I saw the new signage and was informed that this business has been renamed "New Cabinet Company." They will carry J&K products as well as New Cabinet items. Customer service was frank and blunt. I paid my $20 and left for the door.

We wanted something more dramatic than our white quartz. Jonathan met with us at various stone stores to point out what size slabs we needed and what slabs were of better quality. We selected our quartzite slabs and when they arrived at MAJ Countertops, he refused them. He called and said there were many fissures in the slabs and 8 out of 10 times they would break apart. They could be repaired, but with the leathered slabs we chose you would see the shiny repair material. Jonathan apologized multiple times. Are you kidding me? We were so thankful he was meticulous in looking out for us! So...we went shopping again. Back to Arista where they graciously moved slabs around for us to make our best choice. Jonathan taped off our chosen quartzite so we could visualize the final product. We were told no other fabricator meets with clients at showrooms, gets slabs moved around, and steers clients toward a finer finished product. And ta-da, here it is...

Dan the owner spent a lot of time at our in home visit to review the scope , made great suggestions on 2 new pots and pan drawers and assured us we would not know they were refaced but would look like new cabinets . We chose a beautiful Maple wood with new drawers on amazing soft close silent hardware . The work crew was professional , skilled craftsmen that figured out every little corner and angle to perfection . I am amazed at the quality of work . The transformation is stunning . Then Dan came to our house and spent a significant amount of time with us explaining our options, showing us samples of cabinets, and answering all of our questions. We opted for several additional options on top of our initial estimate, but we never felt pressured to add or upgrade anything. We initially had hoped to do refacing to improve the overall aesthetic of our kitchen, but we were so excited to discover some of the additional options that were offered that solved functional problems that had always bothered us! When we reached out to Better Than New, we didn't even realize how much they could do besides just refacing. We replaced all of our old, hard-to-open drawers with beautiful, easy to open, soft-close drawers. We added a pull-out drawer for trash and recycling bins. We replaced sagging shelves in our cabinets. And we replaced the shelves in our deep pantry with drawers, making the space SO much more usable and accessible for our tall family. So not only is the kitchen beautiful, but it's so much more functional. There were zero hidden fees. The work was absolutely immaculate. The team was incredibly professional. And the work was done as scheduled and on time - the entire project only took 2.5 days!! I didn't receive estimates from other companies, so I don't know how the price would have compared. But we feel that the finished product, the quality of the materials used, and the professionalism and skill of the team were worth what we paid. We considered seeking assistance from my handyman brother-in-law before looking into Superior Stone and Cabinet, recalling our previous visit to their showroom, where we viewed bathroom and kitchen remodels. We called, and oh my we are SO happy we did!
