Special thank you to Brandon for making room in his schedule to get my mom booked for her cut + dye. My moms hair needed a huge do over with her natural grays peaking through. Natural is beautiful but it was clashing with her previous high light job. My little sister sent in a picture previously that I didn't get to see. The only thing I wish I pitched in for was a darker hair tone as it would have flattered my moms look better (thanks sis). Anyways Brandon was great. They accepted card and Venmo as the best forms of payment. I'm sure they accept cash as well. It was appointment only. Total was $95 for cut + dye. My mom tipped Brandon $20 in cash! read more

I've gone to Nikki prior for a hair tone and that's why I came back again due to my stylist being out of town. I got in touch with her provided photos of my current hair and my inspiration photos of her work that I wanted. She quoted me $500 and was able to fit me in within 2 weeks of my request. . When i arrived she informed me she couldn't get me blonde like the photo I requested. ( I am coming all the way from LA. This should have been informed to me prior) I expected the duration of the appt to be 5+ hours due to the cost of my hair and because I'm going lighter. However it was just 3 hours when I go ashy brown with baby lights. Let me tell when she finished my hair it was still ASHY BROWN. NOTHING LIKE I WANTED. ( I also thought this was possible due to her before & after on her instagram photos below for ref) I told her immediately how I felt she insisted that it was going to be lighter once "she curled my hair" and after I wash my hair it'll be lighter. I went home followed her after care instructions with pre treatment and purple shampoo. 2 HAIR WASHES LATER.... BRASSY and UNBLENDED ROOTS REVEALED. If it wasn't for my friend that told me I would have not known at all. My hair being curled after the service just HID that problem, I contacted her and she blamed my water and condition of my hair being dry to not hold the color and why I couldn't go lighter ( when it's only the ends are dry). Other reviewers mention she doesn't use quality products reason being that the toner doesn't last long. ( my usual stylist never had this issue) It's also mention her blending at the roots is also an issue. ( ref photo below) In the end she only offered to fix then unblended area by making my hair darker. Despite the fact that my ultimate goal was to go lighter. I won't be returning due to the gave the drive and time isn't worth it. Even if I went to her to fix my roots I'll still have brassy hair. Very disappointed for the amount of money that was spent for something that's no where close to what I wanted. History of my hair my color service was back in September 2023. (The condition of my hair. I bleach my hair for baby lights no more than twice a year and go ashy brown look) my hair is reflectively healthy despite the ends being dry and just needs a trim. read more

I recently visited Bebe Salon and had a deeply troubling experience. Unfortunately, I felt discriminated against during my visit. The staff, including an individual named Daniel, made me feel unwelcome, and I was met with laughter and refusal of service. This experience was not only hurtful but also unprofessional. Additionally, after leaving the salon, Daniel continued to send me numerous text messages, which made me feel harassed and scared. This is the first time I give someone a bad review. Please do not let Nikki do your hair. She did an ugly dry balayage, I ever had and she charge me $390. I asked for highlight, but I didn't see any highlights, so now I have to go find another place to fix it, because my hair its so dry, and I can't stand the ugly color she gave me, so Do not waste your money like me. If you are spending this much money, don't go with her. read more

Booked an appointment here with Kelly yesterday and I absolutely love the turnout! Kelly was friendly and precise, I was so surprised at how she was able to lighten my hair so blonde with just one bleaching session! She was so super efficient, I was out of the salon in 2.5 hours. She also was able to recommend me products to maintain the integrity of my hair. And you can't beat the prices here compared to other salons! You get the same, if not better, quality here at bebe salon for less the price! I'll definitely be coming back:) read more

