It appears that my previous review was posted 5 years ago, so here is a quick update. This is still our main take out spot for the Asian cuisine as we live in a close proximity to the restaurant. Food is consistently good, particularly all the specialty rolls and regular sushi rolls. Sesame chicken is still best in town, only now it lacks the sauce (need to see if there is an option to ask for more). Beef and broccoli is amazing, just outright delicious. The only thing I wouldn't recommend (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is Thai food. Pad Thai is just mediocre. I got Tom Yum soup yesterday and it was insanely sour but lacked any other flavor, so I can't really recommend Thai food there. But for Japanese and Chinese portion of the menu it is definitely 5 stars and highly recommended. read more

First off this restaurant is not related to the Asiana in Greenwich just to get that out of the way, but they are my favorite Chinese restaurants in their respective towns. The food here is delicious, generous, with excellent service, and the prices are reasonable, with a very cozy, clean, and exceptionally well decorated dining room. They also have a small bar so not really a mingle spot but they do an outstanding job with their cocktails, including asian/tiki cocktails in appropriate glassware. They even have decent parking unlike Open Rice whose lot is madness. I have not a single complaint about this place wish I had known about it sooner. read more

The waitress provided me with a menu and water fairly quickly which was nice and when she returned 30 seconds later for the order i told her i was planning on chinese food but the sushi menu was also calling my name so i needed time. She came back about 1 minute later, i said not yet , then again about 2 more minutes later- i just smiled and kept reading the menu LOLOL her next visit (1 minute later lolol) i explained to her this is my first time in the restaurant and I kinda wanna read through the menu . I decided to start with one roll and take it from there...... i told her that was my plan. if i loved the sushi i would get more and if not i'd go standard chinese .... she returned BEFORE i received the roll to ask what else i wanted ?!?! mmmm kill she was young but i made it abundantly clear i wanted to try the roll before committing .... i sternly explained this to her with a smile so she'd get the point. i thought ..... roll was delivered and it was really good . Large portion (special roll ) which is what i expect for 15-18$ i was about 3 pieces deep into enjoying my appetizer / meal when guess who's back asking me if im ready to place the rest of my order ?!? uuuugghhhhhj it was in between services (lunch and dinner- 4pm maybe ) and the place might have had 4 other people . Was she bored, was she just new, why are you rushing me ?!?!?! i smiled and told her she's more than welcome to come back when i'm finished and please not before then. Her face suggested comprehension. At this point an older couple sat down next to me and smiled and explained that I was in their favorite seat they were nice enough but obviously taken back . i offered to move and they insisted i stay (nicely) Soo theyve been coming in here for the last five years once a week on the same night and it was the first time anybody had ever sat there !!! so now I'm realizing this place is probably 90% takeout and that's why this waitress doesn't have a clue anyhoooo the older couple was wonderful I got a couple suggestions from them on their favorite dishes and sushi rolls so I decided to order two more rolls they were good - nowhere near the greatness of SHIKI or Kiku but good . i will go back!! with better service i would love to raise the rating :) read more

I visited Asiana Bistro in late October with my friend and her family including two young children. I had the vegetable spring rolls and the drunken noodles with tofu. My friend's husband had the Singapore noodles, and my friend and her children had various sushi rolls. They also had the miso soup. We all greatly enjoyed the food. Service was pretty good. The waiter seemed to be understanding about the very active children. My only complaint is that they never refilled our rather small water glasses, so I'm deducting a star for that. The restaurant was mostly empty, but it was a rainy Sunday night. I liked the decor, and the children enjoyed the music. I would definitely return or get delivery if I'm back in the area. read more

Went back Saturday night around 6:30 and the place was very busy. Hostess/manager was so nice and checked in on me while I waited for my dinner partner. After ordering on a regular basis I received only the drinks and not the food. I was charged for the food despite not getting it. I called and they told me it was my problem. They have no interest in filling the order or refunding my food order that never came. After decades of enjoying this restaurant and they were so unprofessional and unpleasant; I must cancel using this take out restaurant . One of my go to spots for Asian fusion locally, been here several times and general tso chicken is spot on, good sushi, interesting fusion dishes. Staff is friendly and recognize us when we come in. Ambience is spacious and clean and soft music in the back round. This time I ordered the wasabi infused dumplings, shrimp and avacado roll, twice cooked pork, and chicken drunken noodles. All were delicious and the twice cooked pork is tender and has flavors that remind you of duck, little spicy but so good. I'll stay coming back. read more

