    Food. Finally got my fries.
    Billy M.

I love BDubs. I went there for the playoff Wolves game (awwoooo) with some friends, and it was a horrible experience. First, we waited forever to get our drinks, then the man brought us two lemon slices, for a group of four. We asked for more and he brought out just two more with his BARE HANDS. He did this again later in the night! Gross. When we got our food, we didn't have any silverware or napkins, which is problematic for boneless wings. We asked someone else because our waiter wasn't nearby, and she never got around to it. We finally asked our waiter and he brought us some, just as our food was getting cold. I also didn't get my fries for 54 minutes. That's right. I reminded the man four times and finally I got the fries. How do you mess that up? We also had to ask for water refills twice, the man never took initiative to give us some, which should be baseline for being a waiter. My mouth was burning hot on some hot dry rub and I had to go into the bathroom and drink sink water to cool down! I now get why I see customers go in the back and fill up their own drink. The only saving grace is that the food was good (not hot, though), and that the Wolves won. Even though BDubs may fail me, Rudy Gobert never will.

Extra crispy with no sauce ?!

Continue to get F'd every time I attempt to pick up To go orders at this place! Ruined my night. Fail 1. Waited 37min for food Fail 2. Ordered sauce on the side and extra crispy and they come out F'ing Drenched. What's the point of extra crispy if they are soggy as shit from all the sauce. Fail 3. Order blue cheese and end up with Ranch. Fail 4. Fries are rubber! Total shit Fail 5. Walk inside and the floor feels like it was mopped with butter! Get a new Mop! Market leaders should be proud of this place

The service is definitely a highlight of our visit here. Our server was extremely nice and helpful, making sure we were taken care of the entire time. The food came out really fast, which added to the overall positive experience in regards to service. The wings, however, were a bit of a mixed bag. While they were more or less standard/decent wings, a few of them were a little cold and some were on the chewy side. Most of the wings were warm and impressively large, which was a plus. All in all, it's a solid spot for quick service and decent wings from a large chain restaurant, but the inconsistency in quality kept it from being a great experience.

I'm calling these guys out as mediocre - 2 stars. My first (and my last) visit to this location was a few days ago. I met someone that works nearby until 10:30 pm. So we got to the restaurant late. There were hardly any customers. SEATING: The service mostly sucked. I walked in and stood by the "please wait to be seated" sign for a long time. I was standing there so long, I actually started the timer on my phone. Despite numerous servers walking past me in & out of the dining room, my timer reached 13 minutes before I finally got angry, I walked in the bar, and I asked the bartender where to sit. Keep in mind, I had already been waiting when I got pissed enough to start my timer. WAIT TIMES: Why didn't the servers tell someone that a customer was waiting? Where was the person at the order pickup area (I saw her later). And where was the hostess...or whatever the title is. Again, I saw her come out of the kitchen later. By the way, once we were at a table, we watched other customers stand around up front and wait to be seated. I saw one decent sized party wait a long time and then walk out. The fiasco was actually somewhat entertaining as we were waiting for our wings. CRAZY PEOPLE: No sooner did we order than a mentally ill woman walked in (no one was in front to stop her), she locked her attention onto us at our high-top in the bar, she started rambling & babbling something at us, then she started to gesticulate and flail her arms, then she started yelling at us, then she started to give us the middle finger and flip the bird. We didn't say anything. We just watched the weirdo in astonishment. She finally walked back towards the entryway and the hostess lady finally appeared and said something and the trespasser left. Why didn't the hostess notice the abuse and save us? And how about the bartender? He was 30 feet away and he didn't lift a finger or say a word - why? Where is the customer service in this place???!!! FOOD: So...onto the food. We both got wings. Since I'm a low carb eater, I went with basic bone-in wings with salt & vinegar. I was thrilled to discover that they're fried in tallow and not seed oils. (I didn't know this until that night.) But the wings were dry as hell. Fails all the way around. PROBLEMS: So many problems that are easily fixed. I don't get it. Obviously, there's a management issue at this location. Bummer. It doesn't need to be like this. Disappointed...I won't be back. -Maxx

We stopped here for lunch today. We were pleasantly surprised with the good service and speed of getting our whole order. The last time we went to BBW, not this location, we sat for a very long time waiting for our food and only receiving half our order. So we thank you for a great experience today. Also the wings and crispy potato wedges were very good!! We'll be back!!

    Don't waste your time here.