If you can't stand the heat, stay outta the kitchen... too bad this was a salon! I got my hair done last weekend and I was sweating like no other. How does a business not have working AC in this weather?! It felt like 100+ degrees in addition to all the foils, heat lamp AND hot blow drying. The audacity of charging clients a couple hundred dollars and not care about customer comfort is very sad and frustrating. If AC didn't work I would have gladly had my stylist reschedule me until the business had proper AC. I can't imagine someone older having to go through this and possibly getting a heat stroke. I feel sorry for the staff there too who have to stand and work in that heat and stuffy salon. Don't get me started with the hair washing station... dirty with supplies everywhere. *Double check if their AC works before booking if you want to be comfortable. Gave an additional star because I actually liked my stylist's work. read more

I asked for baby lights .. then Kelly asked me to show her a photo to which I did for the purposes of showing her the type of blonde I want .. she started foiling and when she's near done she asks why I asked for baby lights if the photo was bayalage then confirmed she foiled my head as a bayalage. Then told me she would leave my roots natural but ended up adding this light brown color on them. She didn't foil the way I asked and didn't give the the color I asked. Instead I ended up with orange roots and overall brassy orange look. I don't recommend this spot .. now I have to wait to get my hair done again as it was a waste of 300$ read more

I had my hair done by Sonya I found her on Instagram. It was a good experience! She communicated well on Instagram and was time efficient. I showed her an inspo pic and my hair came out great. It's not as easy as pulling a pic off the internet and showing it to your stylist especially when everyone's hair is so different and you don't know the hair history of that inspo pic. I really appreciated how Sonya went through the steps of how my hair could come out with the inspo pic I provided. And she also provided me a list of products to purchase for my hair type. Definitely recommend Sonya! read more

Was looking for a new hairstylist because my hairstylist was going on maternity leave.. I did love the work Kelly did.. AT THE MOMENT.. I noticed she damaged my hair really bad! My hair was perfectly fine before I came here. My hair is all fryed from the bleach. I was amazed at how fast she did my hair in 2 hrs, when I started to realize she didn't take care of my hair at all.. No products were applied to keep my hair from damaging. Only thing she applied was oil that I get from Amazon for $12. My hair is my everything and she did me bad. Now I had to buy my own hair products to restore my hair. She uses cheap hair products. I'm scared what else she put on my hair. My roots are yellow color now , it does not match with the bottom blonde that i have. I did notice her place was really dirty and basic. Never cheating on my hairstylist again. I'd rather sit in a chair for 5 hours instead of 2 to have my hair looking nice and healthy. SMH read more

I rarely leave one star reviews for places, but this experience truly left me feeling disappointed, disheartened, and extremely regretful. After skimming through most of the 1-2 star reviews, I realized that I wasn't the only one left frustrated and dissatisfied with my experience. Would highly recommend reading ALL the Yelp reviews before coming to this salon (sort by newest first). This was my second time getting my hair done, and I initially had high hopes after reading the top reviews about Kelly (the owner). She was very sweet when I met her and made small talk with me throughout the session, sharing stories and making me feel comfortable since it was my second time getting my hair dyed. I showed her a picture of what I wanted (brown/blonde balayage), and she said she "could definitely get that light in one session" from my current light brown hair. On their IG, they often share a promo for a discounted "$260 balayage," but I would stay clear as this is likely just a tactic to give you a mediocre session and justify the minimal time/resources spent because you opted for the promo. The session was done in two hours, and as a note, I have very long, thick hair. I was surprised by how fast she was given my last session took ~3.5 hours. Since I'm unfamiliar with the balayage steps, I didn't question her process but realized after that she skipped the toner step and only bleached my hair. After Kelly dried and curled my hair, I saw very little difference in the color and commented that it wasn't as light as I had wanted. Kelly reassured me that it would get lighter after a few days. She took some photos on her phone (which took several minutes), then showed me a picture from the back that showed a nice brown color with bright blonde streaks. I was pleasantly surprised and felt some relief before I paid (with tip), but after reading most of the reviews, I realized she had likely applied a filter to make my hair appear lighter than it actually was. When I got home, I noticed that there was still bleach left on my forehead, and my hair definitely felt more damaged, thin, and dry than it was before. Regardless of any type of lighting that I viewed my hair in, it definitely did not match the brown/blonde color she had showed me in the photo and looked the exact same as it did before. I could go on about my experience, but my recommendation would be to be cautious about this place and read the reviews before placing a deposit. I am just sharing my experience in hopes that others won't have to go through something similar. read more

