went there for brunch this morning after seeing the long line at waffle house. I have been here before for dinner and it was pretty good but never been here for brunch before. The food was good- I had bacon and egg burrito and my wife had french toast and I also had a side of sausage links which were very good. Bedoe's is a great local restaurant for beer, drinks, and fish and chips. Food and atmosphere is local pub. Its no competition for Fado in Buckhead, but it is king in Hickory Flat, because there is no alternative to it. Clientele is decidedly blue collar, and TV's litter the restaurant and even the patio. I have enjoyed it every time I have been there. Service is excellent if you set your expectations appropriately. Don't drive out from downtown to eat here, but for those of us living in Canton, this place is an Oasis. read more

I am not this person, and neither is my husband..... but tonight we were. We were seated fairly quickly, that was about where the good service ended. The waitress took about 8-10 minutes to help us with the drink order, then we waited awhile longer for her to take our food order. She quoted the menu wrong and my husband had to correct her. No biggie. Then she forgot that my meal came with a salad, so she had to come back, no biggie. We waited awhile for our food, but they were kinda busy so again we were like ok, no big deal. We were out of drink though by now and decided since we hadn't seen our waitress we would reorder when the food comes out. Food finally arrives by a cook staff member and I ask about the food that's missing from my meal, immediately she takes off before I can also say hey wait can I get some more Diet Coke, and some tartar sauce since I did order fish (thought that kinda came wi5 a fish meal but ok, it's cool)? , and my husband needs blah blah and blah.......she's gone, can't ask for anything....Then we wait... man at the next table stands up because he too is wondering where she is???? After 10 minutes steam is coming out of my husbands ears....we don't want to eat our food without the other aspects that would make it more enjoyable. So when a man, I'm assuming a manager, walks by my husband loses his crap on him. No he should not of used bad language, but he was hangry! We offered to pay for our drinks and just leave. By that time we were both done! Went across the street to Sidelines(side note we had originally planned to go there) and had an amazing meal with no issues and amazing service. I will never recommend this place especially now that I see other reviews about the bad service. Should of read those to begin with. First visit was a horrible mistake I won't make again. read more

This was the last meal we will eat at Bedoe's. We went tonight for an early dinner. We ordered the salmon, usually a good choice, but tonight the it tasted strange and was obviously spoiled, so sent it back and ordered again. The manager apologized and said our food would be out shortly. 35 minutes later we were still waiting for our food. Reminded the manager that he had said our meals would be placed at the head of the queue and were told that our wait was fine and treated as though we were out of line to complain. Once our replacement entrees arrived we had to ask for replacement silver. Before we were quite finished the meal the check arrived, no one asked if we wanted desert, just given a check for our food and beverages. We were charged full price. We paid but before we left told the manager that we felt this incident was handled badly. He insisted that their handling of this was just fine. We think that he needs training in customer service, but we will not return to see if this is done. We did not expect that our food would be free, but at the very least we should have been offered an appetizer or bread while we waited for replacements to the spoiled food. Asking if we wanted dessert at the end of the meal would also have been nice. Having a complimentary dessert would have shown us that Bedoe's was sorry for our inconvenience, but asking at all was not done. So - if you have a problem with the food you get here do not expect much in the way of service. We have learned our lesson and you won't be seeing us again. read more

I love Bedoes. The food is always outstanding. I had the best beef stroganoff I have ever eaten at Bedoes the other night - it was a special and not a part of the regular menu or else I'd have that as my regular meal every time. I have never been disappointed with the food or the service. It is a perfect combination of family dining with a separate bar that has personable, fun bartenders. Bedoes is my first choice when dining in the Hickory Flat area. It's very clean, very reasonably priced and has friendly & helpful staff. Bedoes makes the best soup! read more

A neighborhood "locals" kind of place. My family eats here often. But that's because it's close, there are limited options and we eat out once or twice a week. Pleasant, responsive service but food is mediocre at best. Just had the French Onion soup - pretty sure it's just dissolved beef bouillon with sliced onion and a slice of a sandwich cheese - no croutons, but rather saltines on the side. Santa Fe salad wilted mess due to hot chicken sitting on top of lettuce for a spell before being brought out. Kids meal might feed a 5 year old but my 9 yo still hungry. Not cheap. I've been to Bedoe's a couple of times and today the customer service definitely made it to where I will never be back. We walked in and it took about 10 minutes before we were even seated. Then another 5 before our waitress even came to ask us our drink order. Our waitress only had 1 other table and she would walk past our table to get to them and never once tried to refill any of our empty drinks. Once we did get our food, I had to ask for extra napkins and she was extremely rude about getting them. We never saw her again until I went and asked the bartender to get our waitress so we could order a different sandwich, she was also rude about having to put in this order. We got refills once we were all done with our food. I asked to talked to the manager and the whole time I was talking to him the waitress was rolling her eyes at us. We did not tip her because she ignored our table from the moment we sat down and was beyond rude. As we were paying for our meal, we were questioned by our waitress who said "what no tip?" then she slammed the cash register closed and on our way out she was crying to the 2 other tables she had at this point so one of my sisters (who is fifteen) turned around and told her very politely why we didn't tip her and the waitress threatened my minor sister and myself (who is pregnant) that if we didn't leave she was going to "freak out." and as we were getting in our car the manager came outside yelling. read more

