Don't buy a trailer here. 1 month after I bought a brand new Big TEx trailer it was full of rust. Over 35 spots of rust everywhere. I called for the paint warranty which is supposedly good for 90 days. Their fix was to mail me 2 cans of spray paint and never communicate again. I've told them how disappointing and terrible that warranty is but they don't care. Once they make the sale they don't care about any problems you have. Now I have to take my time to prep and repair and repaint all the rust spots on my brand new trailer. read more

I drove in today from 2 hours away to buy 2 new trailers and was treated like total shit by the service/ parts manager and it ended up costing the company the sales of the trailers along with the parts and accessories I was buying so around $20,000.00. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars with becks in the past but after the way I was treated today I'll never buy from them again and will never recommend another person to buy from here either. These people are the worst. Bought a NEW car hauling trailer used it maybe 10 times over five year period. The front axle was installed crooked and caused the tire to wear out. The other three tires looked fine. The Beck's service manager (Naz) took zero responsibility for anything. Quoted me $109.00 per hr. to fix this manufacturer defect. This NEW trailer was doomed from the day I drove off with it. Beck's service manager Naz never replied to any of my three e-mails or bothered to phone the body shop manager who repaired the defect. Let the buyer beware when dealing with this company. They take no responsibility for anything. Every issue is always the customer's fault. Naz even told me on the phone he was doing me a favor when his service tech took 5 minutes to look at the trailer axle as he quoted me a two week wait, a possible new axle, plus Beck's $109.00 per hr. labor rate to fix the new trailer they sold me. I had a local Charlotte, MI body shop fix the trailer for $200.00 and found no damage caused by the user rather a defect in manufacturing! Very dissatisfied David read more

Terrible service. Emailed them twice trying to get a quote. Never got one. Drove an hour there to meet with a rude salesman who was not prepared for my visit. We stumbled around the yard looking for trailers that either did not meet my requirements or didn't exist. When he quoted me a price far higher than what he had implied it would be I got up to leave. At this point he called me an ass! Follow this up with rude emails afterwards for a well rounded bad experience. Even IF they had better prices I would steer clear. The salesman are not much different than car salesman. After driving by here for years decided to stop with intention to buy a trailer. After only being there a half hour I learned twice what the salesman doesn't do or normally do on Saturday's. I questioned a big run in the powder coat on a trailer and the salesman told me "you'll have that" but it doesn't affect how it holds up. If I'm paying for a new trailer, I'm not buying one that is possibly poorly put together or finished. I'm not settling for "you'll have that" and deal with it. It looks like they have quality trailers, but I was not able to get one at the prices they were advertising. The sales guy I was working with seemed shady. He was saying things like "we can get you into this trailer for this price, but you have to buy by the end of the day." Then they tried adding $500 in other fees after the quoted price. After the experience I had the first day of trying to work with them, I decided they were too "shady sales guy" for me. I recently purchased a Griffin 8x14 dump trailer at Becks. The experience of buying it was just fine. The problems arose after I finally started using the trailer. My first load with it was hauling firewood. As I opened the rear gates I noticed the passenger side gate did not line up with the hole for the peg to keep it in the open position. Since it seemed pretty tight I assumed it must not be that big a deal and it would stay full open, wrong. Since I was in the driver side operating the remotes did not see the gate go down and subsequently get bent. I managed to bend it back enough to close it but now it needs welding. The very next day I loaded it with shingles and then took it to the dump. Now again passenger side but instead of the gate the ramp this time either was never properly pinned in place or the cheap Chinese hardware broke and the ramp fell off. Unfortunately I did not see where, I can only assume in the dump since I backtracked the roads I took looking for it. Also the nut holding the crank for the tarp is already broken. On the positive side the trailer does tow nicely and so far is dumping good, but I can only wonder and worry what is next. When I contacted Becks/Brian Balcom they were very slow to respond and then when they finally did it was basically "too bad for you. ". He offered 10% off another ramp that they never properly installed in the first place. So I will take my business elsewhere in the future. I would suggest if any of you do decide to buy from them that you make sure to go over your trailer with a fine tooth comb, they absolutely will not back their products. Thanks read more

