TOTAL $55. Never coming here again... don't waste your time. Came excited for my first pedi in 2 months, left absolutely disappointed and irritated for sitting in a chair for two whole hours.

Came here to get short almond gel x nails with a French tip design for my wedding nails. I showed inspo pics and requested that the white not be super stark white compared to the pink. My nail tech started off with a thicker French tip to cover the natural nail peeking out under the gel tip. However that did not fit my vision so I asked for a thinner tip. She did mention that you would be able to see the natural nail under the tip and I said it was ok. I realized after I got home that the pink base coat was essentially clear and the natural nail showed in an obvious way in photos even though I thought it looked ok in person. I did not bring this up to the salon because I figured I just chose the wrong design and decided to just go somewhere else to just get a solid color all over. While getting my polish changed at the other salon, the nail tech noticed that my cuticles were completely covered in gel and had to take an extra 10-15 mins just drilling all the gel off my cuticles otherwise it wouldn't have grown out smoothly. She also fixed the nail shape because it was super pointy for almond in my opinion. My reason for my rating is because gel is not good to constantly get on skin. I did notice my original tech at moongirlnails used a brush to wipe off the gel after each tip application which I didn't love since other places I've been to have known how much gel to apply to avoid overflow. Using excess glue and going back to clean up is not good technique in my opinion. And seeing that the excess was not even fully wiped off and left on my cuticles, I cannot in good faith recommend this salon if you want to avoid developing a gel allergy.

Only one nail naturally fell off (leaving an extremely healthy nail behind) at the very end of December. Came here right before NYE & got a soft gel manicure on my REAL nails for the first time in years...!!!!!!! Michelle did my gel-x manicure in Nov. She was extremely precise & attentive, bc my nails were in really bad shape. The gel-x experience allowed my natural nail beds to completely heal & I had nail growth like never before (never happened like this w acrylics.) I was beyond impressed that the nails even stayed on for 8 weeks. Eddie did my soft gel manicure on my actual real nails that had grown long enough for me to not want extensions. My nails are finally healthy!!! I adore having super long nails, but I want to see how long my natural nails can grow & whether they'll be strong. This is so exciting for me! He is very knowledgeable of the nail industry & we laughed about the horrors of press-on nails. Never again. He also let me choose the show on the tv via streaming services, so I just chilled & watched one of my favourite tv shows :) The pedicure was done by Cindy, who was a great masseuse as well! I chose a playful pink for my toes & a more muted soft pink for my nails. Eddie asked if it was okay that the colour had shimmer & I said of course! But it's this attention to detail that makes this place so elegant and of high quality. The massage chairs are so comfortable, & I'm writing this from the also comfortable "waiting area" chairs while my mother gets a French soft gel short manicure! I have converted her to That Nail Spa :) Beautiful & tranquil atmosphere. Definitely coming back...!!!
