Lots of regulars, so the place feels comfortable and familiar. Even as a first-timer, I felt at ease. I used the largest washers they had. Most washers and dryers were working and clean. Those they weren't working had signs stating so. Many of them had cute little signs or drawings. The staff/owners were very helpful and attentive. They helped me get the biggest bang for my quarters. I don't know if this is a scam to get people to come back to check the balance on their card thinking they can do their laundry and then finding out they can't because nowadays with the way money is and the way people are having a hard time of it there should be a number to call to get your card balance. I have dealt with many card operated laundromats before and this has never been a problem there's usually a number on the back of the card or there's a number on the machine that the person at the laundromat can give you. This is bad business. They don't care whether or not you have to waste time to go down and get your card balance even if you have nothing on your card and barely any gas in your tank just to see if you have enough money to do your laundry.
