I would give zero stars if I could. A one day repair has now taken over a week. Among other things, they tried to get me to pay $250 more than I was quoted, they broke something during the repair that needed to be fixed, and I had to return the car almost immediately after picking it up as the repair was not done correctly. To top things off, the repair of what they broke in the car was supposed to be finished today around lunch and I never heard a word from one person at Volkswagen. Very unprofessional and I will never be back except to hopefully pick up my car soon. read more

Back in 2024 my wife and I purchased a brand new Volkswagen atlas. Initially we had picked out a car (our first brand new car) with remote start. They were going to clean it up and pull it out for us. Upon getting it home we realized it didn't have the remote start option (which we told them was a must). So we call and talk to them about giving us the wrong key possibly. That's when we are told it doesn't come with remote start. We settle as they said they would install it. 13 months later they finally decide to do it. Fast forward to this summer. The car has been in and out of the dealership to fix wiring issues. Not just once, today it went in for the same issue for the 6th time! Beechmont has been a nightmare and multiple times refused to help us with a loaner! The service manager has been awful and the way they have handled this situation is far less that satisfactory. Today when I finally decide to take charge of the situation the service manager tells me it is a common problem to just turn the car off, open the door, close the door and start it and see if that "fixed" it. Mr. General Managerof BeechmontVolkswagen (513-388-4415): 1. My 2015 VW Passat was brought in due to fuel gauge was not working. This morning, a mechanics video was sent to me showing the wiring connection on the fuel pump had the wire stretched causing the connection to lose signal to the dashboard. The video clearly shows the Guage working when he reconnected and he stated it was a manufactured defect. 2. There is some discoloration but this in no way affected the operation of the diesel fuel pump and Guage. 3. The Beechmont VW Dealership falsely reported to my Endurance Warranty company that the failure was due to water corrosion. Thereby causing my Warranty company to deny my claim. 4. I am really disappointed that my customer representative did not correctly handle the situation. 5. Customer said it would be $1477 plus tax. These guys handled our deal very smoothly while being short staffed. Tony and the finance manager (name escaping me at the moment) did a great job of providing a comfortable environment for us to buy our car. I spoke with the Service dept to verify that a service was performed and they were great to talk to. F&I closer was a little chatty, and the deals he was proposing weren't 100% clear but I wasn't in the best place to take the call so I kinda rushed through it anyway. Extremely disappointed with service at this dealership! We have been VW owners for over a decade and have always used this body shop. We have been very dissatisfied with our service in the last several months for both of our cars. - Took Beetle in because of engine noise, nothing could be found wrong except for needing an oil change earlier than expected. - Took Beetle in because trunk could only be opened from the inside. Body shop claimed that the inside latch was broken prior to bringing in and they would have to take it completely apart to fix (min cost 1k.) Mind you, I had opened it with no issue prior to driving it over. - At this same visit, when participating in small talk with gentleman behind the desk, he made a sexist remark, "I'm glad I'm not a woman so that I don't have to do any of the Thanksgiving cooking." - Took GTI in for an oil leak. Body shop couldn't find issue and sent us home. - GTI still leaked oil and took it back. Body shop said that it would be a 5k fix. This GTI is a 2015, so we thought long and hard about investing this money. Feel assured by body shop that we would get many more miles by doing this, we moved forward. - After repair was completed, my husband drove off lot and within 30 miles, the engine started making a horrible sound. Now body shop claims we need a new engine which would cost an additional 10k. read more

This is a follow up from a review I posted 2 months ago. After writing the review about the LEMON Beechmont VW sold my son, Steve the sales manager, called me and was so nice and said he would investigate my situation. He never called me back. It was all lip service. Please do not buy from them, we bought a 10k car and it is useless. less than 30 days of bringing the car home it broke down and we had to tow. The premium warranty we bought from Beechmont, that was 4k more, would not pay for the recommended repairs. They picked the repair dealership and us apart. We had to pay 2k more for the repairs and was told by the repair shop they didn't guarantee it would be right since the warranty wouldn't let them complete the correct repairs. Our deductible for this so-called premium plan was only to be $100.00. Again, we had to pay 2k just to get our car, warranty wouldn't pay that part. We have a money pit of an SUV and have lost $16,000 in total. I cannot warn you enough. read more

