to Lux through my best friends, who frequently raved about their pedicures, so I decided to give them a try! Since my first visit last year or so, I've visited the salon multiple times and have left each time more than satisfied. My best friend and I booked an appointment same-day and they were so flexible with the availability, which really helped us out. I got a short almond gel-x set with cat eye effects, and my technician, Tammy, did a phenomenal job. She was so efficient and detailed and my nails were exactly how I wanted within half an hour to 45 minutes. Kim was my best friend's technician and her work is also fantastic! She also got a short almond gel-x set done. The service is great, the nails are impeccable, and the price can't be beat. I transferred to Lux as their prices are so much more affordable than most nail places these days. But their affordability doesn't sacrifice quality at all! read more

listen. I kind of dont even want to post a review because i wanna gatekeep my girl. but also, I want her to have business so... I book all my gel x appointments with Hailey. She has great attention to detail and always gets everything right. you know how sometimes with gel x, your nail looks like it is sitting at a 45 degree angle? I have literally never had that problem with her. She always makes them look natural. She goes above and beyond to make sure my cuticles look great and the shape of everything is perfect. I can go up to 5 weeks between appointments without so much as a broken tip. major plus? she does really nice design work and since she is on the younger side, she keeps up really well with trends so explaining what i want is easy! read more

Love this nail salon, the owner Jenny is always so welcoming. My preference is Gel-x and I recommend Hailey. She has perfected her craft and she takes her time to ensure every detail is flawless. This salon is super clean, spacious, and the technicians also use quality products. The pedicures are incredibly relaxing, and I don't mind paying the extra amount for gel polish due to the quality of the products used. I am a licensed technician but I don't always have time to do my own nails. So getting serviced here is something I enjoy doing as apart of my self care routine. I also would like to add that this salon is one of very hygienic salons I have been to in the area, they clearly sanitize their tools after each use and they use brand new nail files and buffers as they should. Prices are reasonable and comparable to most in this area. My nails and pedicure last 4-6 weeks but I try to go every 3 weeks to switch up the color. Came in for a pedicure and a lady did a very great job. HOWEVER... she didn't explain about the color I chose being a gel color so I got charged $13 more for something I didn't want. I personally don't like gel for pedi because I can't take it off myself. I did see the UV light thing but I don't come to nail salons often enough to know if that was going to be a gel. Also the menu on the wall said additional gel $10 not $13. It's sad because the lady did a great job. just unclear about their pricing. read more

If i could rate this place a 0 i would. Off the bat, everything seems fine. I'm waiting and after 15 minutes i can get my nails done. The wait time is average espc since they were booked. I play a sport, so i can't get acrylic nor gel x. So i tell the lady, Lynn, that i just want regular polish and gel. I started off with wanting french tips but I play a sport so my nails can't be too long. After she hears that i'm not getting gel-x, she starts shit talking me to the lady next to her, and she's going really rough on me. She's obviously very annoyed, and her tone makes it sound like i'm the one in the wrong. I didn't know that not getting gel-x to please the person who signed up to do your nails is a crime! She's rushing through my nails and honestly hurting my cuticles a lot. As i'm typing this they're bleeding. My mom is getting a pedicure and i honestly decide to get one last minute. She does my nails again and keeps insisting on gel! I'm honestly scared because my feet are precious to me! The vibe here is so off and the nail artists are super judgy. They literally want to make the choices for you!!! Like girl make it makI am going to stick to my at home !!!IINDEPENDENT!!! Nail artist who doesn't make me feel like shit for not spending $100. Prior to coming to Lux Nail Bar, I got my nails done at another nail salon that did not give me what I wanted. Before, I had nails that were trimmed way shorter than I asked, my cuticles were not cleaned up, and I got the wrong color dip powder on my nails that I did not ask for (neon blue) and tried covering it up with another gel color (metallic silver). I decided to do a walk-in at Lux Nail bar after the first nail salon desperate to get my nails fixed and they welcomed me and helped me to a seat very quickly. I told the nail techs at Lux Nail Bar that I wanted a simple French tip and it came out way nicer than I thought. It's been almost two months now and my nails have not lifted. read more

Brought my daughter in to get her nails done for her birthday. Before they started I showed them a design and asked if it was doable on her small nails, they said it was fine. Literally the only design is just a smiley face. One of the ladies scoffed and made me feel stupid for even trying to get a design on my daughter's nail. When I was getting my nails I slightly leaned over because the lady asked me if my daughters nails were ok and the lady doing my nails very rudely scolded me for moving-- she was just filing my nails, not cleaning, cutting, or putting the designs on. She scoffed again and said something under her breath. She couldn't even do a simple design for me (see pics below), at the end she asked me.. can we just do one line?? Lol. I always tip no matter, but I've never had service as bad as this before. Ever! read more

What a strange place, the people that work there are so intense. While i was getting my nails done a very unhappy customer came in yelling about her nails breaking. Anyway stayed and Got a fill on Saturday and by Wednesday my nails started breaking. I should of got a hint and ran. I do not recommend this place at all. My preference in nails are subtle, soft, classy nails where I switch up between regular, gelx, gel, & dip manicures depending on the health of my nails. So far this place has delivered just what I'm looking for. Not too pushy with their service however have recommendations on what one should do base on the health of your nails. If you're looking for designs, they are just as good. Pays attention to details and is always considerate if you like the progress of your nails through each step. Highly recommend this place! My only concern is the sanitation process between each client and their materials. I don't see a lot of sanitation products or new supplies used between each client. read more