MY HONEST OPINION: 3.5/5 Haven't had my hair done in two years and I came across Nikki on IG so I made an appointment! She is very communicative and quick with replies; she'll try to fit you in a date and time within the next week or less. She's very cute and easy to talk to, so I was comfortable! The only con I experienced was the bleaching process. I do have long and thick hair, so maybe applying a lot of bleach weighed my head down to the point that my neck couldn't hold up any longer. I forgot another con I found was the blending, especially at the roots. I bleached and toned my own hair at home to fix the blend at the top so it's fine now LOL but blend is important! Niki is pretty efficient with time as I could tell she was rushing, because she constantly has many customer appointments throughout the day. I also understand that the labor and time of the hairdressers need to be compensated but I felt that $500 + was a bit on the pricey side when compared to other salons. It's an extra $20 for a trim but they don't really do layers or anything special; it's literally a straight cut across. But all in all, Niki changed and styled my hair to the way I wanted it and I loved having my hair played and washed with (so relaxing)! I will definitely make an appointment with her again, probably when she doesn't have too many appointments lined up so that she could take her time without the rush :) read more

I got my hair done earlier this year here with Nikki; I think her style of coloring is pretty well-done but I think she rushes the bleaching while balayaging and then filters the photos on instagram, so a lot of the ashy tone you see is from that filter. I do not have major complaints, but my hair did not come out as ashy/toned as I wanted; it was more of a honey balayage. I think her pricing is a bit high, as she charges $450 (in 04/2022) + tip for about 3h of work. She told me to come back in 3-6 months for further toning, but because I realized the ash tone did not say more than a few days, I would not come back. I think you could probably find better pricing for the exact color that you wanted. read more

First time getting my hair colored, bleached, dyed and I am so happy I took my friend's recommendations + reviews and booked an appointment with Nikki! I am in love with my new, fresh hair! Booking an appointment was extremely easy, texted earlier in the week and got an appointment for originally Friday morning, but rescheduled at Nikki's request to Saturday. Nikki responds quickly and asks for a photo of the back of your hair and what you would like with reference photos from her insta. My hair was very dark, long and hadn't been cut in almost 2 years! The appointment went: cut, bleach, wash + color, blow dry and style. This took only 3 hours - amazing because everyone was telling me it would probably take forever. Warning - if you have thick hair (like me), you'll definitely get a neck work out with the amount of foil needed. Nikki worked with me telling me what was possible and not possible with my hair, especially since I wanted a lighter color and was choosing between lavender or pink. We opted for a brunette lavender which I am in love with! We agreed that we could also pick the other color during the next appointment. Even during the haircut Nikki wanted to make sure it was the length I wanted and since I was unsure about the initial mid length cut, she cut it shorter because I mentioned I'm go between super long and short hair and so glad she did! My head is both happy and lighter. Very communicative and fun to talk to during the appointment. Bebe is located in the same plaza as Tip Top Sandwich/Gong Cha. The salon seems pretty COVID safe to me - clients and stylists wore masks at all times, seats were spread far apart, and there was disinfectant available. Cash only salon with ATM inside. Nikki provides you with the WiFi so you can be on your phone while she works on your hair :) I highly recommend Nikki for your hair transformation needs, she'll work so much magic on your hair! read more

