Hair Genius! If you have hard to color Asian hair this is your go to. Tony does not filter his photos. My hair honestly looks better in person. He usues quality products and makes sure you leave his chair happy. I've done to others before and always come right back to Tony bc he is seriously the best kept secret for hair in the OC. I no longer trust my hair with anyone else. My hair is healthy, shiny, and feels strong. I get so many dang compliments and I feel so beautiful when Tony does my hair. So grateful to have found him.
Tony is a wizard colorist! His results are jaw dropping without sacrificing hair health, even with bleaching! Pure magical silky shiny colored hair that complements your unique complexion & style. His pricing is also a deal for the quality of his work, and top of the line products. I only trust Tony to avoid burnt out damaged hair, short lasting, dull coloring. His color is unique to the client, lasts a long time, keeps hair healthy & silky. Highly recommend!
Tony is the best! He has a super super great reputation for a reason. At first, I debated on going to him or to a salon (which still had a lot of good reviews) but after seeing even just one review on the salon saying that they damaged someone's hair.. I knew I wanted to go to Tony. Initially I thought I had really damaged hair from the last time I did a balayage (hence why I have let my hair grown out so much), so I was super picky on finding a stylist. He got to work right away and explained that my hair was dry and frizzy, not exactly damaged, so he was able to use the correct products, explaining step by step what he did to fix the health of my hair. He uses really good products and has taken many courses along his career in order to cater to his clients. The advice he gave me for after the cut and color was super useful too. He definitely does not cut corners and when he realized my hair was thicker and longer to work with, instead of quickly getting it over with, he worked on it carefully for six-ish hours!! His kindness and attentiveness go unnoticed!! This is my forever stylist now!!
This is my 2nd time getting a haircut from Tony and it came out so freaking cute!!!! So happy I found him!!! He is a master of his craft. He takes very detailed attention to make sure your hair comes out perfect before he lets you leave. His price is very reasonable. If you need a new haircut for summer, do not hesitate to come to him!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.
Tony, the Hair Chemist, the Hair Magician, the Hair Pro Homie does it again for me! I literally ended up waiting about 6 weeks to see Tony again to "touch up" my hair. What a complex project I ended up giving him showing up at his studio with more than an inch of roots grown in and a crazy mullet-looking hairstyle (growing out the pixie cut he originally cut for me). Tony ended up having to very meticulously process/lighten my roots and sectioned my hair in what seemed like 20 different parts in foil to ensure it lifts safely and correctly. I ended up telling him I don't want funky Millenial Mom hair anymore (cause all the basic level females around are doing it, and I'm not one to follow the masses). I told him I've always wanted to be this perfect darkish ash blonde color but no colorist has ever achieved it exactly the way I imagined. Of course Tony humbly said he'll give it a shot but no guarantees. BOOM! 3 hours later we're both pleasantly surprised by the technique and intelligent level of mixing Tony was able to accomplish. Trimmed my hair and styled it with precision as always. I was out the door within 4 hours total (mind you, most other colorists I've been with throughout the years would typically have me sitting in the chair for 6-8 hours and wouldn't ever reach this level of lightness in color). Not to mention, Tony also cuts hair extremely well. If I didn't color my hair, I would still have Tony cut my hair. Best around and so glad I have him in my life now.
Would definitely recommend Tony as a hair stylist! He is so thoughtful and hardworking that even with a recent arm injury, he did everything he could to make sure my hair was perfect. He is so detailed and uses great products so that your hair is as healthy as it can be. I can tell he is very experienced with his keen eye and ability to blend colors!
I think I've found my go-to hairstylist! Tony is not only warm and personable, but it's clear he's truly passionate and highly skilled when it comes to hair coloring and styling. He's also a perfectionist in the best way. I came in to fix some old highlights done elsewhere, and although we toned it, the initial color still came out a bit too bright. Without hesitation, Tony said, "I'm not 100% happy with the color, I'm not going to let you go home like this." He did another round of toning, and the result was absolutely beautiful. He finished it off with soft beach waves, and it turned out better than I imagined. 10/10 recommend!
I don't really write reviews, but I wanted to this time to share that Tony is one of the best, especially for coloring; if you're debating a visit with him, you should go for it! Tony was very accommodating to fit me into his schedule on short notice for a color correction. I had a terrible session at an Asian salon in the area that left my hair *extremely* frizzy (I couldn't even run my fingers through without breakage) with brassy/streaky highlights the week before. With Tony, he explained each step thoroughly and used quality products like Olaplex to completely transform my hair without any chopping. Tony is a kind and funny professional who can really work some hair magic. He deeply values the quality of his work; he'll ensure you're thrilled with the results and send you home knowing how to maintain the look too!