This place is hands down the best place to get wings. I have never had better - more consistently good wings in my life. The staff is extremely friendly and they go the extra mile to help. It's a bit of a drive but I am happy to make it! They have brunch and events, so there's always something going on. It's a great atmosphere and amazing food. read more

The service was absolutely terrible. I had to wait almost 30 minutes for just my burger. I ordered the build your own burger, it was extremely dry. The macaroni and cheese was bland and cold in the center. Overall, it was a shameful disgrace. Also, I thought you weren't allowed to smoke in there, got a mouth full of smoke as I entered the damn place. Wasn't very pleasant, and that was my first day visiting there. Way to ruin it. I tried Bedoe's for the first time today. I was not very pleased with my visit. Walked in and was greeted and seated quickly which was nice. After that it all went down hill. The server took our drink order and brought us our drinks. I took one sip and something came up through the straw. It was a piece of napkin from the previous user. I told the server what had happened and she apologized and took away my drink. Ordered food and it came out and did not look very appealing. It tasted better than it looked. We asked the server for more napkins after the food came and she disappeared. About five minutes later she comes back and we have to ask her again for napkins and also condiments. I don't put the blame on her. Looks like she was the only one in the place. Finished the meal, paid, and left. Probably will never go back. No visit from a manger for the drink mishap, "no desserts on us", nothing. I was a server for over five years and whenever something went wrong with a table I always sent a manager over. Management at Bedoe's has a lot to be desired. We were seated at a table because booths were taken, that was fine. Within a few minutes we realized it was cold and downright breezy (I took video of the napkins blowing in the wind). I mentioned to the waitress it was cold and could we move to the next table, she said it was the blowers and that the next table would not be better, she did not offer other options such as bar area or now open booths. I requested three times to speak with a manager, when she finally arrived (at the end of the meal) she didn't look like she wanted to talk. She stated she was "sorry" and the thermostat was set at 73 and she could not change, besides there were other pressing issues more important than me, such as freezers not working. I wanted to tell her bring the food out here it would stay frozen. When I pressed her, for some sort of recognition/solution or sincere apology for the situation, see stated, "there were no other tables, I already apologized and checked the thermostat, what more do you want" and walked away. We left but will never go back to Bedoe's. As a manager in a service industry there were a number of things she could have done to rectify the situation; for example a sincere apology, comp part of the meal, Bedoe bucks to use on a return trip to improve my dining experience just to name a few. I recommend this manager get out of management and customer service industry, since it certainly not her forte. read more

Neighborhood watering hole with bar food. Do not order the steaks. Burgers are great. Service is "hit or miss", and strong adult beverages! The restaurant needs a serious update with the booths; you could end up with a spring up your backside. read more

Just had lunch there, service was extremely slow and the place was almost empty. I ordered Tequila Lime chicken but they served barbecue chicken which was mediocre at best. This has been our family "go to" for a good meal out without going far ever since they opened. We have celebrated a few birthdays and other occasions here. Having said that, I have to say that I think they are getting slack. The food is not as good as it once was. Every time I make a trip to Canton, I make sure I eat here. The food is very reasonably priced and I have never ordered something I didn't like. The wings are AWESOME (Especially the Bedoe's sauce and the Hot-ayki) and so are the steaks and soups. No matter what-save room for dessert! There are great drink specials everyday, too. If you can get a booth, the kids can watch cartoons why you watch any game you want on all of the other tvs. Best bartenders in Canton! read more

I've been here twice and my first experience wasn't too bad considering I was expecting bar food. I ordered a cowboy burger and some fries and the meal itself would have been fine besides the fact that it was cold. My boyfriend got the sirloin and his steak was cold and just overall we didn't really like our meal. We decided to come back this evening to give it a second go, considering we live in the area, and we ordered the kettle chips with everything on them. The menu doesn't say the kettle chips have onions in them, but there was this clear bulky stuff in the cheese that tasted off... when I asked the server wtf it was she said that it was onions in the blue cheese or alfredo.... okay so the server doesn't know what kind of cheese is on the chips and clearly lied because the cheese was obviously old. Keep in mind the menu doesn't say onions and I would know if it did because my boyfriend hates onions! I should have asked to speak to the manager, but was too tired to be bothered with nonsense so we just paid, left, and arn't coming back. I strongly feel this place could be shut down for a few days if that queso cheese that goes on the kettle chips is looked at by an inspector. Btw our waiter was so bad she didn't give me the correct change and was clearly talking about me while I was using the bathroom... my boyfriend told me he heard her while he was sitting at the booth. I tipped her a quarter because she stole 6 cents from me. Horrible server. read more

Great salads and entrees! Prices are great too! Food comes out fast and with a smile!

To put it simple, the food is delicious. The recipes and taste is of exceptional quality more like what you would expect from a more expensive restaurant. The portions are always more than what you would expect, and I always leave very satisfied. If you're a sports fan, say no more. They will obviously cater to your game with TV's everywhere, although it's not obnoxiously noisy at least at lunch. There's also fun and games like trivia and bingo on certain nights. Specials and a very reasonably priced lunch menu. Service is always good and I've never had a complaint. I enjoy watching I think his name's Gary make the rounds and keep the place full of personality. read more
