Beck Design Works Bathroom Remodel Review Five Stars! Our family recently had the pleasure of working with Emanuel and Ivan of Beck Design for a complete main bedroom bathroom remodel, and we are beyond thrilled with the results. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of outstanding. Initial Consultation and Planning: From the very first consultation, Emanuel and Ivan of Beck Design displayed exceptional professionalism and expertise. They listened attentively to our vision and provided insightful suggestions that enhanced our initial ideas. They detailed the planning phase to ensured that every aspect of the remodel was meticulously thought out and helped us with everything from the layout to suggestions of fixtures, best brands, and places to find the best choice of materials. Quality of Work: The craftsmanship exhibited by the Beck Design team is truly impressive. Every detail, no matter how small, was executed with care, and if something did turn out not to our liking, they took great effort in making it perfect. The tiling is was expertly executed and flawless, (these guys are artists) the fixtures are perfectly aligned, and the overall finish is immaculate. It's evident that they take great pride and care in their work and strive for perfection in every project. They truly care about their customers and become part of the family. Timeliness and Communication: One of the most remarkable aspects of this remodel was the consistent and clear communication throughout the process. I was regularly updated on the progress, and any questions or concerns I had were promptly addressed. The project timeline was adhered to exactly as communicated, and the team ensured that everything was completed. Even making extra trips to the job site to insure everything was correctly finished and to our liking. Attention to Detail: The attention to detail is what sets Emanuel and Ivan apart. They went above and beyond to ensure that every element of the bathroom was not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. From the plumbing layout to custom cabinetry, title design, countertops and fixtures, every choice reflected their understanding of design and functionality. Customer Service: The level of customer service provided by Emanuel and Ivan was exceptional. The team was always courteous, respectful, and considerate of my home. They took great care to minimize disruption and kept the workspace clean and organized. Just to reiterate the appreciation we had for their clear and actuate communication. During the entire process, there was only one instance of unexpected timing when a worker arrived at an unindicated time; however, it was a moment of serendipity, as the worker was early, not late. Emanuel and Ivan apologized again and again for the misunderstanding, vowed it would happen again and it surely did not. They say what they mean and mean what they say, which is a rare find these days, especially in construction. The best of customer service! Final Result: The final result is nothing short of breathtaking. Our new bathroom is a luxurious, spa-like retreat that far exceeds our expectations. The transformation is stunning, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. The quality of workmanship and attention to detail have truly created a space that I will enjoy for years to come. We got our start in 2016 remodeling homes for real estate investors across the Atlanta and North Georgia market. Working closely with investment partners on flips, we learned the business from the ground up — sourcing materials, managing timelines, and coordinating trade crews on tight budgets. That hands-on experience gave us a front-row seat to every part of a renovation. As investors trusted us with larger projects, we took on more responsibility for scheduling, permitting, and quality control across multiple properties at once. That path led us naturally into general contracting — transitioning from remodeling for investors to managing full custom home builds and renovations directly for homeowners. We bring the same attention to detail and cost discipline from flipping houses to every project today. We were very unhappy with both the process and the results of our two-bathroom renovation. No…read moresupervisor was present to coordinate the crew or oversee the work, so we came home to find mistakes daily: they installed the wrong bead board, reinstalled the old medicine cabinet rather than the new one, didn't measure for wall switches, painted the windows shut, re-installed a clearly broken electrical outlet and didn't bother to sand, leaving rough edges as trim. Aside from the mistakes, the lack of supervision meant crews operated at unpredictable times without notice (nights, weekends) and were very disrespectful of our home. They used our bed as a staging area for drywall, stored hardware on our glass picture frames and used an electric saw on our couch to cut tile. They left a mess inside every day and piles of trash outside every evening. Despite repeated requests to clean up the construction debris, no one would pick it up and we had to take it to the landfill ourselves. Each crew blamed the other for the problems so I had to contact each crew to find out how to fix the other's problems. I wondered why we even hired a contractor if we had to do this ourselves. The bright spot was Taylor the plumber, who was prompt, friendly and detail-oriented. Otherwise, we were disappointed start to finish.
