I couldn't be more impressed with what Rachel and Chris created for my husband and I on our wedding day. The boutonnieres, corsages, bouquets, center pieces and crown made of flowers for my flower girls were just spectacular. Not to mention the creative judgment the two of them have just blew me away. I am so, so incredibly happy my friend stumbled upon Rachael's yelp and referred me to her. I contacted her two weeks before my wedding, with a request for eight flower crowns, ten bouttonnieres, and two corsages. Rachael did an incredible job! She made the wood centerpieces that our flowers would go in for the wedding. She met us at our hotel in Walnut Creek, so we would have our bouquets/boutonnières for "first looks" and photos before the wedding! Then she made the trek to our wedding venue, at Tilden Park, in Berkeley and went above and beyond. Booked Rachael 2 years ago because florals are the most important aspect in my wedding and she knew that. That being said I made sure a florist was the first vender we booked. We were thrilled and excited to work with her and got her the deposit ASAP. she sent an email canceling 4 months before my wedding. I am all for extending your family but she should of communicated as soon as she became pregnant. It is the professional thing to do just in case there are complications and time is everything. She had 5 months to tell me which could of given me a much reasonable time frame to look for another florist especially having my wedding in the most busiest month for weddings. She should of had help from her helpers to complete the job due to it being such short notice or even reach out to another florists who could of taken over. She then said she would send me the deposit back ASAP with other florists she recommended. She kept saying she sent it and we let a few weeks pass and nothing then she said she resent it and waited over a week and nothing we live 45 minutes from each other should of only took a couple of days. Took her a month to get us the deposit back with no florists recommendations which was post marked a whole week after she claimed she sent it. Canceling was already a huge Inconvenience she should of sent our deposit back ASAP for the same reasons but instead she took her sweet time.