I'm really happy with this cut and color from Tony! What I wanted: to blend my greys with some dark and light brown (my natural hair is pretty much black) and to have my hair be low maintenance afterwards. To lighten my hair, Tony used the color melting technique rather than bleach. The consult and process took about 5 hours total. Tony is really knowledgeable with color, is confident with his work, and gives his honest opinion. The results are subtle (just the way I wanted it), and now my hair looks like it has so much dimension in the sun! read more

I got refer to Tony by my best friend as she did her red hair color correction with Tony and man he did a hella job to her hair. I decided to text Tony last month and sent picture of my hair and the hair color I wanted. He said it'll take him 5 hours and I said fine let's do it. I came in today with my 3 inch black root and mixed of silver and yellow brassy, damaged, breakage on my hair. He was like wth happened to your hair and who did it. So he started by bleaching my roots very gently and he told me about all the techniques and products he use. He's a funny and nice man so the whole process didn't feel that long. I was finished in 4 hrs with hair cut and the anti aging treatment. He forgot to take a pic of my before hair but here let me post the pic I sent him when I was trying to get a quote. Thank you Tony! Tony is a magician! Found him by a quick google search based on hair colorists near me and found Tony was a few mins from me with incredible reviews! I'm so glad I made the decision to finally reach out for help with my dull sad lifeless hair because in 6 hours of Tony's master skill and undivided attention (and a truckload of foils) he brought my hair back to life and better than ever! Call Tony now if you're thinking about making any changes to your hair !! HE IS SIMPLY THE BEST. I showed him a reference pic and in the picture the girl had ashy blonde highlights. I didn't think he was able to achieve the color I wanted because my hair is so dark, but he lifted my hair to the exact color that was shown in the picture. I've had bad experiences in the past where my previous stylists would basically fry my hair because they used so much bleach. My hair would turn out brassy and I needed more than one session to achieve the color I wanted. But with Tony, he was able to get my hair super light without ruining the integrity of my hair. If anything my hair feels healthier than ever. It's been about a month and I've gotten so many compliments on my hair! He was even kind enough to fix my roots about a couple weeks after. I have found my new hair guy. This is my second time coming to Tony. But I got to say he is very busy. You need to book an appointment ahead of time. Do not show up he will not take you. appointments only. He is a true professional stylist and colorist. He is passionate about your hair care. Has high end products going into your hair. Tony is absolutely amazing at hair color. I've been to many salons around the area and once I found Tony, I never turned back. He's great for Poly color and balayage. I also get my haircut here occasionally. He really cares about hair and to make sure you look great. He also tells you about products to make sure your hair stays healthy and looks good, but isn't forceful to make you buy any products. In one occasion, I had my hair recolor for wedding two weeks in advance, but Tony wanted to make sure I looked perfect and that the color was at its prime he called and told me he suggest I do it a week before instead and rebooked me for an opening slot he had. Tony cares about his customers and is really personable as well. Can't recommend him enough. The salon itself is also clean and not messy, which I appreciated. You will need to book an appointment ahead of time as he does not take walk-ins. He is located in the Phenix Salon Suites in Westminster, CA. read more

I've gotten my hair done twice with Tony, The last time was in 2018 but then covid hit and etc etc. I tried to go to someone else in between but as you can see the hair color got extremely brassy. Tony works with you and your budget! He doesn't try to upsell you and is completely honest. I told him I couldn't go past a certain amount and he managed to fix my hair within my budget!! Tony treats you like a friend from the moment you walk in and offers you beverages during your appointment. You can tell he works really hard and genuinely cares about helping your results last as long as possible! read more

Found Tony on Yelp and called him for a consult. He spent 30 minutes talking with me about my hair and his plan for my change. I came back a few weeks later and had my highlights and cut with Tony. The process was about five hours and he was very meticulous. Every strand was coated and colored. My hair came out looking better than I anticipated. Very pleased with the results. And am looking forward to my second session with Tony!! read more
