Dennis, the owner came out initially to check out our son's foundation and gave us an estimate for the repairs as well as regrading the backyard to prevent flooding in the future. His foreman, Jesse came out with a crew and spent three days fixing the foundation and regrading the yard. They did a great job and when they were done they cleaned up after themselves. We hired Bedrock Foundation to repair the foundation on our fixer-upper before doing any cosmetic work. Within months, cracks appeared in the walls and tile began cracking. Bedrock told us the original work was not done correctly but insisted the fix required new work on the opposite side of the house--for an additional $8,500. After months of back and forth and speaking with the owner, they refused to take responsibility or honor their warranty. We got four independent foundation companies to inspect the home (without mentioning Bedrock), and all confirmed the problem was on the original side Bedrock repaired. We paid another company $10,000 to fix it correctly and now face additional damage costs. We feel completely let down by a company that advertises reliability and warranty-backed work. Please get multiple opinions before hiring any foundation company. I do not recommend Bedrock Foundation to anyone. If you value transparency, quality work, and accountability, please look elsewhere--I wish we had. read more

We recently purchased an old house that required a bit of foundation repair prior to move-in. The seller's agent recommended and obtained a quote from Bedrock, and they turned out to be the most reasonable option. While the job was initially just beam repair and shimming, the extremely professional and efficient 3-person crew ended up putting extra piers in and strengthening the foundation, not merely repairing it. All at a slightly higher, though much less than expected, cost. Throughout the 2-day job, the crew kept us informed of the work and was extremely careful with each installation, making sure to level the foundation without causing more than small above-ground cracks. I am not one to blast anyone online with a review, but I feel I need to warn people. Getting the initial job done quickly and collecting the money they are great at. We had that done in October. By the beginning of January, we were already having major cracks again and doors not closing after it was fixed. I reach out to our sales rep and he said he would come out and look. After 2 follow ups on my end he finally came and said there were definately things that needed to be addressed by them. He advised me that they provide a follow up re-shim within the first year at no charge and that this is included with the price of the repair. He advised i should have the crew out withing 2-3 weeks to perform the re-shim. After that time elapsed with no other follow up I reached out to him again he said he put the request in with the main office and it was out of his hands. He gave me a direct phone number to call for me to follow with. I followed up 4 times with them via phone. They never called me back to schedule as they said they would. Finally I stayed on the phone until they confirmed the date I was scheduled for. I was told the crew would be out the following Thursday to make the repairs. I also advised them that this was a business with public bathrooms that the doors would not close (big problem). It is now the following Saturday, no one came on Thursday as promised, or Friday, and I have heard nothing from anyone at Bedrock Foundation Repair. Stay away from this company. You might get lucky and get your problem fixed the first time, but if you need any follow up they disappear. Next step for me is a report to the BBB, and follow up with my attorney. If you go down this path, know you have been forewarned. read more

We were having flooding problems and the water from the back yard was coming into the house. Dan Hill came out and after looking at everything said a French Drain would prevent the water from getting to our house. His team put in a drain going around the house and out to both streets. He also repaired our Foundation on 3 sides of our house many years ago. He put more sand under our driveway where the alley has drained under our driveway and washed out the sand. Bedrock has been fabulous with service and their work. I highly recommend them! read more

Our GC recommended calling Bedrock, and I am so glad that we did. Dan came out to walk our property and give us a thorough bid for the work that we needed to do. He was extremely knowledgable about what our issues were, and how to fix them. After approving the quote, they came out and did the work, flawlessly. First and foremost, Windell who was the project manager was one of the best project managers we have had out to the house. Their crew was so friendly, and respectful of our property. Windell was great - he walked the property with us before he started, and made sure to keep our plumbing lines safe while they were doing the work. I just can't say enough about the team they sent to our house. As a homeowner, sometimes vendors you hire fall short of your expectations, but I cannot say enough about this company. Windell also personally made sure that everything was cleaned up and perfect before he left. I was just sad i didn't get a chance to say bye to him. They were ethical, affordable, and most of all respectful of our property. I wish they offered more services, as I would work with them 100x over. It just goes to show you, that if their project manager Windell has been working there over 20+ years and working in all of the outdoor elements, Bedrock must be doing something right. Bedrock Foundation mudjacked my driveway up as it had sunk about four inches. Dan Hill was the one that came out and gave the initial estimate. After some time had passed, the driveway started to raise up and now it is higher than the house foundation. I called Dan Hill several times and left messages but never received a return call. We called Bedrock to work on our pier and beam house, and paid them $2100 to fix a sinking center, and a sinking back end of the house. They did two days of work on the perimeter of the house and the center, and left. Not long after, doors wouldn't shut anymore, giant cracks started appearing. We call and ask them to come back out, and the engineer not only doesn't have any of the information about the previous work done to the house, but he only drops a level on the floor and shines a flashlight in the crawl space. Was completely uninterested in the additional damage done to the house, but then tells us the center is sinking, and it's not covered by the warranty, and we'll have to pay another $1,800 to get that fixed. Bottom line, the house is actually worse than it was before their initial work. We have e-mailed twice, called, and even sent a registered letter asking them to just come out and look at the house closer, and explain to us why we need to pay another $1,800. We're willing to pay the additional money, but we'd like more of an explanation, and some kind of assurance that for sure, now, the entire house is covered by warranty and any new repairs will definitely be covered. We can't even get them to respond. It's clear at this point they have no intention of honoring their warranty at all, and they have completely lost our trust. I wouldn't use this company if I were you, and you're interested in a company that stands by its warranty. We've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Texas Attorney General's office, too. We have since discovered that to add piers to a home (which they did) you must have a building permit from the city of Dallas. They did not. If an inspector had come by, the work would have been stopped, and we would have to pay a fine. read more

