I bought a 3 inch Korky toilet flapper for $17 for a Mansfield. It snaps on to the front, but a…read morevery small plastic piece broke off. I did not understand how the black rubber replacement piece fit on...but Korky Co. places a rubber connector to adjust size and probably when that plastic piece breaks off which the flapper swings from. I decided to go back and ask for a replacement flapper since the box says 5-year warranty. I explained to the guy I tried to put the flapper on carefully but the plastic piece broke off not knowing what the black rubber piece was for in the box or knowing how to use it. GOD LOVE KORKY (Wisconsin based company) and YOUTUBE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R23tDHRAn0U Bottomline ...the cashier would not replace the flapper....He agreed to sell me another. I asked why Leeps would not just give me a replacement since there is a 5-year warranty on the box. He replied....."if you would've told me that was the way the flapper was when you opened the box....I would've replaced it. You told me you took it out of the box and tried to snap it on." Shady, isn't it?? He was doing something else on his computer and seemingly did not want to be bothered. BTW.....It was 430pm and I was the only person in the store. I replied..."I didn't want to offend you by lying. I was respectfully being truthful with him because I've always been a loyal customer." I even asked him...."so are you saying I have to touch base with the Wisconsin based company to get a replacement?" He didn't respond. He looked stunned...because I questioned him. I then took a pass on buying the other flapper, left the store, and told him.....I'm going to light it up online. Hence this post. If you read this far........I used to work there in 1991 after college.........probably before he was born. I worked with Sam..Dave...John....Brad.....Cherri.....that's Keefe Norman in the pic on the wall with the football jersey....They all would be very upset at this situation. Nothing is perfect. They sold me something that was entirely inadquate. Something that maybe would be OK for a residence to light up a doorway but nowhere near bright enough to light up the parking lot. Not any were near bright enough by an order of 10 times. And they refuse to accept a return on the items which cost me $400. I will not shop again and will NEVER rely on the judgment of that place. Do NOT use for outdoor lighting or you will be disappointed.