Up until today, I've been impressed with service department. They did a transmission fluid change with lightning speed and at a fair cost. However, today was different. I had an appointment for my 60k mile service. It consists of an oil change, air filter, and tire rotation. This dealership wanted $240 for this. Shocked, I told them it wasn't in the budget for such a high amount, and told them it might be next month. I then went to the local parts store and bought an air filter. After replacing it in 10 minutes, I called Tire Discounters about doing the oil change and tire rotation. They told me the rotation would be complimentary with the oil change, and that the full synthetic oil and filter change would be about $70 due to the pricey German filter and the 6 liters of oil. Moral of the story, VW of Beechmont does good work at a fair price for certain things, but charges ridiculous amounts for basic maintenance. read more

Honestly, as far as car dealerships go, this one is excellent. When looking to purchase my car almost a year ago, I came here and had a pleasant experience. I wasn't ready to buy that day, and felt no pressure. The salesman (whose name I forget, sorry!) was very informative, ran numbers for me when I asked, and was kind and professional. I ultimately decided to purchase my car through the dealership I was working at, but Beechmont VW has been my go-to for any of my needs. Caleb, in service, has made it incredibly easy to get my key replacement. He handled all the paperwork and phone calls to get my new key (covered under a warranty), and followed up promptly when my key arrived. The parts department even replaced my current key's battery at no cost last time I was here. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I'd certainly recommend purchasing and servicing your VW here. Though my "next car" is a ways away, I will definitely come back here to buy. read more

First let me thank Danielle Teglovic in the service department for the excellent customer service she rendered. I brought my car in for it's oil change and to have initiate a repair issue. I'd also asked for the body shop to look at some grocery cart rash. I knew the car would be there over night, at least, and Danielle fixed me up with a new 2019 VW Atlas (it's humongous, and agile and quite peppy!). So a couple days later Danielle calls me to tell me my car is ready. That grocery cart rash had vanished behind a good buffing by the body shop. Kudos to them too. Not surprising, really. Over these years I've had nothing but good experiences with Beechmont VW. Going there for service is a no-brainer. read more

Beechmont Volkswagen is a brand new dealer located right on Beechmont Ave with easy access from 275. The setup of the dealer is great, with a staging garage that customers can pull their car into and talk with a service adviser regardless of the outside weather. Once inside the dealer, the waiting room is stocked with a pretty good instant coffee machine with other beverages also available. Comfy chairs are also available to kill time while you wait for your service to be completed. Free WiFi is on-site as well as a TV which is either showing news or a local sports channel. The service quality of the dealer seemed very nice, with knowledgeable staff with high attention to detail. No dings, scratches, or even smudges were found on my car after it was finished being worked on. Overall if you need a nice local dealer, Beechmont Volkswagon is easy to find and offers a great alternative for people who live in the Anderson area. read more

My daughter was visiting from out of town and was having an issue with her car and her check engine light was on. The Volkswagen Manual states that when your check engine light is on to take the vehicle directly to a dealer. This was a weekend. We used the overnight drop off box to leave the car and made arrangements for her to have a car to drive back to where she lives, needing to return for work. They sent her an email stating she didn't have an appointment and they wouldn't even look at the car until their first available appointment which would be November first. She asked if they would at least check to make sure it was safe for her to drive to take it some place else and they refused. My husband and I have purchased both of our cars there, the first in 2012 and always had great service even if I just stopped in because there was an issue or a light on or just to top off fluids. For the last year or so the service has been horrible and we will not be purchasing another car from them. My daughter bought her VW in another state because of us buying our 2 cars. The service dept where she was living was always open to any issues and not only would they accommodate her but they also video tape all the work they are doing and they send her the video. Well BEECHMONT VW won't even look at her car let alone offer any kind of quality customer service. This is just unacceptable and unsafe. We will be finding another location to service our car and when the time comes (in the very near future) purchase a car from someplace else. read more

