Quick pop in before heading to dinner across the street. Loved the vibes here. I can see myself coming back for a happy hour! Just grabbed a beer but they had food. Will have to come back and try

I came here on a Saturday night to see what replaced Fool Me Once (we really loved that bar)! My friends and i only got two flavors of the buckets and both tasted great! However, i do feel as if they were quite weak. I wouldn't say i'm a heavyweight when it comes to drinking but these definitely should've been having me feel a little more tipsy from the size of the drink. i guess you can't expect much for such a big drink being $13. The cookie shot they have is pretty good but they kinda just taste like baileys The music was good and the decor was cute for a sports bar! They had fun things on the TV like professional tag and the olympics! We didn't try any of the food but they do have a deal where you can get $5 burgers & $5 buckets during happy hour!

My little cousin took me to one of his favorite spots in the city, he is into happy hours these days and he was raving about these buckets that Becketts have during happy hour so we went to go check it out. Becketts is a decent size, they have indoor and outdoor seating, they have patio and rooftop options.  Really dark inside, I wasn't a fan of the lighting so we took our food and drinks upstairs to the rooftop.  The weather was amazing so it was a good decision on our part. They have a hybrid system going on here, and what I mean by that is we ordered our drinks with the bartender and we had to order our food online.  I can see how this can be convenient for the establishment and efficient as a customer. I wish I remembered the bartender's name but she was very nice, didn't really give any suggestions when I asked for some but the experience overall was pleasant.  The menu is incredibly simple so we made our orders pretty quickly. The food was surprisingly good, like sneaky good. I did not expect much from a local bar but the food was delicious.  We had Korean BBQ wings and a smash burger. I have no clue what was in that smash burger but it is a must have, the wings were actually fire too. Smash burger was definitely the highlight, and as far as the buckets I had the John Daly.  The allure of the bucket is cool, but there's a pinch of liquor in there. It is just juice. But I mean for $5 dollars I kind of expected that, no way I would spend that much and think I'm gonna get wasted lol.

Best broncos bar in Minneapolis, probably Minnesota. It's good luck to a cause calamity and watch the game at Beckett's.

Went here for happy hour which is $5 for burgers beers and buckets and it was a really good deal for a solid burger and a pretty large drink. The drinks aren't super boozy but they have around 5 fun flavors to choose from. The tables are kind of skinny so if you're here with a large group it might get a little cramped. There are a lot of tvs playing different games so you can watch sports from almost any seat. You order food off an app and you pick it up from a counter so there isn't a ton of table service besides the occasional worker clearing cups during happy hour.

This place is super dope! Very fun, energetic, and vibe(y). Fun small location in Uptown with awesome drinks, decent food, and good music. Bartenders and visitors are all great. - Anthony

Great vibes for the wolves. Great bar food. Love the atmosphere ! Will come back !! Love

"Great food at even better prices! The Bloody Mary was delicious and full of flavor, all at a great value. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for an authentic sports bar vibe with fantastic music and an impressive sound system, this is the place to be. The music is actually what drew us in!"

This place does get busy so definitely keep that in mind. Luckily I made reservations ahead of time so we had a table waiting for us, otherwise we would have been put on a waiting list since it's a small space. They put us in a corner booth which was nice and spacious enough for 4 people so I'd definitely recommend asking for a booth verse a table if you're planning to come with a larger group. The servers are all very friendly and helpful. I appreciated their attentiveness and sharing what they like best, especially for what's in season based on the time of year. The menu has quite a bit of variety too which is sometimes unexpected when you come to a pub-style location. For appetizers we got Onion Ring and Fried Pickles. They were both really good and served with dipping sauces. Definitely both shareable items so if you're in a group they'd be great options! My entree I chose the Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon served with lemon soy marinade, creamy cucumbers, and jasmine rice -- it was SO good!! I loved the creaminess of the cucumbers especially with the rice and than the lemon soy marinade was just a unique touch to the salmon. Toned the flavors down without overpowering acidity. And the salmon was so dreamy, a beautiful pink color that you just knew it wasn't a farm raised salmon. Plus the portion was very generous!! I'd definitely recommend the Alaskan Sockeye Salmon to anyone interested in visiting here. #eatwildsavewild The only negatives (which are more so just knowledge bombs for you): * Restaurant is VERY loud. It's hard to hear because it is one small room that everyone plus the bar is in. I wished I would have took a picture to show what I mean. Just know that if it's an intimate setting you're looking for this is not the place. So be prepared to talk loudly over the loudness and ask "excuse me?" or "repeat that" many times throughout your visit because you're not going to hear everything. * Timed eating. Because this place is a hit with limited seating, once you get a table and complete your meal/payment you'll kindly be asked to leave so that they can clean up and open the table to next in line. Totally get that and am not put off by this at all, but I could see how it could catch some folks off guard especially if you are out for a meal with folks you may not see frequently-- so just keep that in mind. This is not the place to sit and talk post meal. * Parking is limited. Be prepared to walk a few blocks as the road parking in front of the business is pretty limited especially with the other stores and restaurants in the area. Regardless of those few bullets I highly recommend folks visit George & The Dragon. It's a really cool spot and the food was great! Plus theirs a malt shop right next door that looks yummy too, so definitely worth visiting and getting malts after for dessert.

They have old 80s wrestling playing on the televisions, which took me back to my childhood. The place is full of retro video games, pinball machines, skeeball, and there are a couple of video game consoles. The place has very nice, attentive bar staff. They serve some 80s-themed signature cocktails, such as the TMN Tea, Mike Tyson's Drunk Out, Macha Man Randy Savage and the People's Margarita, and have a huge assortment of tap beer. I tried both and they were really good. The cocktails are stiff and savory. Be careful when ordering some beer, though; some of them are THC-infused. Drinking those may get you in trouble at certain jobs. I got the Princess Peach Punch and Raspberry Cider tap beer. The place has a mixed crowd, age-wise. There were 21-year-olds to 60-year-olds. It was a pretty low-key spot that has specials every night. They have limited food options that feature pizza. There weren't many people there while I was there, but it was still a really fun place. I enjoyed my time there. I recommend checking this spot out.

In fact a neighbor across from the patio was literally painting his white picket fence! So, it's a unique setup for a mpls brewery taproom from the start. I walked in and was assaulted by a sickeningly sweet smell. Not sure if that's them brewing up their beet beer (beet beer--WHY?!) We both ordered the Saison. It had decent belgian notes but it was half-flat and a little sweet for my taste. It's nice they have a patio but it's beset by constant traffic from 44th St on one side and a parking lot with porta pottys on the other. Not exactly getting any fresh air. Moreover, the seating at picnic tables and high tops with cheap un-cushioned bar stools felt pretty half assed but that went along with the overall theme. They allow outside food and had a food truck operating when we went there which was a plus. Ultimately neither one of us were thrilled with our first tap so we bailed. Can't speak on the entire tap line but unlikely we will come back unless our friends ask us to. So almost nearly there in every respect but not quite. 3.75/5 rounding up to 4.
