She used a high-speed bur to remove my previous gel, and the heat was so intense it stung. When I mentioned it, she brushed it off with, "You're too sensitive." There was barely any gel to remove -- a simple hand file would've done the job without damaging my nails. Instead, the overuse of the bur left my nails feeling thin. The curing process was rushed too. She kept switching my hands mid-cycle before the polish could properly set. And the "massage"? It lasted as long as it takes me to put lotion on before work -- basically nonexistent. For the price they charge, the service should last more than a couple of days and feel at least somewhat relaxing. Unfortunately, it was neither. I do NOT recommend this place.

My last manicure service was rushed as they either double booked or didn't block out enough time for appointments. Within a week my thumb had lifted and ended up completely ripping my natural nail off. The other nails were completely outgrown out as Mishka rushed through and didn't apply the gel close enough to my cuticle. I schedule a full set because all my nails needed to be redone. I was fully prepared to pay the full amount but the attitude towards my experience was the worst. Extremely entitled and not once did Mishka or Miko the owner apologize. What makes it worse was the initial appointment was for my BIRTHDAY. They wanted to charge me additionally for the nail that lifted. The only person that said anything was the woman who works the front desk. Evening stating that she didn't think I should have to pay full price because of the circumstances. My nails lifted within 7 days and I had to rebook a whole set literally two week from my initial one. I would have come as soon as they lifted but I had work, and when I sat down with Mishka, I let her know what I experienced. No apology, no acknowledgment, if anything she seemed irritated that I even mentioned anything. I paid full price again, but when I got home I just felt like that def. could have been handled better. I called to express my disappointment and the owner said "I'll text you," again no sorry, no acknowledgment NOTHING. So I went back and asked for a refund. The owner wouldn't even acknowledge me and Mishka said I'll be with you. Nobody got up nothing, safe to say I will not be returning ever. As they expand and grown with their own gels etc I truly hope that they take this as a learning lesson. Customer service should be a top priority . I was a loyal customer who scheduled regularly and always tipped 20% and who even referred them business.

While I am extremely sympathetic to her struggles and loss of her grandparent, she came back at my review very intensely and said "shame on you" multiple times to me. As I had stated in my initial review, if I heard an update that the business was open, I would have changed my review. However as a client, I cannot know what is happening in this business owners life, and it seems like the professional and respectful choice is to re-record your business voicemail telling people you are taking a break, so your clients don't continually waste their time. Now because of this intense and rude response years later, I stand by my one star review instead of changing it, because I do not believe the client is responsible for knowing what losses are going on in the owners life, nor do they deserve a mean retort years later for information they have no way to know. Her response was very unprofessional and as I had said before, I would've changed my review to a positive one and been a client again, but not after this exchange. My father passed away during this time period too, right before my wedding actually, and we're also currently in the middle of COVID where she has no idea who is currently sick or who I've lost in my life, so while it's true you don't know what's going on in someone's life, that doesn't give a business owner reason to shame a client for the owner not updating their business information and the client responding based on their current experience. This is not a personal relationship and it's unprofessional and unkind to shame a client when you also have no idea the circumstances in the other persons life. Very hypocritical. I hope she can proceed more professionally again in the future. She was very talented, but having drama with someone who is offering a service is not worth it to me as a client, just to have nice nails. The staff was very friendly, can help answer your questions. I have not tried to remove the nails, but my friend who visit some often says that they're really easy to remove with a special nail remover. But it's nice to not have to break the bank every time you want to get your nails done and it's just as easy to do it at home.
