Cozy little shop with a lot of comfortable seating. If you're looking to get work done this is definitely a great spot. Drinks are on the smaller side, pretty standard tasting. Brown Butter Cappucino w/Oat Milk Iced Brown Butter Latte Hazelnut Latte w/Oat Milk

Small cafe with limited drink menu. Drinks are good . Staff friendly. Seats are cozy and they have outlets for charging devices. Bathroom too. They seem to host private events regularly, so sometimes you will a sign saying closed for private events, luckily there are many other coffee shops nearby.

Ordered: Iced Passionfruit Matcha (~$7) Aya's take: I found myself at Bedford Studio when looking for an afternoon pick me up. The Iced Passionfruit Matcha immediately caught my eye. I love passionfruit flavor and I'm a regular matcha drinker. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark. The flavor profiles clashed way too much and the layer of passionfruit was too thick. Even when I thoroughly mixed it in, it would settle to the bottom soon after. I haven't experienced this with other drinks like this. It's a cute spot and they have a lot of unique drinks to try. I would skip the passionfruit and maybe get a classic latte here instead.

I had this place bookmarked for some reason so when I decided to have a break, I popped on by. This place often has pop ups it seems because it was not only decked out for the holidays but it was in partnership with another brand (piecework puzzles). The place is relatively tight. There is a retail portion where they sell aesthetic items (cookbooks, puzzles, accessories for gifts). There are a couple of tables and chairs but they were already occupied. They have a laptop policy (weekdays and certain times on the weekend). Plus a membership whose benefits were unclear to me. They had a special menu for the pop up and a general one. I bought an iced mango matcha from the General and a hazelnut chai (warm). I greatly appreciated the hazelnut and the flavors complemented each other. The mango matcha was decent. Overall, it is a good choice if you are in the area. Nothing I would go out of my way for but a chance to see something interesting.

Poshmark take over. The only reason I even give it this rating is because it was a Poshmark takeover. The space is cramped and truly unorganized I saw a lot of there stuff laying out. The seating is a little limited and not very good and drink friendly or comfortable. The drink was good but if I would have had to pay the retail price versus the pop up it would be expensive in my opinion.

I came in for a pop up event and enjoyed a cookies and cream latter which I requested with less caffeine and it was perfect. They made them quickly and I want to come back and try the matcha latte. Its a small space but there was plenty of seating.

Bedford Studio is an interesting concept where you can get a day pass to work in the space. The place also serves coffee and matcha and small treats. I got their iced latte and seasonal mango matcha. The latte was solid and their mango to matcha ratio was perfect. I also got a matcha MOD cookie and that was a delicious treat.

pop-up event made for a very uncomfortable environment, and matcha literally tasted like milk. Not good, especially if you're into matcha.

There are different types of cold treats: gelatos and more slushie like consistency frozen confections that are served in a cup. My vegan friend appreciated that he could choose from multiple vegan flavors, not just be limited to the one and only offering, which is what most places usually have. Melon flavor was incredible. Tasted like frozen melon was crushed with ice and chopped into an ice/smoothie blend. Super refreshing. Very sweet, though. All flavors are very sweet, so a small portion can be shared and you will feel satisfied. I personally enjoyed their in-house special flavor of gelato: honey cream with crushed almonds, pistachios, and hazelnuts. That was bombastic! Love how nutty the consistency was. I love nuts, so this almost reminded me of a chunky peanut butter situation: just more fine grained and smooth, with gelato being the base. Highly recommend trying this flavor! Focacia was okay. A bit too dry and bland for my liking, but still decent. My favorite item was the pistachio bombolone which is officially now my favorite dessert. This was magnificent! The yeasty dough was so light and airy--perfectly light and balanced. The filling of pistachio cream was very delicate and not sweet at all, which was such a nice surprise. I do not like saccharine dessert. The fresh raspberry jam was a perfect balance to the pistachio cream. I never like jams in my desserts, but this was a perfect complement. Woooow, what a treat! Can't wait to return for it and to try more of their other flavors--hazelnut & chocolate, coconut, white chocolate, tiramisu. You could taste the superb quality of the ingredients. Highly recommend.

I was just walking by when they were handing out samples, took one bite, and immediately turned around to buy a full serving. It was THAT good. In fact, I went back the very next day... no regrets. I will absolutely die on that hill. If you're anywhere nearby, stop in. Seriously, you won't be sorry.

There's just something special about their gelato--especially when topped with that rich pistachio sauce. On a previous visit to their Times Square location, I had one of their more decadent creations: gelato with waffle sticks and pistachio sauce. It was absolutely heavenly and incredibly delicious. This time, I didn't have room for something quite as indulgent, but I still wanted something sweet after dinner at La Basque. The closest Amorino was in Greenwich Village, just a 10-minute walk away. That walk alone is always a treat--Greenwich Village is charming, pedestrian-friendly, and full of outdoor dining and energy, especially on a September Saturday afternoon. I grabbed my gelato to-go and chose the amarena and hazelnut flavors, topped with the signature pistachio sauce. They poured the sauce at the bottom of the cup, and it hardened slightly to create a delicious shell underneath the gelato. I enjoyed it while walking through the Village, soaking in the late-summer atmosphere of the city with gelato in hand. Simple, sweet, and exactly what I needed.
