We went to the fair during the last weekend and met up with a couple friends. I did some research beforehand, to see what the best foods were just because I didn't want to waste money and be disappointed on food items. I'm glad I did that because most of the food items I got from the recommendations I saw online, I enjoyed. We got hot dog on a stick (classic), pickle lemonade, chicken kebab, cinnamon roll, lobster fries... now I'm going to say hot dog on a stick was the best. Maybe I'm biased, lol. But, I do have to say, I didn't eat anything that made me say I would love to get it again next year. I knocked down one star because it is expensive. Be prepared to spend lots of money! Admission price is I believe $15 per person? I can't remember. Parking was $15. Each food/drink item ranges from maybe $10-$30. If you want to ride any rides and play any games, that is additional money as well. There are also vendors inside selling stuff. So, just make sure you come prepared to spend a lot but I feel like that is expected when you go to the fair. However, my friends and I made the most of it! So, we had a great time. There are lots of indoor exhibits as well that has AC, so you can take a break from the extreme heat. If you haven't checked out the state fair, I would recommend to check it out at least once. I was so excited to go on my day off and a HUGE THANK YOU to Aileen & her hubby for inviting me and my plus 1! We arrived separately from Aileen & her hubby. Parking was $15 for this event and we found a spot quickly and not too far away. When we arrived close to 4, there was not a long line to get through getting checked in. Thanks again to Aileen for giving me a heads up about what kind of bag I was allowed to carry, I showed up with a clear backpack and the strip search was a breeze... just kidding, lol, but the bag search only took seconds. As we walked in, our picture was taken and we were handed a ticket to check out our picture on the way out. We headed straight for food. The prices were a little scary... finding the least price corn dog being $7. My friend went with that while I searched for something exciting... long story short, I ended up with a corn dog as well, lol. We ventured into the beer garden and the wine garden. The blackberry slushi really hit the spot. It was a little sweet, you would almost never know there was wine in it. While the sun was beating down on us, heating up that black pavement, we appreciate the shades above, as well as some of the cool zones where giant fans were available to provide some relief. Those small tent areas were always packed when we walked by. Finally, we decided to go inside the buildings and found the air conditioning was the place to be. It was nice checking out the vendors. I bought some tasty beef jerky... a small pack for $10. I tried some pretty good salsa, too. This is where we found the cinnamon rolls. There were cool combinations like the cinnamon bacon bomb, the biscotti cinnamon roll... we decided to try the tres leeches roll. Service was fast and we happen to get a cinnamon roll fresh out of the oven where the cinnamon and sugar were still bubbling. What a tasty treat ($16). Feeling how overwhelming the heat was, we were very hesitant to go outside, but I was really looking forward to checking out the lowriders exhibit... I'm not sure if there are words to describe the beauty of the hard work they've put into perfection. Where can I see more of these? The Lowrider exhibit took my breath away. Next, I was excited to see there was an Egyptian exhibit for King Tutankhamun... King Tut Experience. We got to see replicas of the most iconic treasures, golden shrines, thrones, jewelry, ceremonial beds, his state chariot, and more. It was interesting me was laid to rest with 93 pairs of sandals to take with him into his next life. There was reading material available with each artifact. There was reading for Nefertiti, Anubis, and even Howard Carter; who carefully excavated King Tuts tomb in 1922... I am fascinated by ancient Egypt and the secrets they still hold... this history lesson was beautiful... Tina Marie was the hypnotist on stage a few times throughout the day. She was very entertaining... as well as her special guests who volunteered to be hypnotized. Bravo to all of them!!! Aileen and I met up again halfway during Tina Marie's show and high tailed it over to the Sky River Stage where we would be enjoying some of the best songs of the 70's and 80's by Yaht Rock Revenue. They were soooo goooood!!! They were singing songs I listened to as a kid with my parents.. we were surrounded by some of the best people singing and rocking out.. I had an amazing time with Aileen!!! In the end, I had to chevk out the rides. I didn't get on, but I loved watching other people ride and I laughed as they screamed with joy and fear, lol.. I wish they would've made it easier to find the water stations, but other than that, we had a fantastic time!!

