When looking for a new dentist, I decided to come to yelp to search. Eubanks Dental had amazing reviews so I decided to take my dental needs to them. I have to say, the other reviewers didn't let me down. This is definitely a 5 Star (more of I could) dental office. The staff and doctors are beyond awesome and make me feel extremely comfortable through every visit. Dr Eubanks is such a cool dude! He is very informative and is straight forward with everything he does. Plus, he's pretty hilarious with all his stories and singing to tunes on the radio in the office, haha. Front office staff and assistants definitely do not fall short of giving great service either. They are always friendly and make me feel at home. Very nice guy, but office management is a bit of a mess. He's in practice with his wife, so you can expect to be shunted between both. They haven't been able to find a hygienist for over a year now. My wife has had her appointment postponed twice now due to events in the dentists' personal lives. That's the problem when both practicioners are married; a family event affects both. So now my wife has to wait till mid August to be seen. I can't be sure of this, but I have a hunch that the wife acts as a finder for her husband. That may not be true, but the thought is there. Don't get me wrong though, both are nice people. read more

This review is delayed, but every time I get a phone call asking of dentist recommendation, I encourage people not to mind driving to Beaverton, because simply the best dental care is at Eubanks Family Dental. Dr.Eubanks is a man of integrity and great character, his wife who is also a dentist is AMAZING! The whole entire team is pleasant. If I can put it in the comparison with retailers-it's the top of a line Nordstrom care. Doctor went above and beyond taking care of my friend who needed help. The consultation and treatment was in depth, their kindness and professionalism are outstanding. We didn't sense a hint of judgment but instead were treated like family. read more

Okay, not going to lie..I havent been to the dentist is a few years. I love my teeth, but really hate going to the dentist. Im getting all nervous just typing out this review. I went in today for an exam/cleaning and i had a really good experience. Im sooo happy i chose to come to Dr. Eubanks. He was super friendly, i did not have to wait long for my actual appointment to begin and he took the time to explain everything that will need to be taken care of. I will be going back for all the FUN dental work to be done. I also have nothing but great things to say about the hygenist, Debra. She was so friendly and talked to me throughout the entire cleaning. It was hard to reply as there were tools all up inside mouth but we had a great conversation and before i knew it, i was done! haha. I agree with the other reviewer that the front office lady, Deanna was helpful in providing estimated costs and insurance info. She knew her stuff, which is impressive these days. I chose to go with an early appointment, so i dont know how the parking situation is in the afternoon, but this office shares the parking lot with Safeway and few other shops, so im guessing it could get busy. read more

Dr Eubanks is the best dentist we have ever seen - ever - hands down. I'd had several awful dental experiences before coming here for the first time and as a result I'd put off coming in for dental exams or cleanings for quite a few years before we became patients here about 6 years ago. Dr. Eubanks' office is different. Everyone in the office is friendly and fabulous to work with. Nobody talked down to me or scolded me for not flossing enough, or putting off my dental visits for too long, etc. He has a friendly, easy to understand approach that even puts our 5 year old (who has a tendency to be skiddish around new doctors or dentists he doesn't know) at ease. All the hygienists we've seen are easy going with a great sense of humor. The office is newly renovated and comfortable. The back of the office even has a convenient parent/sibling waiting area with books and toys adjacent to the treatment rooms which allow you to be nearby if your kid is being treated without hovering. We've moved much further away recently but still make the 35 minute drive past many other dentist offices to come here because there is no other place like it! read more

My dental care from the Eubanks Family Dental practice in Beaverton has been consistently excellent for the many years I've been a patient there. Dr. Eubanks is head and shoulders the gentlest and most skilled dentist I have ever been to (I'm a senior citizen.) Dr. Wen is excellent as well. I'm visiting from Florida for Christmas. I chipped a back molar and needed help. Based on reviews on Healthgrades I decided to see Dr Eubanks. Not only was he great, he staff is great as well. He gave me 3 options and I decided to get a new crown. He also came in early the next day just to get my tooth fixed before the holidays. I was out in 2.5 hours, absolutely no pain and a new crown. He also recommended a new night guard and I can't wait to get it. I highly recommend him! read more

