Saw that this store location is 'closing' and with the customer service the cashier (Pietro) provided today ... they need to close sooner than later. I have the Beyond+ member and had a $10 reward that I wanted to use but didn't know how to go about it. I went to the BBB app and the $10 showed up there but didn't show up on the credit card reader. He asked if I was using the right phone number (which I was) and when I said I wanted to use the $10 because it expires today, he said, 'well, that's the problem'. I explained to him if I came tomorrow and tried to use the coupon, THAT would be the problem because it would be expired so I should still be able to use the coupon today. I get it, this isn't his career and just a part time job but he just didn't seem to want to help me and couldn't be bothered. He finally got the manager who within 2 mins was able to figure out the issue. read more

It's one of those places that has a little bit of everything in it. From frying pans and all kinds of dish ware and accessories for the home to coffee, tea and a variety of candy. There is usually someone there that can help you if you need it. The checkout is pretty quick and the prices are also good especially if you have coupons. read more

I love love love bbb! I go to this store for convenience because it is closer than the w.b. one. Today it was an absolute mess although I still manage to spend $100. I really find it hard to shop when a store is messy. Also there were big ladders blocking a lot of the aisles. I ordered a lift chair online, it said it would be delivered the next day. then when tracked item it was never presented to fed ex for delivery. There were conflicting statements on my order page, saving it was shipped and would be delivered. Lower down on page it said it would be picked up by carrier soon. When spoke to customer service, who was most unhelpful, they said they would look into it and that would take 2 days, then said it could take an additional 6 days to be delivered. That would be 8 days later than promised. If I was aware of this deception I would never have placed order. Spoke to a supervisor who said he would look into it. I said to get back to me in 24hrs or cancel order. I found this entire transaction to be very deceptive. Caveat emptor, buyer beware! read more

I usually go to the BBB in West Babylon. Didn't know the Farmingdale location doesn't sell toiletries such as dental shampoos etc...so A waste of time. Nothing accomplished. Aisles were tight and clearance area in back very unorganized. Inventory and unopened boxes partially blocking aisles. I'll never return to this location. read more

Aside from the awkwardness on how the store is set up, the customer service is amazing. One worker stayed with me for almost a half hour checking prices and helping me find deals. After his assistance, a couple aisles down another man asked if I needed help, a shopping cart, or to hold anything behind the register. As I checked out, yet again, the cashier was such a gentleman. I might just be used to the large 20th or so street location in NYC, but this Bed, Bath and Beyond seemed rather small, even compared to the Rego Park, Queens location. I was looking for a small trash can, but all I could find were the expensive chrome and plastic ones that either flip up or do some unnecessary motion. While I will probably end up going back and getting one, I wish there were more options. Friendly staff. That is all. read more

I agree with a previous Yelper that this BB&B is rather on the small side despite being in the suburbs of the Big Apple with ample space. I finally was able to locate cork toppers that are cute and very reasonable. The cork toppers are in the shape of grapes, which I was able to utilize my 20% in-store coupons. read more

The employees are not truthful and generally ignorant. Told to sign up for mobile alerts to get a 20% and show my phone at the register for use TODAY. I did so and they refused to honor the confirmation on my phone. Called the moron over to the register that made this statement and he said no, you'll get it in 5 days. Bed Bath and Beyond was not a good experience. I have gone there plenty of times, I even registered there for my wedding. I had a 20% off coupon on my phone that expired five days ago (literally 5 days ago). They told me that they could not except it. They only take expired coupons that are in paper form. I then tried searching for another one, as I was buying an expensive vacuum. I signed another email address up to receive the 20% off coupon and was told that it would take a day for the coupon to go through to my email and I would have to use it tomorrow. I have been to plenty of Bed Bath and Beyonds, where we alllll know every other lady has atleast seven 20% off coupons with them. I have had sales rep help me at times and even customers on line start to give them out. These coupons are not hard to come by. This experience made me realize that I'll never go back to this store again. I think the people there are working for a pay check and really don't give a crap if you can't find a coupon, because a-they don't work on commission and b-there young and disgruntled themselves. I left the store and won't be coming back and will definitely spend my money somewhere else on a vacuum. read more