Each morning the friendly team arrived ready to go. When a surprise arose from an unexpected drain pipe they took care of everything and did not let the issue hinder their progress or price. The owner, Dennis Riles came to my home. He was given full access for as long as he needed. He provided me a proposal based on his inspection that would level and stabilize my home. He stated that minor adjustments would be made over the next few years that would be covered under warranty. I contracted with them and the work was completed and paid in full around January 2020. Approximately six months later, I had a door that began to stick to the point that it would not close. After about three weeks of trying to get him to call me back, he came and inspected, and then tried to sell me more "piers" to stabilize the door. I told him this should be covered as it was within the normal scope of work. He then said he would "try to patch it" and was clearly unhappy I was holding him to our agreement. Around the end of November 2020, I noticed there was a hump that had formed in my master bedroom and that same door was beginning to stick again. I immediately began reaching out to Dennis via his cell phone and through Scott at the office. After about 2.5 weeks, I finally got a call from Dennis telling me his phone was broken or something like that and that he was sending Larry, one of his longtime employees to inspect the issue. Larry came out and looked under the house for a few minutes and tried to blame the hump on possible "water issues", but could not provide any proof, and there was no mention of "water issues" during Dennis' inspection, or the three days his crews spend working on the home. He then changed his story to say that it looks like his crew added one or two shims too many. He then said his opinion is that the home needs six more piers, which officially put his assessment in direct disagreement with the owner, Dennis Riles' original assessment. He then said he would need to charge me an additional $2200 for those six piers. I asked him why this was not quoted from the original "professional" assessment provided by Dennis. His response was that he didn't know why, but this is what he thinks needs to be done. What is interesting is that the crews doing the work never said anything about needing additional piers during or after the time of the work. If they discovered this when they started, I would have likely gone to the other foundation company, or worked out an acceptable agreement at that point in time. I did offer them $1000 additional to come and do the work that Larry says it needs in the spirit of working with them, but at this point, they will not even respond at all. Dennis or Larry will simply not respond to my calls and texts. I am now in a difficult situation where I feel like I need to go to the other company, but that will cost me a lot more than I am asking. I am simply asking for the amount they quoted me they would charge so I can get my home stabilized by the other company and put this behind me. One thing here that is notable. When Dennis was selling me on his company, he stated that his company provides a three year warranty on pier and beam foundations. I thought I received a copy of this at the time of contract, but I cannot find it. I called the office and talked with Scott a week ago and requested a copy. He confirmed the warranty information that Dennis had told me, and said he would get the business office to email it to me. After a week, I called him this morning. He told me that he has been informed that he cannot send this to me, and that he has been instructed that I have to get this from Dennis. I requested this via text to Larry and Dennis. Again, Dennis has not been responsive as of the time I am submitting this complaint. read more

We started getting gaps and slanting in our 1920 Tudor and Bedrock came with not the lowest estimate but the one that was most thorough in the description of the work needed and the price. Company came out and did work for two of my houses. when one side kept cracking i called about the 7 year warrantee they had on the work. asked for 400 dollars to come out and look at it. I was willing to pay it but asked why if we had a warrantee. they stopped answering my calls and i called about 20 times now i have to call another company to fix their work. read more

I called Bedrock Foundation to inspect my pier and beam foundation. The guy came out and literally spent 5 minutes at my house. The bid was emailed to me for 5500.......for shimming. He told me my house was 2 inches lower on one side and that was making my wood floors in ONE room buckle. Today Granite Foundation came out to my house. The guy from Granite was here over 1 hour. It turns out a unhooked dryer vent was causing moisture under the floor which caused it to buckle. Also he used a water level inside........... The house is level and I don't need ANY foundation work! I am disgusted with Bedrock,they are scammers! read more

Stay away. The first day they said they would show up on a Saturday they did not . Not even a call. We called them on Monday and they said they had to reschedule because of the rain. It was a horrible drizzle that day. They came out 3 days later and started to eirk. They never even filed for the required permit or engineering report. Sent the crew sway. do not use. the owner denis showed up at our house. he looked straight out of the 70s, that was a first red flag; his ability to use upto date technology. The second flag went up when I watched him walked around the house with a leveler, a leveler, really? He talked forever and mentioned being sued over 100 times, that was my third flag. It gets better... when denis, was at our house he quoted us 6 piers. however, when we got an official proposal; instead of 6 there were 12 piers. it was very surprising to us how the number doubled on his way to the office. May be he looked at the current bills he needed to pay and decided to increase his number. We asked to second opinion. This company came out with lasers Yes, they do use modern technology and not the 70s retro. They told us -NO WORK needed. Bottom line: bedrock is not driven by your house needs they are driven by their needs and will try to sell you work you do not need. Advise DO NOT USE BEDROCK. denis will lie through his teeth just to get your business. Do not make that mistake and hire some who uses modern technology. PS couple montsh later I heard from mutual friends that denis was telling people that my house had tons of cracks and need tons of repairs. What a high level of professionalism read more
