after making an online order and receiving confirmation of it being pulled and ready, I showed up…read moreto the store to pick it up and find one of the items incorrect. after taking it back into the store, I was told that they currently didn't have the correct item in stock ,me explaining that it showed three currently in stock at that store. at that point I was.informed that it was obviously a mistake. But they would get one ordered in for me in short term.. my explaining that I had a crew on the job site , waiting for the materials that had already been paid for, yet unable to deliver. Knowing that the crew would still have to be compensated for their time. I asked to speak to the manager to express my frustrations.. with zero compassion he proceeded to play on his PC for about five minutes to inform me that it was in fact, correct that they didn't have one in store, but if given a little bit of time, he could possibly find one in store. After waiting approximately 15-20 more minutes I requested that the full order just be returned. ,at this point, I was informed of the fact that the money that I had paid shopping online to purchase the materials that were in stock wouldn't be returned to me for five days. leaving me with the financial obligation of paying my crew a minimum of one hour of labor but having to send them home do to no materials and having to come out of pocket to pay for the materials that I had already paid for on a confirmed purchase from Menards. The store managers sarcasm, and lack of compassion is compounded by my financial loss due to Menards mistake. I'm not in search of full compensation of my loss, but the sarcasm was definitely not welcomed. I'm not that ever write reviews, but this was constituted.

The furniture part was actually very beautiful and I enjoyed everything that they sold here. They had outstanding salt and pepper shakers that my wife was looking for! They have a whole aisle that is nothing but ramen and soup from various countries. They have a lot of assortments of grab and go drinks. Nothing's cold though or don't even expect freezer items too. I let them know, next Wednesday afternoon will not work, but if they promised Wednesday morning, I would be there. Then they change my delivery window to the afternoon on Wednesday. I contact them and tell them this is not what was promised and this is unacceptable. They tell me the only way they can fix is to wait another week. I am done waiting, I am done leaving work for delivery "windows", and I am done with Bob's. Bob's feel free to call me to fix this. Mark D. and Ivy are no help. I am done with your phone trees and chat lines. Everything there is, wait a week. We are all full this week, wait a week. You all need to fix your system for when you make mistakes.
