This is my second time ordering at bedford thai and I won't go back. Driver was argumentative about being at the wrong address. Roti app is way over priced. I asked for extra roti abs did not receive. Drunken noodles taste like Chinese food. Curries taste like they add sugar and consistency is weirdly thick. It's expensive and not worth it. read more

Ordered food from Bedford again today. By far this is the best place to order from that delivers to my office. From the Pad Ped to Basil Chicken or Beef to the simple Spicy Fried Rice, all their dishes arrive hot and fresh. Consistency is a major priority for my support of a restaurant and Bedford Thai has always maintained a very good product. I haven't eaten at the establishment, but I have to say the food via delivery is phenominal. Ask for extra spice! read more

The food was actually good. Been disappointed by Stamford Asian food a lot so far at other restaurants, but I genuinely enjoyed the Green Curry, Laksa, and Pad Thai at Bedford Thai. The Thai iced tea looked very red but that was good too. read more

Gonna keep this short and simple. If you're looking for Thai food in Stamford, this is the best I've found. It's consistently good for eat in orders, I had take out once or twice and it's not the same after it steaks in the containers but I find that to be similar across all Thai restaurants. Never had a bad item off their menu. Service is super helpful and attentive. Great location, very new and clean interior. I literally can't think of any reason to go to any other Thai restaurant in Stamford. Our go to order is drunken noodle, which I'm sure is most people's staple. read more

Just tried it for the first time tonight. Ordered crispy calamari and the green curry for delivery. I only wanted the green curry but had to order something else as delivery minimum is $25. The crispy calamari was inedible! Truly disappointing and it was 10 bucks. Tried to chew on 2 pieces but had to spit out. The green curry was delicious but the calamari left a bad taste in my mouth. Excellent Restaurant!!! I have been here about 6 times now and the food is very consistent. Love the spicy sauce trio selection (you may have to ask) a must try is the Basil with Pork. They have a local Thai beer called Chang, which is a lager and delicious! Give it a try! You won't be disappointed. read more

The food here is great but take out is terrible I've taken out from here three times. Once they gave me the wrong meal and refused to give me a refund. The second and third time I ordered 2 meals and they gave me only one but charged me for both. Luckily I noticed at the restaurant but I had to wait over 30 minutes for the meal to come out. DON'T GO THERE!! I placed an order the night before for delivery at noon. At 12:30 still no sign of the driver. I will NEVER order food from this restaurant again!! The order finally arrived over an hour late. None of the teachers could eat their lunch. Best Thai food we've had in Stamford. We split the crab rangoon and were amazed at how good they were. Crisp and a good amount of crab inside. I got the Tom Kha Gai soup which was just perfect for a cold winter night. My boyfriend got the peanut shrimp curry. It was a massaman style base to it but the shrimp were cooked perfectly and the veggies were really fresh. The restaurant was busy and the staff still managed to check in on us several times, refilling our water and making sure we were enjoying ourselves. I enthusiastically ordered Roti-Canai and was extremely disappointed when the roti they served was the Malaysian frozen paratha available in most Indian/ Asian grocery stores. Not good. First time ordering takeout. There is a bug in the soup. The fried calamari is hard and inedible, and it has no taste. The seafood delight is miserable. The ingredients are not fresh and taste as if previously frozen, and the delight has imitation crab in it. The massamam is watery, taste only of salt and the potatoes, in addition to being undercooked, look like the kind you get in the frozen food section, down to the french fries cut. With so many good reviews, I'm truly puzzled by what was just delivered to us. read more

Next time I will pick something that has more flavor. The salad with peanut dressing was very good but the fried rice with pork ,while presented Very attractively, lacked the expected flavor. Ordered the lunch special of Drunken Noodle with beef medium spice. The medium was the least spicy out of the options and insanely spicy. Next time I will say barely any spice. The beef is cooked well and not chewy and the noodles have a ton of flavor besides the spice. Came with either a side salad or soup. Got the salad and didn't love the dressing - too peanuty for me. I first tried here about 4 months ago. I moved to the area back in August. The food is really quite excellent. i have eaten here many times since my original visit and I have loved everything I have tried. Here are a few dishes I have ordered..green papaya salad, chicken satay, shrimp pad thai, chicken with peanut sauce, fried rice, spring rolls, whole crispy fish...........and probably some others that I can't think of right now. Everything is delicious. Wonderful fresh ingredients. Love the chicken with peanut sauce.The service is very good. Nothing crazy fancy here but good quality food at a decent price. I can't recommend this place enough! I first discovered their sister restaurant in Westport, CT, Rainbow Thai and had their food specially their tom yum large soup, it was love at first sight! I being vegetarian there is always one concern whenever we go to some Thai place, that will i be getting the food as per my prerequisite? But at Bedford thai they not only took care of all my requirements but also prepared delicious food. Like all other customer even i was little nervous for trying this new place that has opened up in our downtown, but after exploring the amazing thai food near my residence i am glad that i choose Bedford Thai. The waitress took care of all our need and the chef prepared the Dishes in best way he could. I highly recommend Pad Thai Noodles and Jungle Curry if you like the Spicy food.