Had my trailer for warranty work for 31 days and could not complete a repair of a seam that was coming loose, less than a foot needed to be repaired! The service person was extremely arrogant and told me I just had to wait my turn and I could take it anywhere else I wanted to. Won't go into all the detail but took 6 weeks before it was fixed and was charged, they wouldn't warranty the damage. They don't call you back. They don't answer phone. Well I think the sailes man plays a huge part in your experience here, I first talked to Matt and frankly he SUCKED!!!! High pressure sailes tactics bait and switch just a lot of BS and I dont tolerate this at all...... BUYER BEWARE!!!!! I would suggest you buy a trailer from anywhere but here. My experience working with them was terrible. They are unethical, unprofessional and untrustworthy. The salesman knew I was in a position where I needed a trailer immediately so he made little attempt to even work for the sale. He gave me one price on emails to get me to come in for the buy and then jacked the price up $100, and then told me that no spare comes with their supposed "high end" trailers it so I had to buy one on top of that. They conveniently did not have any steel spares available which meant I had to buy the aluminum rimmed tire which was 1 1/2 times the cost. I had to wait at yet another payment counter while the clerk chewed on his lunch to process the additional $235 payment. The sales person made no attempt to prep the trailer and had no idea where to find the other trailer on the lot that we discussed for me to look at. When I reviewed the one trailer and I opened the door the rear seal fell on my head, the trailer had bird droppings in several spots, bad trim work on the side entry door and a bent jack that wouldn't crank up all the way and had to be exchanged out before I could even drive it off the lot. The visit took more than 4 hours. The paperwork alone was over an hour. I sat there the whole time with not even an offer for a coffee, water, etc. After I signed the paperwork and he quickly took my check he then told me I could not get a plate and title for the trailer even though he knew I needed to use it in two days. I had asked up front before I drove the 3 hours to get there what their payment methods were and he suggested a check - which I brought. They verified the funds availability up front (which was fine) and then they attached all kinds of conditions to the payment. The check cleared my bank in less than 48 hours but my title and transfer paperwork took more than 15 days to arrive. When I realized they overcharged me on the purchase price that evening I contacted the sales person and he gave me some run around about steel prices even though I had all our conversations including pricing documented in emails. He dodged calls and made excuses about having to talk to his sales manager who was never available. Finally after 3 more calls directly to the store I was able to finally speak with the sales manager (who never returned any of my voice messages) who stated how he prided himself on customer service. He made promises to talk to the sales person as he had to "get his side of the story" and get back with me. I offered to send him the emails and he said he had them but of course his sales person happened to be "off work" that day...Really?? That was more than two weeks ago. Crickets...never heard back from the prideful Sales Manager nor the salesperson. These people are cheats and scam artists...I only hope after reading some of these other reviews that my trailer doesn't have any more issues than that which I already experienced. My recommendation - do not buy from here unless you like being cheated, overcharged, lied to and disappointed. read more

Bought a Load Trail Trailer on 3/23/2019. Went on their web site to get a quote on a steel deck trailer and Austin Hiebert contacted me and gave me a decent price. Got there to finish the deal and pick the trailer up and it was a wooden deck one. I told him this is not what I wanted. He claims it was the one I got the quote on. I believed him at that time until I went back the next day and looked at what I sent him and it was the one for the steel deck. Got looking at prices that I was charged for the wood deck one and I was totally ripped off after they added all the hidden cost. I really believe they are running a scam. My own fault for trusting a salesman. Please believe me you can get a lot better prices from other trailer sales. read more

Be wary! These people are not trustworthy. We came to Beck's to resolve a travel trailer tire wear issue. Diagnosis took 2 days longer than promised with no contact from them. We were called only for approval and to pay up front for them to order a Dexter axle. We gave cc info and approval. When we picked up the trailer an axle called Dura-tec with Axle tech (made in China) hub and drums had been installed without our knowledge. When pressed, Beck's agreed to install the promised axle, but said it would take 3-4 weeks to get it. A quick call to an axle repair facility showed that the axle could be had in a few days. Beck's paid for the Dexter axle and we chose to have it installed at a different business. Altogether a completely dissatisfactory experience. read more

Terrible service. Sales guy didn't give us our paper work ..when the trailer came in...it wasn't what we ordered. They tried to push us into a trailer we didn't order. We decided not to go with them at all for a trailer and asked for a refund ...the sales person Scott ..was curt on the phone when getting the info to process our CC refund. Snippy and rude at best. Beck's has the absolute worst customer service ever. They are great at selling a trailer and getting cash in hand, after that good luck getting questions answered, warranty service or even a thank you after the purchase is done. I have called seven times waiting 12 days leaving several messages and still no help, answer or resolution to a broken handle on my trailer door. I'm beyond furious and contacting BBB to file a complaint. I bought a trailer from these guys, the trailer is exactly what I wanted. I drove 3 hours one way, waited for the salesman that was a half an hour late (no big deal right?) we hooked the trailer up before any paper work was signed because the salesman was behind schedule. The paper work came, I was quoted on the phone a good price, then at the signing the price was 700.00 more. "Because the salesman forgot a couple of charges" I was upset but still bought the trailer. A month later I get a paper in the mail where they enrolled me into a GAP insurance program costing 600.00, I was never told, or asked for this. I urge you to pay close attention to these actions if you consider purchasing a trailer from these guys. read more