They don't have set prices it's really just how they are feeling or how business is going sometimes I pay 100 for French tip man and pedi other days I walk out paying 140 for the same crap. got gel x with pastel yellow french tip and it came out cute. however, they charge to do your cuticles apparently??? that should be included in the overall cost and shouldn't be a whole extra cost because the woman who did my nails didn't do some special kind of treatment. also, my friend and i got our nails done about a day apart and got the same exact thing and about a week later our nails are chipping. definitely won't be coming back. they have great potential but it's just not the best. read more

I decided to come here to check the quality of service and see if this was a place I wouldn't mind becoming a regular to for pedicures. However the reason I rated this a 2 star is for their payment services. The signs states cash payments are appreciated assuming that it is optional and that if a customer wants to then the salon has an atm that can be utilized. My sister aren't to go pay and my sister provided her with her card to pay. However the lady told her no please use the atm. My sister wanted to use the card and the lady still insisted to use the atm and even pointed at the machine. At this point I realized the nail lady is not providing customers the option to pay by card but strongly insisting for using the ATM. The door states they accept card. I don't want to become a regular to a place that makes thier customers feel pushed or forced to choose when a business is stating that they provide payment options. For the Quality of service,here isn't worth becoming a regular here. (My opinion) especially when you have nice soft spoken people who just want a pedicure and pay the way they want to. read more

**Terrible Experience, Horrible Service, and Disrespectful Staff** I honestly don't know where to even begin with how awful my experience was at this nail salon. From start to finish, it was nothing short of a nightmare. The staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. . When I was seated, the technician seemed completely uninterested in providing any kind of decent service. Not only was she rude, but she also rushed through the whole process, leaving my nails looking worse than when I came in. To make matters worse, when I politely asked her to fix a mistake, she rolled her eyes and muttered under her breath. Seriously? I didn't expect to be treated like this, especially at a place that claims to be a "luxury" salon. The attitude was just disgusting--no apology, no effort to correct her mistakes. On top of all that, the environment felt tense and uncomfortable. The staff seemed to be more interested in chatting with each other than actually paying attention to their clients. It's clear that customer service is not a priority here. I expressed my concerns and they only got angry at me ? I paid 60$ for a MANICURE I should atleast be able get what I want . To top it off I called the next day to change the color I did not like because of how rushed it was and the manager told me to come in 15 min before they close only because I am sure she didn't want anyone to know And she had the audacity to say she said that time only because im "picky". Save your money and time. I will never return, and I highly suggest you look elsewhere for a more professional and respectful experience. read more

Came here to get short almond gel x nails with a French tip design for my wedding nails. I showed inspo pics and requested that the white not be super stark white compared to the pink. My nail tech started off with a thicker French tip to cover the natural nail peeking out under the gel tip. However that did not fit my vision so I asked for a thinner tip. She did mention that you would be able to see the natural nail under the tip and I said it was ok. I realized after I got home that the pink base coat was essentially clear and the natural nail showed in an obvious way in photos even though I thought it looked ok in person. I did not bring this up to the salon because I figured I just chose the wrong design and decided to just go somewhere else to just get a solid color all over. While getting my polish changed at the other salon, the nail tech noticed that my cuticles were completely covered in gel and had to take an extra 10-15 mins just drilling all the gel off my cuticles otherwise it wouldn't have grown out smoothly. She also fixed the nail shape because it was super pointy for almond in my opinion. My reason for my rating is because gel is not good to constantly get on skin. I did notice my original tech at moongirlnails used a brush to wipe off the gel after each tip application which I didn't love since other places I've been to have known how much gel to apply to avoid overflow. Using excess glue and going back to clean up is not good technique in my opinion. And seeing that the excess was not even fully wiped off and left on my cuticles, I cannot in good faith recommend this salon if you want to avoid developing a gel allergy.

I would give this place a -5 star if I could. This place just looks expensive and every lady in there just make up ridiculous prices for services that suck. I came in to get my old nails removed. I asked them to also cut cuticles. The lady did a terrible job taking off my nails. There wasn't enough acetone applied because they wanted to expand the time it took to take off my nails. After I told her MULTIPLE times that my index and middle nails were hurting bc I hit those fingers on a door, she continues to attempt to pry my painful tips off. Then this woman used her nail to split the tip and my real nail. Her nail slipped and it felt like I was cut under my nail. I yelled and pulled back my hand. She even made a noise with her mouth as if she was hurt. I pretend I'm not Vietnamese when I come here just to hear them talk shit. After all this pain and time wasted my nails were left brittle. Then I asked how much I owe her. She had the audacity to say 19$ for the service! Hahahahaha they knew for sure I was never coming back so they decide to rob me for service that wasn't even worth 19$. I don't care about 19$ but to take off my nails and cut my cuticles? I don't think so. Poor job and taxed prices. I gave her a dollar tip because I felt bad for these sad ass nail techs that should have their license taken away. DO NOT COME HERE!!! read more

This is my go-to spot to get my nails done! I'm very picky about how I want my nails done but my nail tech is very patient with me and always makes sure that my nails come out beautifully!!! I came here to get them done for my birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and now Valentine's. I've never once been disappointed in the work they put in. It's really nice inside.
