I traveled from San Diego to OC For Kevin. I had been searching for a stylist to give me a long wolf cut at a reasonable price. Previously, I've had a shag cut with curtain bangs and although there are similarities, there's a big difference. I didn't want to settle for a stylist to give me a cut "they thought would look best on me." Based on his calendar's availability, I booked him on a Monday at 1pm. So, I made the trip to OC and I have no regrets. The price point was great, we went with a dry cut no shampoo/conditioner/wash and I was totally fine with that. The whole session took about 30 minutes in total and he talked me through the whole process. I brought one friend along with me on the trip and he was able to sit in the styling room with us. Kevin and his team were nice but when I asked for short sides with a textured fringe, maybe he didn't quite understand my request. I came in for a wavy Korean perm on my virgin hair and have no regrets at all! Scheduling online was super easy with their scheduling calendar and the staff were attentive and super responsive throughout the whole process. When I sat down for the consultation Kevin and his team played great Christmas music and kept it upbeat. They had great chemistry and vibe and made me comfortable the whole experience. Literally an amazing experience! After searching on Yelp for the best of the best for my 13 year old son, I saw Kevin's salon but it was 1.5 hour drive for me. I kept going back to his page because compared to anyone else closer to me, he was literally the best. So I went for it and booked online. I am so glad I made that choice. I can book my family to get their haircut all together and I don't have to stress. Because the atmosphere is calm and he gives my kids 1-1 attention, the kids like it too.