how they trick an international student This shop is unbelievable. You cannot believe how they trick an international college student around the Thanksgiving. (My apology, I am not good at English) A few days ago, I tried to find a new Tiguan, and I find this shop. I discussed a new 4WD Tiguan with them by the e-mail with the manager just the week before I get the wrong car. I checked this with them if this car that you show me by the e-mail is a 4WD or AWD. They said yes and come to see it. I went there on the second day, and a dealer, Tom came and see me and let me try a 2015 Tiguan (no more information about that car, except the year). When I finish my test drive, he said: "let's get a seat." At this time, another dealer, Bill, came and said: "Are you Lin? I got the e-mails from Scott (the manager) and let talk about your Tiguan." (Before this the e-mailed me this information, I just wanted to check in with you again. Scott told me that he has been in contact with you about 2 different Tiguans on our lot. Please let me know which one you are most interested in and when you would like to see it and I will be happy to have it ready for you when you get here. When do you think you might be coming out to see it (them)?" Then he printed the information paperwork for me from the e-mail which Scott show me, the 4WD 4MOTION NEW Tiguan. And we started to discuss the price, at the end of the discussion which I discussed with Bill, I am clear remember what he said:" 30,675 dollars, we have saved you about 3,000 dollar, no lower price for the car."(Something like this) After this, I went back home, because I think the price is too expensive. At that night, I e-mailed Scott, I said 28,000, I will take the car. He replied back, 30,000 (After I find they tricked me, I find Scott changed a number of the car from #TI00540 to #TI36520, and I CANNOT KNOW ANY DIFFERENT JUST BY THE NUMBER, and they use this to trick me.) Then I went back to the shop on the second day, I started to discuss about the price I lowered the price until 29,700. Scott started to prepare the paperwork for me. What makes me feel angry is, until this time, THEY HAVEN'T TELL ME THIS CAR IS A 2WD CAR, NOT THE 4WD WHICH I DISCUSSED WITH HIM BY EMAIL. Then Scott let Tom do the paperwork for me. When I do the paperwork with Tom, I was also try to by an insurance for the car, I asked him, which insurance should I get for my car? He said, the 2WD one. I asked him, I get a 4WD car why I need a 2WD insurance? He said, yes, but your car is not 4MOTION. (I got his voice in my phone that the tired time I checked with him by a call) I haven't realize the problem at this moment. After all the paperwork, I drove back home and start my afternoon class. At the day after I get the car, I find the information paper in the back of my car which they did not put it in the front of my car, I saw the "Front Wheel Drive on the paper". I couldn't believe this and I start to check the VIN of my car, that's it, the same as the paper one. Even I cannot find any paperwork which I did with them shows the car is a 2WD car, except this paper. I feel so angry that they tricked me like this. That day is thanksgiving. I did not find any one in the shop. Then I drove to the shop again at the day after Thanksgiving. I argued with Scott about 2 hours. The points that he tried to contradict me is, I said, you just change the number to me and didn't give any information to me, who can know the information about the car just with the number? Why didn't you tell me the data of the car? You wouldn't believe what he said to me: "Because you didn't ask me. The car you tested is a 2015 2WD Tiguan (In fact, I know nothing about the car which I tested except the year, 2015.)" I said: " In the e-mail, I always talk about a 4WD Tiguan with you, why you trick me and gave me a 2WD?" He just said: "The e-mail is weeks ago. Who can remember that." (In fact, from the first e-mail that I talk with him is just 7 days ago, he said, that weeks ago and he cannot remember them) I told him: "Don't play a number game with me, because I am not good at your language and I am not good at your business." He just said: "The car you drove back, is your car now, you cannot return it except you can resell it back to us, because it's your car now. I owe you nothing." I couldn't believe that is how they did to a foreign student like this way. I am going to find a lawyer to protect me. As what he said: " Just go and do it." I took a car in a few months ago that was loosing oil. This shop did 2 repairs totaling around $800 together. They said the issue was going to continue and I would have to manage it. After "managing" it I have gone to another mechanic and had the issue of bad intake manifold fixed. Beechmont vw waisted my money by replaced the trimming cover gasket. What a waist. Bad service telling a customer to manage a problem rather than look for solutions. read more

