She is extremely professional, gives you exactly what you want (even thought you might not even know yourself) and she has an awesome personality! I felt so comfortable talking to her and I think that's so important when you're trying to communicate what kind of style you're looking for. She not only did my make-up, but she also did my bridesmaids, mother and mother-in-law. Now let me tell you this, my mother-in-law means well but she is very outspoken and picky about EVERYTHING but she was very pleased with how she looked and was so happy that everyone was complimenting her (lol). My wedding coordinator referred me to Ana Bazan who heads up BeautyMark Agency, and I'm eternally grateful for the recommendation. I had done copious amounts of research on local wedding hair and makeup folks and was struggling to find someone who was good, would travel to you on the day-of, was reasonably priced, and was able to coordinate hair and makeup. Ana is a very talented makeup artist who is so personable and warm. We met for a consultation and two makeup trials before the big day. She was interested in my feedback and focused on making my wedding look come together just as I had envisioned. She used high-quality product lines, which was especially important for me because I have sensitive skin. She didn't charge for the trial runs either! My wedding day look exceeded my expectations, playing up my best features and making me feel like the most glamorous version of myself, yet still natural. Not sure how she managed that, but color me impressed! Admittedly, she was slow to respond to a few emails and forgot my day-of touch-up kit, but came through for me in so many ways that neither ultimately bothered me. (She ended up sending me off to the wedding with two lipglosses and blotting powder from her makeup case!) Ana also put me in touch with Courtney Campbell who is super-laid back and easy to be around. She is also ridiculously talented when it comes to non-cheesy wedding hair. I had two hair trials because I ended up changing my look based on a late-in-the-game switcheroo of my wedding attire, and she managed to nail the original half up/half down hairstyle as well as the final updo perfectly both times. For awhile I struggled with finding hair and makeup that would travel onsite without having to charge an extra 20% or have a minimum of 10 services! Given I had a small bridal party, I was in search for onsite hair and makeup services that were relatively affordable with experienced MUAs and hairstylists, which is exactly what Beauty Mark had to offer. Ana, the owner, was quick at responding when I first sent in an inquiry about availability, and when I signed my contract. She has 3 makeup artists, including herself, and 1 hairstylist. I didn't know which MUA I was going to end up with, so if you want someone specific, then be sure to ask. Angie was my MUA for my wedding and she was awesome to work with! She is outgoing and hilarious, which makes it fun. I had a trial run at Ana's house and she looked through my Pinterest pictures with me, created the look I wanted, and took notes that she referenced on the day of the wedding. There was terrible traffic the entire weekend of my wedding and she ran a little late arriving, but was still able to get everyone done in time. Courtney, the hairstylist, is incredibly talented. She used a crazy sewing technique to secure my updo (but you couldn't tell) and I got several compliments about my hair! On the day of the wedding, she had an assistant to do the initial preparation of curling for everyone and Courtney executed all of the updos. At times I had some trouble getting in contact with Ana, which made me nervous not to hear back from your vendor, naturally! But it all worked out great in the end and I would definitely recommend Beauty Mark Agency to make you look gorgeous on your big day. read more

I hired Ana and the amazing women from Beauty Mark to do my hair and make up for myself and my entire wedding party! Not only was Ana extremely flexible with schedule changes, I decided last minute (the week of my wedding) to get hair and make up done for my rehearsal, she is very responsive and communicative, and best of all she is EXTREMELY talented and has the best staff alongside her! Jessica works with her for scheduling and invoicing. Faith did my flawless make up for my rehearsal. Courtney, Angie, Lisa, and Leah, were the four stylists for my wedding party. Not only did these ladies work 6 hours straight without stopping to eat.....we tried, but they were so focused and determined to get the job done they worked straight through. Ana Bazan, the founder of Beauty Mark Agency, did my make up for my wedding and she was awesome! I found Ana Bazan and Beauty Mark Agency through my wedding planner. As soon as I met Ana, I felt comfortable. She was not only very knowledgable, she asked me about my preferences and I really felt like she was listening to me. I had some worries about airbrushing, but she explained to me the difference between air brushing and normal makeup and assured me that if I did not like the airbrushing, we could also go the other way. I also felt that when we did the trial, if there was something that I did not like or wanted differently, she would listen and not be offended. I was completely correct! During the trial, we tried different things until we got the right look and through it all, she was very patient. I ended up loving the airbrushing and I felt gorgeous on my wedding day! She also did the makeup for all of my bridesmaids, one of which had not committed to getting her makeup done, but once she saw Ana's work with the other girls, asked to have it done as well.