Aguavarita: This was a Gose that had agave and guava added which gave it a nice balance. The tartness from the core Gose sour style leveraged the sweetness of the agave / guava to taste nearly like a margarita. Hazebiscus: An extremely fruity and juicy Double Dry Hopped IPA. The use of this year's Pink Boots Blend (HBC 630, Idaho Gem, Loral, Talus, and Triumph) gave off raspberry and red currant on the aroma with a huge blast of grapefruit, citrus, and raspberry on the flavor. A medium hop bitterness rose in the finish. Very enjoyable DDH IPA in addition to $3 per pound of the hop blend donated to the Pink Boots Society scholarship fund (which High Pines used 44 pounds) Home Improvements: A black lager with sales being donated to Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. Medium-thin body with a lot of roastiness for a lager. Pitch black, bitter, and refreshing. Beyond the roastiness, there are medium-low dark chocolate and roasted coffee beans on both the aroma and the flavor. Still refreshing on the warmer summer days.

The space is quite large with open seating - something I'd expect is great for a large group. I asked if we could combine some tables and the staff said they'd do it for us. We ended up having a table for 8. While more people in my group showed up than expected, we ended up adding a few more chairs. With the open seating and lots of tables available, we thought it would be fine. However, the staff didn't seem to be too happy with us. Our group had not gotten together in a while, so a couple of us had switched chairs to talk with different people. The server said in a very rude way, "You guys need to stop switching seats. I can't keep track of your orders and you want this on separate checks, right?" We had never asked for separate checks and I would have offered to pay on one check if it made it easier, but she left right after saying that. Towards the end of our stay, after paying and enjoying some last minute shakes (around 9:15pm, they close at 10), the same server started putting away the metal chairs VERY loudly and carelessly while we were still finishing up. We all watched her throw the chairs on top of each other as we stayed silent because we couldn't hear each other over her stacking them. We took the hint and left. Everyone inside the restaurant followed after. I assume because they, too, felt awkward as she was loudly cleaning up. The food was mid at best, the beer selection and unique combinations are great, but the bad service made the experience miserable. I didn't notice the server treating any other guests as bad as our table, so I am just not sure why she treated us the way she did. I definitely won't be back.

Food 4/5: the green beans were light and crispy. The ranch was my favorite dipping sauce but the other sweet and sour sauce was also an interesting (positive salty sweet) compliment. The poutine was very heavy overall. The complement of the curds with the gravy and meat was good, but could be a meal in itself. The kids got the pizza and a burger, both portion sizes very large. The fries were very crispy! I got the power bowl. The lettuce was soaked in dressing, which the dressing had good flavor it was just too much. I would get it again but ask for dressing on the side. Service 5/5: our waitress was quick and attentive. Ambiance 5/5: we sat in a booth which gave us nice partitions from the people on both sides of us. Overall a great option if you're in the area!

From the hostess who graciously held the doors open for us in the 95° heat to our incredible server, David, everything was outstanding. We started with cocktails. I had what may have been the best bourbon Old Fashioned I've ever tasted, and my wife enjoyed a wonderfully refreshing cocktail (whose name I, unfortunately, can't remember). We began our meal with the roasted Brussels sprouts. Normally, I'm not much of a Brussels sprouts fan, but I happily cleaned the plate. My wife and I shared the 12-ounce filet mignon, cooked medium rare, and it was absolute perfection. Chef's kiss. David recommended a bottle of wine to pair with our steak. It wasn't inexpensive, but it was worth every penny. But wait... there's more. As incredible as that wine was with the filet, it somehow paired even better (yes, I know that sounds impossible) with the slice of heaven they call chocolate cake. I'm sure it has a much fancier name on the menu, but "slice of heaven" seems more accurate. If you've read my other reviews, you know I have a tendency toward hyperbole. If there were ever a time to lean into it, this is it. THIS MEAL WAS FANTASTIC. THE AMBIANCE WAS PERFECT. THE FOOD WAS EXCEPTIONAL. AND THE COMPANY WAS DIVINE. We will absolutely be back--and when we do, we'll be asking for a table in David's section. (He works Tuesday through Friday.)

I started with the tequila and mezcal Old Fashioned, and it was fantastic. It was well-balanced, beautifully presented, and garnished perfectly. The food was equally impressive. The wings were delicious--crispy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. My only small note would be that the celery was a little limp. The Caesar salad has officially been added to my regular rotation. The jammy egg was cooked perfectly with a rich, yolky center that was still easy to slice. The Parmesan crisps were thoughtfully sized, adding great texture without being so large they scraped the roof of your mouth. The salad was evenly dressed, making every bite flavorful. Overall, excellent food, outstanding cocktails, and warm, attentive service. I'll definitely be back.