We have never had a bad one yet and they hold you accountable to be in responsible, and your work being turned in and good attendance. We also swim and take PE classes here that are excellent with very good coaches.

I returned to my car 3 minutes later I got there at 5:56 pm at 6:03 there is a printed ticket on my windshield with a 33$ ticket on my window with threats of a lien on my vehicle. Found Los Rios police office says it closed at 4 I call the number on the door he tells me to follow the steps on the back so I fill it all waste 40 minutes doing all this find a pay station and pay for my parking. Submit a picture proof and appeal it and they still say claim is valid. I hope they're not paying these people anything more then minimum wage. Oh and I have to pay the fee to get a hearing. Good luck that's not my plate anyways have a good day. Don't visit these low budget college with rent a cops. They are desperate for funds it seems like.

She refused to grade my essay because she personally disagreed with my thesis. Please DO NOT waste your time with this college unless your goal is to become a cosmetologist or hair stylist. The classes are not tranferable to an accredited community, or state college, and are certainly not transferable to a UC.

I surprised him with a post Valentines date night with his valentine theme haunt and overall I wasn't mad. General admission tickets- I opted for general admission tickets and I'm definitely glad I didn't opt for the more expensive package to skip the line as it wasn't necessary. General admission line was one person in front of us and we waited less than 10 minutes to get into the actual event. -The haunted house itself it was cool but overall I'm just a scary person. They definitely didn't not have enough people throughout the haunted house so that was a bummer. It seemed like maybe less than 15-20 people throughout the entire haunted house. There was a pretty large stretch where nobody popped out and I was just scared on my own merits. I think if they had more people throughout the house would have been better or the house needed to be shortened. -photos I purchased the photo from before entering the haunted house and the lady at the concession counter overcharged my card so that was a bummer to find out after I left. Overall Mr Man enjoyed himself so that's all that really mattered. This was definitely a one and done for me. Great side quest valentines weekend adventure.

Something I've always wanted to experience so I was excited We waited in line for about 15 minutes. While waiting, they let us take a photo in front of one of the scary displays, which was a cool touch. Before entering, security made the rules very clear: no phones, no photos, no videos! The walkthrough took about 20 minutes. There was a few times were I couldn't tell is something was real or fake. Every time my girl screamed, I screamed right after her, it was automatic at that point. Toward the end, it felt like there weren't as many people popping out compared to the beginning, so it slowed down a little. But even with that, I still had a great time. Overall, it's a fun experience if you like haunted houses or horror-themed activities. My girl didn't love it as much as I did, but I truly appreciated her planning this for us. This would be great for date night!

