What I left with was a nightmare--my hair chopped drastically short, front above my jawline, sides straight, and nothing like the photos. When I pointed this out, she casually said it would "look like the pictures in 8 weeks." I was shocked and humiliated. During the haircut, she even told me twice not to cross my legs--something I've never experienced at any salon. I asked to switch stylists, and was told I'd have to pay extra, even though the issue was not my fault. Ruby then claimed that because I agreed to a graduation in the back--which she suggested--she had to ignore my other requests. I cried in my car on the way home, devastated. $160+tax for a ruined haircut and a traumatizing experience. I can only hope no one else has to go through this. Without exaggeration, this was the worst salon experience of my life.

Being an out of state bride I was alittle nervous picking a hair and makeup team for my wedding day without meeting them until that weekend. Amber and her team could not have exceeded my expectations anymore than they did. They were so easy to get along with, a fun group of girls, and really listened to what myself and all of my bridesmaids wanted and they nailed every single one of them. We got so many compliments on our hair and makeup. I truly can't say enough good things about them. I would 12/10 recommend them! I was blown away when after all of our hair and makeup were done Amber stayed to even took some pictures of our group for us. I had the best experience with Something Beautiful! My gals and I all looked stunning and felt so confident! And artists had us done on time! I have heard horror stories about hair and make up running late on a wedding day! I have combination skin and fine lines that have caused issues with other makeup artists work. Such as, not lasting through a event or the make up looking cakey. I was so pleased that I didn't have any of those issues and my makeup and hair lasted the whole night. I have to also mention that the artists were very clean and seemed to use all proper sanitizing techniques. I would highly recommend this beauty team to anyone! read more

I had such an amazing experience with this wonderful group of ladies for my wedding. The trial was very helpful to decide the look I wanted and my wedding day went very smoothly. I actually ended up having two weddings (mid-covid backyard small wedding, big grand wedding with over 100 people) and used them for both! My entire bridal party and my mom and MIL all got hair and makeup, and we all looked fabulous! read more

I wear only foundation and mascara in my day to day life but found a picture of a natural glam look I liked and brought it to the trial and she perfectly brought my vision to life! She was on time, incredibly patient, and so easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. She was also a joy to hangout with all day. She was very responsive and even flexible when I had to change locations last minute, which took a huge amount of stress off my shoulders. Her team was also punctual, professional, and did a great job keeping us on schedule, which made the morning run so smoothly. Her travel fee was very reasonable as well. One small thing to note (which may be standard) is that there is a fee per artist if you move locations. Overall, I'm so grateful to have had her and her team as part of my wedding day!