This review is for Alexus Tapia (IG: _HairbyLexx_) I went to see Alexus after reading Bebe Salon's 1500+ positive reviews on Yelp. To my complete surprise this establishment was in a minimum of 10 violations of The Common State Board of Cosmetology that would result in their automatic suspension of their business until remedied. Just to name a couple, 16 CCR § 978, 16 CCR § 983, 16 CCR § 990, 16 CCR § 965, and 16 CCR § 994- a very big one which their trashcans were overflowing with foils along with chunks of bleached hair stuck to them. I was the first client of the day which means they did not throw their trash out the night before. Unfortunately, it seems the reviews were completely inaccurate, as evidenced by the fact that she damaged my hair with what was supposed to be a simple dye job. However, I should have left the appointment when she showed up 10 minutes late and half asleep at 10:40 am. I have had my hair dyed at least 100 times in the last 20 years and never had a hairstylist dye my hair in the sink or merely poured dye into my hair and ask if I wanted to sit in the chair or just wait in the sink. Further, she talked on the phone the whole time my hair was being processed (over 40 minutes) and did not check on the levels of where my hair was currently being processed. Had she once come to see the progress of my hair, I would not have left the way I did. When I pointed out the obvious streaks in my hair, caused by her unprofessional attempts to dye my hair in the sink, rather than section my hair in a professional manner. Alexus tried to fix the streaks 2 times- unsuccessfully. Ultimately, I Ieft the salon knowing that sitting in Alexus' chair any further would irreparably damage my hair. She assured me that after a few washes my hair color will be even. Once I got home, I used a whole bottle of clarifying shampoo to strip the color and washed my hair more than 4 times unfortunately my ends were still extremely dark. I amicably requested a refund to Alexus, in hopes that she has some level of integrity and/or decency to know what is right. She offered me a laughable $80 refund because "she still did spend time and money" on the service when I had to pay another $110 to fix her mistake because she was too busy on her phone call to check on my hair. I wanted to resolve this matter pleasantly as I do understand people make mistakes, but now I feel that it is within my right as a consumer to share my experience with the general public which may or may not be limited to governing boards , agencies that protect consumers, and appropriate health bureaus. read more

I came here February due to an instagram ad for a balayage for $280. I would say save your time and money. I have long, thick wavy hair, and this was done in less than 2 hours, which usually when I get a balayage it ranges anywhere from 3-5 hours. Kelly as well left my hair with a yellow/greenish upper tone, the pictures below are the pictures from the same day. Coming out of the salon I noticed my hair seemed fried and unhealthy. I messaged Kelly that same night about how unsatisfied I was with my hair, I went back the following week and just got a toner since I didn't like it at all, and asked her why does my hair break more, and she explained to me due to the balayage, and bleach does that to your hair. I understand bleach does this to hair but my hair was so fried and wasn't it. Never has this happened to me in all my time I've gotten a balayage. Till this day which is June I am still doing hair mask and trimming my hair monthly just to restore the damaged that was done in this salon. I suggest save your time and money. read more

I was looking all over the place to find a hairstylist when I found Nikki on Instagram her photos look amazing!!! I have been to different hairstylists and have had the issue where they dont get the color I requested right at all, But to see Nikki work her magic was impressive normally when I go into any salon they have me there for a whole day but not here I wanna say at most it was 4 hours & 30min. I got a haircut as I had very dead ends and finaly recieved a silvery tone, Ive been attempting for quite a while to get this color but here Nikki achieved it spectacularly I am absolutely In lovee with the way it turned out I have Zerooo Complaints I have a few tones showing and I absolutely adore it couldn't have even asked for anything better I will be referring friends and family. I got my hair colored twice by Nikki but after this last time, it's safe to say I won't be returning. My hair color completely changed within 3.5 weeks and after reflecting, there are too many red flags about getting your hair done by her. She uses so many chemicals on your hair that the fumes make you feel like you can't breathe and she is not gentle and yanks/rips the foil out of your hair. After she's done, she spends 15 minutes taking pictures of your hair while applying lots of filters. I read reviews on yelp that she is super fast but clearly that is not a good thing. She doesn't seem detail oriented at all and just rushes to get it done. She also gave me a very uneven haircut but because she curled it, I couldn't really tell until after I washed my hair. My hair looked amazing when she was done (hence why I came back to her a 2nd time) but I realized it's all filtering. On top of all this, the salon is quite dirty. I basically got fooled by her instagram photos and I urge anyone who is considering to have their colored by Nikki to avoid and spend your money elsewhere because she also over charges like crazy. I'm very disappointed with how my hair looks now and I definitely wasted my money coming here. *Update: Nikki saw my review and texted me a bunch of nonsense. She is unreal, she charges customers hundreds of dollars and then wants us to buy a shampoo, mix it with our current one to keep it the color we asked for? A proper balayage should not fade like mine did within a month. read more

