Since my first visit last year or so, I've visited the salon multiple times and have left each time more than satisfied. My best friend and I booked an appointment same-day and they were so flexible with the availability, which really helped us out. I got a short almond gel-x set with cat eye effects, and my technician, Tammy, did a phenomenal job. She was so efficient and detailed and my nails were exactly how I wanted within half an hour to 45 minutes. Kim was my best friend's technician and her work is also fantastic! listen. I kind of dont even want to post a review because i wanna gatekeep my girl. but also, I want her to have business so... I book all my gel x appointments with Hailey. She has great attention to detail and always gets everything right. you know how sometimes with gel x, your nail looks like it is sitting at a 45 degree angle? I have literally never had that problem with her. She always makes them look natural. She goes above and beyond to make sure my cuticles look great and the shape of everything is perfect. I can go up to 5 weeks between appointments without so much as a broken tip. major plus? she does really nice design work and since she is on the younger side, she keeps up really well with trends so explaining what i want is easy! read more

Love this nail salon, the owner Jenny is always so welcoming. My preference is Gel-x and I recommend Hailey. She has perfected her craft and she takes her time to ensure every detail is flawless. This salon is super clean, spacious, and the technicians also use quality products. The pedicures are incredibly relaxing, and I don't mind paying the extra amount for gel polish due to the quality of the products used. I am a licensed technician but I don't always have time to do my own nails. So getting serviced here is something I enjoy doing as apart of my self care routine. I also would like to add that this salon is one of very hygienic salons I have been to in the area, they clearly sanitize their tools after each use and they use brand new nail files and buffers as they should. Prices are reasonable and comparable to most in this area. My nails and pedicure last 4-6 weeks but I try to go every 3 weeks to switch up the color. If i could rate this place a 0 i would. Off the bat, everything seems fine. I'm waiting and after 15 minutes i can get my nails done. The wait time is average espc since they were booked. I play a sport, so i can't get acrylic nor gel x. So i tell the lady, Lynn, that i just want regular polish and gel. I started off with wanting french tips but I play a sport so my nails can't be too long. After she hears that i'm not getting gel-x, she starts shit talking me to the lady next to her, and she's going really rough on me. She's obviously very annoyed, and her tone makes it sound like i'm the one in the wrong. I didn't know that not getting gel-x to please the person who signed up to do your nails is a crime! She's rushing through my nails and honestly hurting my cuticles a lot. As i'm typing this they're bleeding. My mom is getting a pedicure and i honestly decide to get one last minute. She does my nails again and keeps insisting on gel! I'm honestly scared because my feet are precious to me! The vibe here is so off and the nail artists are super judgy. Came in for a pedicure and a lady did a very great job. HOWEVER... she didn't explain about the color I chose being a gel color so I got charged $13 more for something I didn't want. I personally don't like gel for pedi because I can't take it off myself. I did see the UV light thing but I don't come to nail salons often enough to know if that was going to be a gel. Prior to coming to Lux Nail Bar, I got my nails done at another nail salon that did not give me what I wanted. Before, I had nails that were trimmed way shorter than I asked, my cuticles were not cleaned up, and I got the wrong color dip powder on my nails that I did not ask for (neon blue) and tried covering it up with another gel color (metallic silver). I decided to do a walk-in at Lux Nail bar after the first nail salon desperate to get my nails fixed and they welcomed me and helped me to a seat very quickly. Brought my daughter in to get her nails done for her birthday. Before they started I showed them a design and asked if it was doable on her small nails, they said it was fine. Literally the only design is just a smiley face. One of the ladies scoffed and made me feel stupid for even trying to get a design on my daughter's nail. When I was getting my nails I slightly leaned over because the lady asked me if my daughters nails were ok and the lady doing my nails very rudely scolded me for moving-- she was just filing my nails, not cleaning, cutting, or putting the designs on. She scoffed again and said something under her breath. She couldn't even do a simple design for me (see pics below), at the end she asked me.. can we just do one line?? Lol. **Terrible Experience, Horrible Service, and Disrespectful Staff** I honestly don't know where to even begin with how awful my experience was at this nail salon. From start to finish, it was nothing short of a nightmare. The staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. . When I was seated, the technician seemed completely uninterested in providing any kind of decent service. Not only was she rude, but she also rushed through the whole process, leaving my nails looking worse than when I came in. To make matters worse, when I politely asked her to fix a mistake, she rolled her eyes and muttered under her breath. Seriously? I didn't expect to be treated like this, especially at a place that claims to be a "luxury" salon. The attitude was just disgusting--no apology, no effort to correct her mistakes. On top of all that, the environment felt tense and uncomfortable. The staff seemed to be more interested in chatting with each other than actually paying attention to their clients. It's clear that customer service is not a priority here. I expressed my concerns and they only got angry at me ? I paid 60$ for a MANICURE I should atleast be able get what I want . To top it off I called the next day to change the color I did not like because of how rushed it was and the manager told me to come in 15 min before they close only because I am sure she didn't want anyone to know And she had the audacity to say she said that time only because im "picky". My preference in nails are subtle, soft, classy nails where I switch up between regular, gelx, gel, & dip manicures depending on the health of my nails. So far this place has delivered just what I'm looking for. Not too pushy with their service however have recommendations on what one should do base on the health of your nails. If you're looking for designs, they are just as good. Pays attention to details and is always considerate if you like the progress of your nails through each step. Highly recommend this place! My only concern is the sanitation process between each client and their materials. I don't see a lot of sanitation products or new supplies used between each client. read more

I decided to come here to check the quality of service and see if this was a place I wouldn't mind becoming a regular to for pedicures. However the reason I rated this a 2 star is for their payment services. The signs states cash payments are appreciated assuming that it is optional and that if a customer wants to then the salon has an atm that can be utilized. My sister aren't to go pay and my sister provided her with her card to pay. However the lady told her no please use the atm. My sister wanted to use the card and the lady still insisted to use the atm and even pointed at the machine. At this point I realized the nail lady is not providing customers the option to pay by card but strongly insisting for using the ATM. The door states they accept card. I don't want to become a regular to a place that makes thier customers feel pushed or forced to choose when a business is stating that they provide payment options. For the Quality of service,here isn't worth becoming a regular here. (My opinion) especially when you have nice soft spoken people who just want a pedicure and pay the way they want to. read more
