We talked, laughed and laid out a dental plan for me. I've been to the office several times over the last few months getting several things repaired, both needed and proactive repairs. Visit: semi-annual cleaning The front desk people are always friendly and welcoming. The dental hygienist was excellent: she checked several times to make sure I was comfortable, explained what she was doing and why. Offered up a mirror for me to see which area I needed to do a bit more work on when brushing. Gave me a very good tip for flossing in areas that presented an issue. Dr. Vu is extremely knowledgeable in all the latest advances in dentistry. She is very thoughtful and meticulous with individualized patient care. TLDR: Best dental experience I have ever had for preventative exams and cleaning! I've encountered a range of dentists, including several that were scammy up sellers. Nothing but top quality care here. Modern upscale office. Check in was on time and efficient. They use the newest technology for imaging and cleaning. Dr. Casey is excellent! She provided great teaching, cleaned my teeth without destroying my gums, and did not pressure me at all for additional treatments. Pro tip: I learned a few years ago you can actually heal small cavities with good at home care and fluoride. Not everything needs a filling. My mind was blown. Dr. Vu and her staff are nothing short of stellar. We found Wellness Dental in the most random way: my husband had a dental emergency that put him in the hospital as a result of the years of incompetent dental work he had received in the Boston, MA area. His surgeon here in PDX recommended Dr. Vu and we are so grateful to be able to work with her. Talk about a silver lining from an awful situation! Dr. Vu is now our family dentist and my 8 year old son also gets to see her- she is brilliant with him too! My dentist's office recommended that I call Wellness and they were able to squeeze me in the next day!! The Wellness team was very professional and saw me at the scheduled time.