Ms. Wendy Ho is a hair whisperer so if you're looking for a change, she's your gal! I AM IN LOVE with my balayage. Like OBSESSED. Note that Bebe Salon is cash-only and accepts venmo. I loved Nikki because she was very responsive and she helped me last minute because my old salon cancelled my appointment out of nowhere and I had a trip planned so I needed to get it done quick. She was very friendly and that's why I put 2 instead of 1 star. But when it came to the appointment she put on SOOOO much bleach. I've gotten my hair bleached for a while and this made my hair so weak! I have really thick hair and this has been the only time where I felt like my hair was going to break or melt off, and it felt soooo thin when I left. My hair from my last lady was so blended at the roots that it's looked super natural so when growth came it looks great still! Unfortunately Nikki left me with splotches at the center of my head :( that's where I normally part my hair. I think the splotches are bc she put too much bleach in the foil, that it bled out to my scalp. I think blending is super important for girls who have dark roots, I think at least apply a semi permanent color in between where it's bleached and your roots so it looks even and natural. For blending, i think she should've sectioned my hair differently, she sectioned it straight back and didn't not take small enough sections for it too look natural. The sections should've gone with my part in the middle and separated on on the left and right side rather than straight back. I also experienced lots of harsh scratching on my scalp when she was washing out the bleach which was very uncomfortable and my skin felt raw. I was in the area and looked up this place. The salon is clean and the employees were very welcoming. I was assigned to Joana, who is amazingly skilled with the scissors. She was very thoughtful and took the time to ask me what I wanted. She was also very gentle when she washed my hair. Joana is very knowledgeable about many topics, so conversation was not an issue. Even though I don't live nearby, I became a faithful customer of this salon. This was one of the best salon experiences I've had in Southern California. read more

Loved my experience with Nikki! I honestly don't know why I waited so long to write this review but after coming here twice I am absolutely in love and don't plan to go to any other stylist. My friend recommended me to her after she got her hair bleached blonde and I had a chance to look at Nikki's Instagram page to know what experience she had. The first time she colored my hair I was skeptical about how light my hair could go. BOY, WAS I SURPRISED! Nikki was able to lighten my hair so much that I didn't even recognize myself! Not to mention the fact that with such a limited timeframe, she was able to squeeze me in and get my hair done just hours before hopping onto my flight at LAX to go to Tokyo! Nikki is such a personable and charismatic woman and I enjoy having my hair done by her. She's definitely considerate of your concerns and your requests and has a lot of great recommendations on products to use for afterwards as well. The second time I came through, I asked to go much lighter and to cut off a significant chunk. AVOID THIS SALON. I want to share this with you so you don't experience the same thing as I did. They ruined my black clothes during my service. Look at these bleach stains! They're very unprofessional and should not be trusted with your hair. Their salon is a mess and has bleach stains everywhere too. Read other people's warnings and reviews before you decide to get your hair done, especially with Nikki. When I mentioned this to her and asked for her to pay for my damaged clothes, she said that this is what happens sometimes and that she's not able to help. Do not trust her with this much carelessness! I should've read people's reviews more carefully. Apparently she uses filters on her photographs and also fakes her followers. Not to mention that they are a cash only business, which is very suspect. read more