It appears that this is also Beck's Propane and Marine. Steer away if you need propane services. For years I've been informing the company that they are leaking oil from their delivery trucks on my cement driveway. Finally, I decided to change companies. The day Becks picked up their tank from my property, they leaked oil from the truck all over again with no attempt to clean up the oil. Last year a school organization, where I am a volunteer, was seeking a trailer for Booster use. The salesperson was so rude, we sought another purchasing venue. Steer clear of Becks. They knew I was desperate for an enclosed trailer, and set a perfect trap when I drove up there, ( 4 hours ) to look at the trailer...... I was Promised Radial tires.... NOPE,... tires & WHEELS are made in china ! !..... I only had 1500lbs in the trailer & two tires blew out before I got to Florida.... The actual China made wheels vibrated so bad that I had to replace them all !.....The Drum that the rear door assist cable rides on rubbed a HOLE in the roof, so I had to properly adjust that shaft & patch the roof !... Just shy of miserable. A classic case of over promise and under deliver. I was interested in a trailer that was advertised on Craigslist. I was quoted an inviting price over the phone. After an almost 2 hour drive to get there, the story changed drastically. Not only was the trailer not what they promised, the price was much higher. They had no explanation for the change in price even though the sales person I dealt with was the same one I talked to on the phone. I should have put more stock in the bad reviews I read about them. Warning. Even if you get a quote they will try and slip a price over a thousand higher past you. Then try and act like it is a big favor that they met the price they quoted. Bought a brand new big tex gooseneck trailer in February of 2018 and in November of 18 trailer paint was rusting and chipping away. Have tried contacting about help or warranty's on paint and all I received was from big Tex has a 3 month warranty on paint. Becks doesn't want anything to do with it and won't help at all. Won't return any calls or even talk to me about it anymore. For as much as I paid for a brand new trailer and only pulled it in the salt a handful of times and washed same day to prevent rusting and keep it looking nice and now I have a nasty looking trailer that I will still owe on for another 4 years and by then there will be nothing left for paint. I know I'm not the only customer with this problem because my dad has a dump trailer he bought from there in 2014 and the fenders are completely rusted out and the door rusted so much it fell off. The same year we bought a cattle trailer from DR trailer sales and it still looks brand new and pulled about the same amount of time in winters. I feel becks trailers are cheaply painted and that's why they advertise to sell so cheap and will beat other stores prices. You can go look at there trailer on the lot right now and they paint will already have surface rust on them. My point is if you want your trailer to look new for years to come. Don't buy from becks. If u want a cheap trailer and it to look like complete crap in a year. Buy one from becks. read more

Went to buy pontoon trailer,A sisser lift was showen with a tandem axle. after signng papers they pull around with a single axle trailer with a scratch on it and was a 2012 trailer. I paid for a new (2013) I would think it would be new. Been sick about the whole deal. read more

I recently purchased a brand new dump trailer from Beck's. The following day, after not using it all outside of pulling it home, a latch on the outside of the battery box broke. I contacted Beck's to see if they would replace the part (which was only $16) but they continually dodged my calls. Finally they said that there wasn't anything they can do, it wasn't their problem because it wasn't broken when the trailer left the lot. Paid for trailer in full ...12 ft dump..first ride to my home the lid to battery does not and will not stay closed..... great ...only snow day we have it fills my battery box full... oh well ill fix ... lock that box for first time ...locking mechanism broke ...had to drill lock out...first time used..oh well ill fix it ....now I'm in 3 hours from home on site removing concrete ...full trailer of debris. ..get to yard to dump load. ..no good again ...dump trailer battery is dead and I keep blowing 20 amp fuse...this is not oh well....this is crap....so I call scott baker..sales man ....nice man sure but did he help my issue.... nope ...pushed me to a voice mail...does or did he call to check in ever or after on his paying and possible return buyer. .. did anyone call me after leaving messages on there phone ... nope again ...did scott call me back after I had called and asked for another trail and price to buy ...big fat nope again ....is my trailer still broke and do I have to take to someone local for me to get fixed and pay for it ... unfortunately yes ....will I be buying two more trailers before spring ...yep...did I peel of there becks sticker ftom my trailer and do i tell anyone and everyone how unhappy I am with becks...??
