We just had Quinton out to pump our tank after what we were told was the maximum years between…read morehaving our tank pumped. As a quick background, this is the first home I have ever had that was not on city sewer, so I have no experience with septic systems. We have lived in this home for 3 years, and were just doing what we were told was the time period to have it pumped. Well... Quinton came out and got things set up and opened the lids of the tank. As we were making small talk about things and I was asking questions, he asked me, "do you really want me to pump your tank?" I asked him why he asked me the question. His response was that it was obvious that it didn't need pumping and wasn't really even close to needing it. I replied that it is likely that we would be selling the house next year anyways, so it would be a good thing to have on the listing that it was just serviced in October. His response was that it is required that he come out and do that within 90 days of closing anyways. After conversing and thinking about it, I decided that it wouldn't be the best use of money to do this twice within less than a year. I thanked him for his integrity and even though he will likely get paid for fewer hours today than he was planning on, he walks away with integrity and a repeat customer. One other piece of this, is that I was so anxious to make sure I paid for the service, I called and processed the credit card before Quinton got set up to completely open the lids. So, I paid for the pumping. He said that it wasn't a problem and we could just delay the processing of the charge, or put a credit on our account so that when we did sell and needed to have the tank pumped, it would be credited. I am super grateful to your team at Gobers and to Quinton. That guy deserves some serious kudos for his ethics and friendliness. He is a valuable asset to your team. Thanks!

I will not use American Septic and Pumping again. My husband and I were in the middle of…read morepurchasing a home and American was the company paid for the septic inspection. American said access to the septic well would be better if risers were installed. I asked about the price and they quoted $500. I said, "okay" to acknowledge the price but he never gave me a written quote, or asked my phone number or even my name. American owner proceeded to be on his phone half the time while I and the current home owner tried to ask him questions about the septic system. We came back to the home for a final walk through a week later to find American doing the work in the backyard, unexpected by me and the home owner. When I approached him that I hadn't asked him to do the work, nor expected him to be there (yes, I now acknowledge the misunderstanding of the word "okay"), he proceeded to call me a B*^%H and it was lucky my husband stepped in. We agreed to pay him for the work that his worker had done. The work was done in August, and we received an initial invoice in March. Yes, 7 months later. The bill even had an incorrect address listed for my husband and I. They never contacted me to let me know he was doing the work, and he was doing work on a property that I had no authority on because I didn't own it. Furthermore, after they completed the work, we smelled sewage odors every time we were in our backyard. My husband had to file down the risers where they had cut them unevenly so that the covers would fit snuggly and not emit septic odors. Bad customer service, bad communication, rude, and unfortunate workmanship. DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY.

I will start back in May after my dear friend passed away and we became owner of her property…read more After she passed we went to Inland Power and it's been one big mess ever since. I went to Inland Power gave them all the documents they need to allow us to make changes to the power at her house. She had two meters at her house one to the resident and one t a shop that hadn't been in use for several years. We ask for them to discontinue the power to the shop. The counter girl said they couldn't stop the power to a resident and it took us several visits to get them to understand we didn't want to stop the power to the house just to the shop which hadn't been in use for years. I payed the last bill for the shop and told them to come get their meter. I then ask to have the house put on Auto pay. Simple right well not for inland power. Third visit to Inland power I ask to talk to supervisor Went through the entire story again. Told we didn't want the meter or power to the shop just the house and I wanted the house on Auto pay just like we have had on our house for years and mine you we have been with Inland power for about 40 years. End of story of course not, the following month we get a bill for the shop and the house isn't on Auto pay so I make another trip back to Inland Power and ask to talk to a manager and she say we never ask to have the shop meter retired. I said this is the first time I even heard the word retired so I tell her retire the shop come get your pole and meter. I tell her I want the house on Auto Pay like our house is and had and years. The story just goes on I decided to check our home uses for the month of August and what do I find is a delinquent notice on our house and my friends house. Inland took our house off of Auto pay without contacting us and after being on auto pay for years and never being late on a payment in almost 40 years.Of course they don't work on Fridays so now I will to continue trying to find someone at Inland Power that knows what they are doing.
