Hands down the best Puerto Rican food I've ever had in Puerto Rico. I'm Puerto Rican and have eaten food from multiple family members and friends parents and honestly it's so hard to find food from restaurants that compare and wow the food here did justice. Great food just a short drive away from the Ritz Carlton where we are staying at. Read some of the reviews and the food did not disappoint. Arroz con gandule was amazing. Pork rib meat was falling off the bone. One thing I must say is I could see the grease floating at the bottom of the foam container where the meat was placed. Very greasy (I'm not complaining) which is why the meat was so tender, but I did feel a little overwhelmed after eating. Must've been from eating fried and greasy foods that are available everywhere in PR. Heartburn kicked in every night while eating in PR. This did not stop me from enjoying the foods! read more

Great cheap food! We got ribs, blood sausage, rice and beans, and amarillos and they were all pretty good. They also have quite the unexpected fancy bathroom. Be careful on how much you think you can eat, they do not do small portions! read more

No frills just good food got two different kinds of saugage and yellow rice. The price seemed reasonable would have tried other items my problem is I don't speak Spanish. My wife really like the rice I enjoyed the blood saugage had a great flavor. The other saigage had a great smokey taste. I thing I will say is it would have been helpful to have a menu posted. read more

Nothing like American BBQ, but great! The pork was tender, juicy, and superb. The chicken was just as good, if not better. We saw it while riding the A5 bus and found our way back when we rented a car. Not a long wait on a Friday evening. Other customers were very helpful when we asked "what is that?" Don't believe the hype, sorry this place didn't live up to the actual Yelp rating, and I love Yelp when out of town, so disappointed. Went at 10p on a Sun., parked at McD's next store and walked over. 2 lines, honestly think ones for locals, and other one tourists. Waited maybe 15min in line to order. Then I attempted to hand my phone to the order taker, with my order in Spanish. Young girl couldn't read spanish??? I attempted to get 1/2 rack of ribs, 1/2 chicken and a medium rice, and 1 cold beer. I finally thought she got my order thru some bad spanish from a app I was using. I got the cold beer (Presidente) which was ice cold! Then waited 25 min for food, which is the mystery, the food is ALL PRE-COOKED??? I then ended up with 3 pieces of chicken, 3 ribs, and 2 yucas/potatos for ...... $20+tax- so $22.... Not a good deal at all. Both chic/ribs were then tasty, but extremely fatty and greasy. The 2 yucas which came to $6 on receipt??? Were tasty but also dry without butter or topping. Best part of whole meal... Was $4 beer that was ice cold. I went there this past Sunday, January 18, 2015, while on vacation. Since this was my first time there, I asked for a menu and was told there's no menu. That was an immediate turn off for me but since a friend recommended the place I decided to stay and order. When it was my turn to order, the cashier didn't speak any English. I don't speak Spanish so this was another problem for me. The cashier asked the customer ahead of me to translate which he did.....barely. When I asked him what the price was, I never got a translation for that. Fortunately the bill came to $14.45 for my meal and my husband's which was good because you got a good portion and that price included our drinks too. The food was good but you are at a disadvantage if you're a tourist that doesn't speak Spanish. Some of the food items were unfamiliar to me and a menu or an English speaking person would have been helpful. I'm not sure why the person who told me there were no menus couldn't be more helpful. Bebo's BBQ was on the hit list for me and my fiancé's trip to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. We stopped here after a fun filled day of being at Isla Verde Beach, Casa Bacardi and El Yunque Rainforest. We were starving lol. I had the blood sausage, BBQ chicken and yucca covered with garlic and onions. My fiancé had the arroz con gandules and BBQ chicken. The blood sausage was OK...it was my first time trying it and I was warned that its an acquired taste. That chicken tho......woooooowwwwwww!!!!! That was some of the best chicken I have ever had and trust me I've ate a lot of chicken in my years on earth. Lol. The yucca was equally excellent. I'm Ghanaian so I've also ate a lot of yucca/cassava and Bebo's yucca ranks pretty high. I tried my fiancé's arroz con gandules and it was very good. The only thing that "went wrong" with this dinner was the long slow line to order and get the food but after tasting the food, I completely understood why these lines were long and I didn't even care anymore.