First time in to Bowlero North Sac off of Madison Ave. Way back when I used to go to Country Club…read moreLanes or AMF Land Park in Sac, and in Yolo either UC Davis MUGA, Stars Vacaville, San Bruno Woodland, or Capitol Bowl for recreational or annual company tournaments or teambuilding. As of Spring 2026 I've joined a seasonal bowling league at Capitol Bowl in West Sac which continues for the summer. Some of my fellow bowlers practice at this Bowlero and suggested to try it out. They have a summer season pass good through 9/1, but what caught my eye was the Endless Summer Nights which is Sun from 6pm and Mon-Thu from 7pm to closing (11pm) unlimited games, shoe rentals included, for $17.99 per person. Walk-in only, pending availability, no fees per game or lane timers. Huge parking lot shared with In-Shape Fitness. Upon entrance there were some arcade games, a kids bowling lane area (~10 dedicated lanes), and the counter is to the left. Restrooms also on the left, with the bar and some pool/billiards tables to the right. There were two registers available to get bowling lane assignments and any rental shoes. Got Lane #40 furthest right by the WOW wall, and one thing I noticed was that if you weren't in the league bowling, your lane was dimly lit (not quite cosmic/glow bowling effect?) and the TV/projector screens tended to reflect heavily on the oily lane. They were showing cartoons/movies like the Smurfs, MLB Baseball and other sports. These pins do not have string setters like they do at Capitol or BLVD! The ball return had zero issues. They did have some food specials like a pizza and a pitcher, and they do have starters, shareables, fries, burgers, wraps, sandwiches, hot dogs, wings, pizza, and a couple of desserts. Drinks like craft lemonade, Pepsi products, iced tea, Gatorade, Red Bull, Beer, Wine, Cocktails too. Tried an order of the Bavarian pretzel sticks with cheese, and the chicken tenders, and some Mountain Dew. Took a bit of time to arrive but service was good, and cleanup when some of the ranch dressing spilled on the floor too, whoops. Endless Summer Nights started at 7pm but I would say we only bowled really from 9pm-11pm and got 4 or so full games in. There is only the monitor overhead and not built into the ball return. Pins were random multicolor (like 8 white, 1 red, 1 green). Chairs and table at the lane, with additional barstools facing the bar. The house balls shelves are labeled by weight but were pretty mixed up by colors and grip sizes. The vibe overall was alright. National Bowling Day is this Saturday August 8th, and there will be Family unlimited bowling from 11am-6pm for only $6.50 (50% off!).

I'm happy to find and visit Bowlero North Sacramento for the first time. We visited on Saturday morning because they were running a special, $12.99 unlimited bowling from 11 AM to 3 PM. It was 4 of us and we each played 3 games. Such a great deal! There is a small arcade area by the entrance. A bar and one pool table in the back. You can order food and drinks from the small food station. We had breakfast before bowling and didn't have the chance to try their food. Honestly, I don't have high expectations for food at bowling alleys. We were in lane 32. There are only 3 seats in the sitting area but you can also sit by the bar stools behind the lane. The lane next to us was empty so we were able to spread out. It would be tight if they place someone else next to us. I like the screens that run across with back wall with different channels (news, sports, etc.) I was entertained while waiting for my turn. We didn't have any technical problem during this visit. Our ball didn't get stuck and everything ran very smoothly. We had a great time! The bathroom is a little run down but well maintained. I don't like the dim red tint lighting but I get why they have to keep the lighting this way. The parking lot is pretty big and didn't have any problem with parking. They are right next to In-Shape Fitness. With this great deal, I will definitely be back soon.

I successfully watched the movie Obsession, a deeply frightening horror-and-romance film. Coming on a Tuesday was a spectacular deal. The movie ticket was only $6.50 each. For snacks, I tried the medium popcorn ($12.00) and churro bites with a side of caramel sauce ($7.89). The popcorn was deliciously salty + buttery and the churros were a decadent sweet treat. The theatre seats were super comfortable and the movie screen provided excellent visuals. The restrooms were very clean and well-maintained. The staff members were pleasantly friendly. My visit was positively wonderful. I appreciated the reasonable price points as well as the comfort of the theatre room. I'd absolutely return to CinemaWest Country Club & Giant Screen again in the future.

There was a good variety of conventional concessions available for purchase, self serve soda machines, & an open area with tables & chairs. The hallways to the theaters are wide. We found the theater to be clean with very comfy & roomy seats. I liked that the button on the side could raise the foot rest & recline the back into whatever position you liked (versus only 2 positions of kicking back or being upright). I also liked that I got my own arm rest. The viewing experience was good. When we got out, there was popcorn spillage in the hall. Not sure how long it would be there, but no employees were around. It's a surreal experience to go through a ghost town of a mall to get to the theater, but there's a lot of parking available.

Spectacular turf field with nice bleachers, and super clean bathrooms. Track has border to a green belt so it's a a beautiful walk around the track.
