They give you an experience! Becky and Amy are two of the most talented and kind people I've ever met! It was such a comfort to me to have the expertise of these two to work on my wedding dress. I was super nervous when selecting an alterations shop considering the purchase of a wedding dress is a huge expense. I was immediately relieved once Becky began explaining the process and mentioned aspects of my dress I wouldn't have known otherwise. After being shown my options for bustling the dress, I selected the French bustle rather than an American bustle. This kept the structure and silhouette of my dress exactly how I wanted! I had a great experience working with Becky and Amy! After I dropped my dress off at the first fitting I was confident they would do a good job based on the time they spent pinning and making sure everything was just how I wanted it and the right length. They showed me and pinned multiple bustle styles to pick what I wanted, and they held up great! My dress was stepped on plenty all night and they held with no problem. She also did some custom alterations for me to turn the long puff sleeve into an elbow length sleeve, which turned out exactly how I wanted. She made sure I was 100% sure of the changes before she made them. It was also super quick! About 3 weeks between dropping off and picking up my dress. Becky is amazing! She truly has so much knowledge as well as experience in alterations. She use to do all kinds of alterations and now only focus on wedding dresses. She works in her own cute home with her daughter, Amy, helping with scheduling. I called about two or three months ahead to ask all my questions about tailoring wedding dress as well as book an appointment. It was so easy talking to Amy and I definitely got every question answered. I didn't feel like I was asking too many questions either. She told me what to bring and what to expect for fitting. When it came to the fitting, we wore our mask due to COVID and only brought one fully vaccinated guest. They were very kind and social with us. No awkwardness at all. As wedding dresses are hopefully a once in a lifetime thing, you want to get it right and put the dress into capable hands - especially when you have really expensive dresses made of fragile materials...sometimes you get one chance to get it right without ruining the dress.
