Insanely fresh, HUGE donuts but I'm addicted to the Blueberry Fritters so it's all I get now. I've had the raspberry filled, the powered, the chocolate covered bacon, & the mini cannoli but the baseball size Blueberry Fritter for $3 is where it's at. Service is traditionally Amish. Kind. Friendly. Sweet, no pun intended. Becca's Bakery is a must-have when I go to Dutch Country Farmer's Market. Take my word for it.

Great find in a Dutch Farmers Market and it's run by the Amish who were amazing. Very friendly, great assortment of cakes, cookies, donuts, macaroons, pies popcorn all kinds of goodies! Too many to mention. Unfortunately I came here on a Saturday afternoon at 3 pm as they were closing. They were soooooo helpful even though I was still there at 3:15 pm. I did not get to scope out the whole place although I was going to visit some friends in New Hope PA and did not get to stop for my usual Italian treats so I stumbled on Becca's. I could not believe I was able to buy 8 hand made large donuts and 6 whoopee pies for only $16! This was a surprise and a steal. I would highly recommend checking them out. It's not fancy although what I tasked was phenomenal.

The carrot cake had no list of ingredients

I don't like to leave bad reviews but I can't say anything positive about these products. We bought half a carrot cake and a half apple cinnamon streusel cake today. They both looked very attractive but I should have read the ingredients. Soybean oil, soy flour and margarine are not ingredients I would willingly consume and certainly not what I expect in this kind of a market. Both cakes taste very artificial and like they had been refrigerated for a while. Very disappointing. Typically we buy from Sunrise Bakery in South Brunswick, another Pennsylvania Dutch market, so I was expecting a similar product. Lesson learned, not all baked products in PA Dutch markets are the same. I won't buy from this bakery again.

There's NOTHING like their apple fritters or their French crullers !!!! If you want truly savory doughnuts this is your place.

Ric, fresh coffee and blueberry fritters the size of softballs, not too sweet, nice combination of crispy and soft. Very tasty!

There was a line outside the door, but it moved quickly as they had a nice process put in place. The staff was friendly and accommodating as we were ordering. I will describe what I had below. Personal Rosemary Focaccia ($16) - This was very large. I had this with homemade pasta, and it did the job. It was very light and cooked appropriately. The rosemary was definitely tasted on the outer edges. Pistachio Chocolate Almond Croissant ($7.75) - This was solid. It was very flaky and buttery with plenty of the chocolate filling. The chocolate was smooth and not overly heavy. I was hoping for a little better balance with the pistachio but did not taste much even though it was clearly there. B&C Turkey Club ($19) - This sandwich had turkey, thick-cut bacon, mozzarella, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on their country bread. This was made to order. The sandwich was well constructed with great layers. There was just enough mayo where the sandwich was not overly wet or dry. Everything went together nicely, but the country bread was the key. Will I go back? No doubt.

But it's either closed or parking is impossible or the street is overrun with police. Or worse yet - all 3. Last week however, it was open, bumping with people, and there were available spaces. Federales were still patrolling but I was locked in on carbohydrate comfort and thus unbothered. I dipped in for a couple coffees and sweets. It was about 1030 and we were headed to lunch afterwards so I kept it simple. I really wanted the malted latte but called an audible at the last second for a Paloma refresher. I also grabbed a rye (!) chocolate chunk cookie and an apple cake muffin. If we weren't going to lunch I would have ordered the avocado toast. It sounded delicious and while I was there a customer got one and it looked incredible! I really liked the food here - it was understated. I feel like a lot of bakeries hit you with cloying sweetness because bakery but anyone can dump a bunch of sugar in something - AND I ADORE SUGAR. But the restraint shone here really allowed the flavors to shine through and the food didn't sit like bricks in our tums. Very lively space with ample seating inside and out - I'd really like to come back on a day I'm playing hooky from work. Which given the state of my mental health could be as early as tomorrow. They're closed on Mondays though so let me pull myself together ;)

Instead of choosing between the cinny sugar and raspberry just get both. The cupcakes didn't blow me away, so next time I'll just double up on those pop tarts and brownies and maybe try some other new things. I called when I was in Flemington NJ and called them because someone said there were two locations hoping to find them in Flemington. Anyone the person who told me there were two places was wrong. When I come to New Hope I usually bring cookies and pastries from Bensonhurst Brooklyn for my friends. Driving to New Hope was a last minute decision so a local bakery had to do. The person who answered the phone was bright, cheery, caring and made me want to drive 30 minutes to cry them. I arrived in New Hope, it's a small shop although everyone including the customer were very friendly. It seems like everything is baked right on premises, all natural and just tastes great. They have some unusual combinations of flavors and names that makes you want to try all the different cookies and pastries. As mentioned before, everyone was courteous, great pastries, cookies, and deserts. They bake everything fresh so if you wait until later in the day you may miss out on the great selection. I would highly recommend them and I'm sure they will not disappoint.