The chefs at this restaurant do not devein their shrimp. Disgusting! This means that anyone who orders a shrimp dish will be eating uncleaned shrimp poo. we did take out last weekend and had egg rolls, some rolls and noodles. the place is long standing fixture on high ridge road for many year. We haven't been in awhile because traffic is so busy at the intersection and parking limited for all stores. the rolls were good, egg rolls tasted a bit soggy but good filling, rice noodles with meat was okay, we wish the veggies were cooked longer so it blends in better with the noodle. The staff was very nice, even though i was *that* customer that ordered last minute 30 mins before closing. I ordered sesame chicken (chicken was cooked nicely), plain lo mein (just okay), and chicken pad thai (not the best, not terrible). The chicken pad thai barely had sauce and didnt come with any limes-which is what i think adds that something extra to the flavor. Probably won't make it a point to come back ... what happened to the days when Chinese food was a cheap takeout dinner? I've been eating so much Italian I needed a break! If you blink you'll miss this place it's on the corner of the building next to Nothing Bundt Cakes. They have Sushi, Thai and Chinese selections. I had the Thai Pineapple Shrimp Rice and Kung Bo Duo. A little sweet and little spicy,.. fabulous. Oh and the Lychee Martini is the bomb! Service was friendly. Came into this pan Asian bistro for lunch and was immediately seated as the place was dead. The menu and table I was seated as was sticky. For all drinks served none came with a straw (not even the cup of water). The crab shu Mai tasted like the frozen ones you find at the store. The soup and salad for the bento were like any other. Bento box is set up as normal, the beef however was dry and the vegetables it was sitting on seemed just boiled. The sushi lunch was good, selection of fish was fresh and nice. This place has usually been very good. Something has gone amiss. It appears that almost all the staff has been replaced ( including my fav sushi chef). We ate their tonight and it was a cluster$&@$. Everyone was waiting for service and they were very overwhelmed. Dirty plates all over the table that I had to stack on my own and had to beg them to bring ice cream for the kids and the check. I've been going to this place and has never disappointed me. There are a few dishes that are my usual which I've been sticking to and enjoy it very much. I've tried a dew out of my comfort zone which didn't turn out great. The food in this restaurant is the closest authentic food you can find without having to drive to NYC. The owner is very nice and takes care of their customers. They also manage the pandemic well, keeping their staffs and customers safe - and do not allow indoor dining which brings me peace in mind when ordering takeout. Im very sad to say that I will be staying away from my old go-to Asian restaurant after a recent experience I brought my friend there after raving about it and she had the worst experience in the restaurant. Although mine and my son's food was okay but our golden nuggets were very greasy- more than usual, they served my friend a flat seltzer and rancid boneless spare ribs. She had me smell it and asked me to taste it to make sure it wasn't just her but after smelling it myself I said absolutely NOT, send it back! The service was awful as well. Went there for the first time recently. I ordered for my young son as soon as I sat down. My sons food hadn't come by the time they brought my order and so I enquired about his order. And I was told that it was coming, they were busy and if I didn't want to wait I should have stayed at home. That was pretty rude. And what made it worse was he repeated what he said to me several times to other customers like he was grumbling to them about us. I was pretty baffled by his comment and his behavior. This restaurant recently opened and it shows by its modern and clean decor. I had their bullet sushi roll as an appetizer and it was very good. I regularly order from this restaurant and the food is good. However, they get two stars for the incredibly incompetent way they handled by recent order. Asiana Bistro just implemented and online ordering system. The website encourages registering and signing up and offers a 10% discount on orders. I signed up and began to place the order. Upon completion of the order and payment, the system said that my address was not in delivery range. I called the restaurant and told them of the problem. They confirmed they did indeed deliver to my address. The person who I spoke with told me she could take my order and give me the 10% off or the manager could call me back in 5 minutes. After going through my order on the phone and giving the order-taker the credit card information, she then informed me she could not give me the 10% off because I was not placing the order online. Office ordered lunch today - one item came with raw uncooked chicken (chicken teriyaki), upon letting them know, they first denied it stating it is supposed to be that way. Then upon informing them that the person who ordered the dish gets the same thing all the time and its never come with pink raw chicken. Love the food from Asiana Bistro, I usually get it delivered which is very quick and the quantity is very generous. I always have leftover. Regarding quality, if you love Asian fusion food, this is best place you can find in Stamford area. Every single time the food taste amazing - the meat is always fully cooked, right amount of spices n it's always warm n freshly cooked whenever I receive it. Here is what I think you must try- 1. Drunken noodles - I'm very picky about the Drunken noodles and I have never ever tasted as good as the one they have. 2. Pad Thai - super yumm!!! 3.