Best dentist ever. So is his wife. Everyone who works here is lovely. I can't recommend them enough. Kind, comforting, patient, willing to take time to explain things. I have had the misfortune to need a fair amount of work in the last three years and have seldom had any discomfort other than my own anxiety. Let's set the record straight, I take FOREVER to get numb and therefore have rarely had a pleasant experience at the dentist. I don't think anyone really enjoys going to the dentist (sorry Dr. Eubanks and Dr. Nguyen) but if you have to go (and we all do). This is a good place to be. In the past most dentist have just given up and given me nitrous, which while effective it's also very expensive and often not covered by insurance. However, the team here is super customer oriented and friendly. Both Dr. Eubanks and Dr. Nguyen are super patient and take the time to make sure I'm numb. And Deanna in the office is always really good about calling you if a spot opens up in thier schedule, following up on appointments and getting you insurance estimates. They make going to the dentist just about asbearable as it can be(that's higher praise than it sounds like)! read more

I moved out of town years ago so I hadn't seen Dr. Eubanks in a long time. I was in town last week on vacation and I had a tooth giving me trouble. A month ago I had a filling replaced and my regular dentist in LA found a hidden cavity and some cracks. His replacement filling was insufficient and I was back in two weeks later to get it fixed again. That was 10 days before I got to Portland. By the time I decided it was an emergency, I was up to 20 ibuprofen a day because of the pain. Dr. Eubanks used several techniques to diagnose the source of the pain, and replaced my other dentist's filling with a new one. And I was off pain killers that night. It is now a week later and Dr. Eubanks first attempt was better than my dentist's two tries to fix the problem. He always had a great chair-side demeanor and is occasionally too funny for having tools in your mouth. I am not surprised to discover that he has become an amazingly skilled dentist. read more

It just doesn't and simply can't get any better than this! When it comes to dental work, I hate it. When it comes to dental pain, I am the world's ultimate wimp. I have been a patient of Dr. Joshua Eubanks for about a decade now. I first got to know him at his Portland office. He and I have a very clear understanding . . . . . he doesn't hurt me, I won't hurt him! I have recommended countless people to his practice. I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else. His wife is also a great dentist. Bottom line, you want a place to go where the people are friendly, the office is spacious and not cramped, a place you can actually relax . . . . and, get the best pain free dental care, this is the place to go. I've always had a problem getting numb and have ultra sensitive teeth. Notwithstanding, I've actually fallen asleep in the chair! Like someone else said, reviewing a dentist is not something I would have really thought about, but Dr. Eubanks (or Josh) was just so personable and friendly that it's hard to not want to give him five stars. I have to say, that was the most comfortable I've ever felt at a dentist. We recently moved to Beaverton and I asked our Neighborhood Association for recommendations for a dentist. Five different people recommended Dr. Eubanks so we decided to give him a try. Wow - what a great find. He is thorough, gentle, knowledgeable and has great chair-side manner and his staff is also excellent. My only regret is that we didn't find him 20 years ago. My wife and I have gone to eubanks family dental for the last several years for all of our dental needs. The entire staff is very attentive. There is a new hygienist, Liza, that did a very thorough cleaning. Dr. Eubanks, as has been my experience in the past, takes as much time as needed to answer any questions. I've never felt rushed. Well, I can only start out by saying you will want to thank me for this recommendation. I have been seeing Dr. Eubanks for 12-13 years and I have sent my brother and my husband to him and they both agreed with my assessment, one of the best. We have had it all, root canals, caps, cleanings cavities fixed, there isn't a more caring dentist around. If my kids were young, I would want their first experience to be with him! read more

The dentist is not a place I ever tolerated let alone loved until Dr. Eubanks entered our lives. His gentle nature and vast knowledge ensure a well rounded experience with kind but firm reminders (without the guilt!) to take care of your teeth and HOW, outside of his office. My wife and I have been going to Dr. Eubanks for more than 10 years and we now have two children (5 & 7) that are JEALOUS if one of us gets to see Dr. Eubanks and they don't.