This dealership has a solid service department. I always leave with a feeling of confidence my car (MK6 Golf R) has been properly cared for. Being a 6-year old car, and my fir4st ever VW, I want it to last a long time. Great service will see it through, and I know my car gets this from VW Beechmont's service department. My service advisor Ben Coutermarsh gives me very good feedback on all my technical questions, and can even "just talk cars" with me. I took my 2001 Beetle to the service center it had a clutch issue, the car had 150,000 miles on it. It turns out it was a bearing in the clutch, but it had ruined the disc and pressure plate too. Keep in mind it had 150,000 miles on the parts in the clutch, it cost 1,500.00. The " service " center went five days without calling me to let me know what was going on. Six months later the clutch had issues again, turns out the only part of the assembly they didn't replace ( the one with 150,000 miles on it ) was the part that failed, so it wasn't under their warranty. This time they went six days without calling me to let me know what was going on. If I hadn't called, I have no idea when they would have contacted me. So needless to say their " service " department is a money maker for them. My advice to you is not to have any repairs done there, to say I'm disappointed with the outcome of my experience is a monumental understatement! read more

I know this is VW dealer, but I stopped one day as an emergency, and got on the spot help, found out the service tech had not only an extensive VW background but Ford as well. He had my truck fixed in no time. The service advisor was more than friendly and wise as well. She got all my info, showed me to the waiting area, offered me coffee, & showed me the many amenities that they offer at Beechmont VW. She even offered me a ride! I used their computer while I waited, Then one of the parts guys offered to pick me up some lunch! We went to Beechmont VW to take a look at the CC last Saturday. One of the cars we had looked at online had been sold, but the other was still for sale. Loved the look of the car, but the one we looked at smelled like smoke in the interior. We decided to pass on this car, and went to take a look at some of the pre-owned vehicles that were on the lot. Nothing really stuck out for me, and my heart kept going back to the CC. One of the Subaru salesman thought he remembered that VW had just purchased a lease return CC the day before and went to check. Tim brought the car around and that was the one! The car is sleek and sporty - everything I was looking for! The sale went pretty quickly and Tim was great - friendly, gave us a good price, and got us in and out faster than I anticipated. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR ANY SERVICE!!! I recently brought my 2012 vw cc lux limited to the beechmont Volkswagen service center for a routine dsg service ( transmission fluid exchange + filter change ). Upon picking up my vehicle they informed me they installed a system update without my permission. Now I know your thinking, what's the big deal? My CC is custom built, both visually and performance. sponsored by several company's including Edautokey, induktion motorsports, and Volkswagen of America. The system update they performed rewrote the engine computer, deleting the $750.00 performance APR stage 2 custom tune. I brought my vehicle back, after several days they decided to install a new computer to have the ability to retune the computer. When I picked my vehicle up the second time it wouldn't shift, had a very hard misfire, turbo wouldn't produce boost, wouldn't idle, and stalled if I let off the gas. Brought her back yet a third time. They reprogrammed the computer again. Called several hours later informing me it was ready for pickup. Upon arrival found they had ran into something and refused to repair the damage. After talking to the general manager who came out and attempted to clean off the damage. Then claimed the damage was already there. Then changed his story and said there was no damage. I am contacting the dealership owner today to explain the situation before I call my lawyer. After all this I will NEVER return to this dealer for anything. If your wanting rude, unprofessional personnel, who have completed disregard for your safety and belongings this dealership is great. If your wanting honest, professional, knowledgeable technicians who are carefully repairing your vehicle go somewhere else, this service department is not for you!
