I was in the store on January 7, 2020 and it was quite busy. There were seven of us in the line and only two cash registers open. One was the returns cash register. So why the two stars, there were three cashiers standing near the registers laughing and talking. While we waited for the next cashier, they were ignoring us. You want to know why many of these places are going out of business, workers who would rather gossip than taking care of customers. When they finally looked up, only one went to the registers. You have got to choose, customer service or going out of business. The sad thing is that this is my favorite B3 (our nick name for the store). Please do a better job, if you go out of business I don't know what I would do! read more

Came in on a Saturday, generally not a good idea. Lots of people, blocked aisles, the usual. Grabbed a variety of items and was happy to see several check out lines open with almost no lines. The third item scanned rang up incorrectly. I pointed out the price on the sticker and that it had rang up much higher. The clerk apologized, and stepped over to the customer service desk to let them know he needed a manager for a void. The woman he spoke to said "ok, be there in a sec". Meanwhile, she keeps checking out people. A few minutes pass, and the clerk goes over again, and this time she says "ill page someone to come help you out." Goes back to ringing up customers. I ask my clerk "is there only one person in the whole store who can do a void?" "Yeah." "And they're getting him, right?" "Yeah." I shrug my shoulders and stand there while the line of people behind me starts to build. Finally the clerk goes to the same woman a third time and guess what? NOW SHE COMES OVER and helps void out the problem. She doesn't apologize to me for the delay or to the clerk for giving him the run around. The clerk was clearly embarrassed and apologized several times for the 15 minute wait for a 30 second void and I got the hell out of there. So in summary, great selection, so so prices, and some ridiculous inefficiency on behalf of this female manager (or whatever she was.) read more

Registered here for our wedding and had great service. They were really helpful and walked around w us when we were scanning. Haven't had any problems with returns from the wedding. There were a couple packages shipped online we never received, phone customer service was exceptional. This review is way overdue. I'm not sure if her name, but she was a very pretty, short lady, with VERY long hair. She helped me with my purchase of a Nutrabullet RX and a couple of other things that I didn't think they would have and she guided me right to it! She spent the time with me to show me options and not like other places that just point and let me find it myself. I was very happy with my experience there and it is my only BB&B I will go too. I bought a Keurig for my boss here only to find out when it was opened that it was used and not the correct model. It was a used Special Edition packaged in a Platinum box. The store manager apologized but still tried to prove to me that it was the right model. I got the right one, Platinum, brand new. I will definitely shop at a different BB & B. read more

After a long drive to Upland, I'm now on my way to the Chino bed bath and beyond. The reason is because I tried to PRICE MATCH along with using a 20% discount coupon and the cashier (Brittany) told me that I have to choose one or the other. Immediately after I was told that, I called the bed bath and beyond in Chino and they said that they COULD honor both the price match and the 20% off coupon. It's not fair to run your business in such a manner that doesn't have consistent service throughout the franchise, not to mention causing me to drive across multiple cities for one purchase, and for that reason I am giving this location one star. read more

Pretty good store for household products and needs. We went in on a Sunday to look for bedding for our spare bedroom. We had a couple of giftcards so we wanted to use them for our bedding. We found what we were looking for. We looked for decorative throw pillows for the bed and they didn't have a very big selection. I eneded up having to order some online to go with the bedspread we picked out. Overall, they normally have what I am looking for at okay prices. Definitely not getting a bargain when you come here though, so keep that in mind. read more

My favorite branch! The staff at this store could not be more helpful and accommodating! The store is kept clean and well stocked. Even if an employee is not working in that particular department, they will do their best to find the answer to your question. I realized today that many of their staff have been there quite a long time which is great. Wow. What an amazing store and staff. I placed an order for a curbside pickup for a last minute item for a last elopement. In this crazy time, everyone is trying to do what they can to have a normal life. Anyway, I was on my way to the store which closed at 6pm. Due to an accident, I was running late and my GPS had me to the store after 6. I called and spoke to the manager to let them know my situation and asked if there was any way I could still pick the gift up. She told me it would be no problem at all, not to rush, they would wait for me. Sure enough, I got to the store and not only had they stayed to help me, the manager and associate had wrapped the gift for me! It really helped to streamline the rest of the evening for me. Human kindness isn't gone. What an amazing experience and service. In my haste and hurry, I cannot recollect the names of those two wonderful women, but thank you so much. Needing a few last Christmas gifts, I headed to Bed Bath on Campus the night of December 23rd. Although the store was jammed with last minute shoppers, the staff did an outstanding job! Every dept I visited, I was greeted by helpful, HAPPY people. The checkout line was crazy, but the manager was right there multi-tasking, greeting everyone with a kind sense of urgency. If I could give a negative star I would. Just your average bed bath, however the staff and manager are simply rude. When we lived over off of day creek we would go to the one in Ontario and they treated us just fine. For the past four years we've lived off of carnelian and would go to this one on numerous occasions and every time without fail, rude! I'll give one example; we purchased a shower caddy and it started to rust within a month and was engulfed in rust within 6 months. Now bed bath purchase guaranteed with no time limit on returns however I did not ry and return it, I instead asked to get the manufacturers information or exchange it. They told me, in not so many words, to go pound sand, then transferred me to a manager and she put me on hold and i got disconnected twice, yeah that wasn't on purpose. So I called the corporate office and filed a complaint and they said they would swap it out or give me the manufactures info over the phone. I called the manufacturer and they offered to replace it for me, no thanks to this bed bath in upland...never going here again and asked all our friends and family to stop going here as well. read more

We just got married and showed up unannounced to try to use the many gift cards we received to purchase some items that were left on our registry. We were greeted by Niki and had a few questions about how to get our list prioritized. She was awesome! Not only did she take her time with us, she broke the list down, one item at a time. Even totaling the cost several times so that we could stay within our gift card budget. She was friendly and made our visit a breeze. She even helped us fill our basket one item at a time. We also had the opportunity to meet her manager Debbie. I couldn't help but notice how awesome she was with her staff and how she truly wanted to make sure every guest was handled quickly and with the utmost respect. We happened to tie up a line when checking out due some specific requests that we made and she kept her employees on point making sure that all the customers behind us were helped immediately by calling other employees to run registers to check out guests as needed. Went to the Upland store today with a 20% coupon that I had received on-line. I printed the coupon as my phone wasn't working well. They wouldn't accept the coupon, even though my name was on it. I understand that stores have policies, but one; this policy seems unreasonable and two; my clerk named 'Randy' just kept saying, "I can't scan it, so I can't take it." I felt like he just wanted to get me going so he could go back to stocking or whatever he was doing. A customer behind me offered her coupon and he took that. (How does that make sense?) I said I wasn't comfortable with another customer giving me her coupon, but he took it and used it anyway just as a manager came and approved my printed coupon. And good ole' Randy used it for the other lower priced item. So I got two coupons for sale items I didn't care about and left the item I wanted, because I didn't want to keep the nice customer behind me waiting. Randy should learn to put customers first or not help customers on the register. Go back to stocking Randy. BBB: Please put competent and considerate people on registers! read more
