The facility is beautiful and so comfortable for visiting, attending events, and more. The history of the business is really fun to know. I am gluten-free and was typically sipping on their fairly flat seltzer drinks. My husband drinks their beers and says they're ok. Recently they have started offering wines! But, their red wines are chilled, which ruins the experience; a good Pinot Noir deserves to be enjoyed with the full-flavor and body at room temp. The service is usually pretty good, with someone behind the bar- but often there is only 1 person. We often wish there were more live music- a space to go and sip and enjoy tunes! There is a trivia night, but we stopped attending as it is no fun trying to be competitive when the MC gets intoxicated and struggles to maintain a flow. Overall, it is a good brewery for being in Dillon- but it is the only brewery, which means there's no competition to improve. read more

This was such a fun place to spend a few evenings. Their beer selection is great, staff - wonderful and the Mexican restaurant-next door -freakin awesome. Trivia night on Thursday night was a blast . Stop in - order your beer and place a order next door and they will deliver it t you at the brewery. The place is spotless and very inviting. A great little local hangout. The staff was cheerful and friendly and the prices were right. We're in love with their Pioneer Porter and the Poindexter Pilsner. I opted for the sampler, which was a cheap way to test out a variety of their offerings. And for $5, it's hard to pass up. It will be even better if they eventually start serving food, at least appetizers. I know we probably would have stayed for another beer or two if there was food offered in house. They do have takeout menus if you want to have food delivered, but it seems a little silly to do so. At least for me. A great place to visit, definitely try the Pioneer Porter! read more

We stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon for a couple of beers. I found it odd that other reviewers mentioned how clean the place was but it is new looking, nicely decorated and spotless. We enjoyed a beer while playing cribbage; they have a nice selection of board games to house from. There is also a tv on the mantle with couches for catching a football game. Some folks sitting at the bar were chatting with the brewer and we ended up going with them to tour the facility and see the equipment. It was such a pleasant surprise to see that Beaverhead Brewing is open and serving. The beer was very good, the bartender was friendly, and we were able to get delicious Thai food from a food truck down the street and bring it into the brewery. We stopped to stretch our legs and found this gem. We tried the Whitetail Wit, the amber lager, pale ale, and porter. I was pleasantly surprised by the pale ale. My husband enjoyed the wit. The porter was pleasant with its coffee undertones. The atmosphere was authentic and laid back. We will be back on our next trip through Dillon. read more

It appears they don't filter their beers, which is a problem for me. Flavor was ok and it's a nice looking place, but it just doesn't feel comfortable and like a place I would want to hang out at. I'd go back if I was in the area, but will not make a special trip. read more

I so badly want this to be a good brewery! I've visited several times over the last couple years. The atmosphere is great and the locals are always welcoming. The beer, on the other hand, is so inconsistent that I'm afraid to stop in when I'm in town. One trip the IPA will be amazing and the next visit it will be cloudy, off-puttingly bitter. Once the bartender suggested I not order it because "there is something wrong with this batch". I often think the brewer is using the wrong yeast or doesn't care about the quality. I noticed the price was also increased as the quality has fallen off...$4.75 for a pint is robbery! The selection is also pretty boring...the same 1/2 dozen beers with maybe 1 seasonal but since the brewer can't get a handle on the basics he's not going to try a saison or brown. read more

Nice vibe in a nice little town! Locals and tourists. Had the Whitetail Wit and Yellow Sally Bright Ale. The Yellow Tail is a nice Summer Ale with good hop presence. Wit is tasty on warm summer day. If you like beer, friendly servers, and local hometown feel, this is the only stop you need to make. The Whitetail Wit is my favorite, but the Pioneer Porter is always delicious as well. Plenty of choices and of course they have flights so you can sample their creations and will fill your growler for you before you leave. I love the fact that A big group of us can go in on a Friday night and grab a couple beers, have some great conversations and catch up on our week. They don't serve food, but they have menus to local restaurants (some even deliver). Their servers are super friendly and on the ball. The place is super clean and bright with windows into the brewing room, and the art on the walls are changed periodically, but always interesting and have that local flare (and yes, some of it is for sale!). Buy a shirt or hat (they even have some cute baby onesies) and grab a pint glass or growler. Don't forget to get your Montana Brewery Passport stamped before you leave!! read more
