Fried clams are delicious. Onion rings were skinny and greasy but their French fries are good. I've eaten there 3 times and also did takeout. Went for lunch on a cold rainy day and got clam chowder. It was delicious but was only lukewarm. Another time I got their scallop plate and while the scallops were delicious, there were only 7 of them. I thought $26.95 was a little pricey for 7 scallops. THE BEST Authentic New England Seafood out side of NE, as well as the family. This is BY FAR the best seafood I've had outside of 'back home'. I was born in MA, raised in Hampton NH. (seacoast NH FYI who don't know) Dan the owner and chef knows what he's doing... Like "expert knows what he's doing." Getting fried seafood out still hot but NOT still soaked in the grease is an ART. Dan nailed it. Also, the breading? Absolutely magnificent. Light, crispy and delicious. Jen the waitress/hostess was great! Friendly and fun. The the food itself? I had the Captains Platter. ($29.99) WELL worth it. Haddock/Shrimp/Scallops and Clams w/onion rings instead of fries. The clams? OMFG... ACTUAL 'proper' fried clams w/the BELLY!!! (it's an acquired taste thing/local NH thing) You NEVER find that ANYWHERE down here. Hell, here? You NEVER find clams w/bellies anywhere! The shrimp listed as medium were larger than I expected. The scallops? I got 9 on the plate which was great considering the market price and were goodly sized as well. The haddock was done to perfection. OVERALL: A++++ and ANYONE and EVERYONE from 'back home' who misses GREAT New England seafood needs to check this place out ASAP. In fact a couple that came in while the wife and I were there were from NH as well... maybe we need to start an 'eat-in' group on Facebook for this place right? A great, new family restaurant with fast, friendly service and a nice nautical ambiance , Beef & Sea has a lot to offer! We ordered the chicken quesadilla as an appetizer and it was perfectly grilled & chock full of chicken & cheese and was really tasty! The new clam chowder is really good too! I had the absolutely delicious baby back ribs and pulled pork! I've also really enjoyed their French Dip Au Jus and the chicken Parmesan sandwich too! We found that the crispy and delicious homemade onion rings are a wonderful side to a sandwich or burger! They have lots of seafood and a variety of salads to choose from as well. We usually enjoy a nice cold beer with our meal, but wine is popular as well. There is so much variety here, there is something for everyone! We keep coming back for more! read more

We were really excited to try a new place. When we walked in, there were at least five employees and no customers at 6:45 on a Saturday night. The place was really clean and nice. The onion rings were good, albeit lacking flavor. That's where the positives end. The French dip, roast beef sandwich, and the open faced roast beef were flavorless. The meat tasted as if it had been microwaved. It had no seasoning at all (confirmed by an employee). It was also cold. The French fries were hot and crisp but unsalted. We were definitely unimpressed and will not be returning. Sad because we really wanted another place to add to our rotation. read more

Born and raised in Massachusetts where this style roast beef sandwich originated from. Could not wait to get an authentic one down here in florida. The onion rings were delicious and the roast beef was decent. The place is very clean and the staff was great. The prices are also decent. So coming from New England when you order a "super beef" which is the largest you can order it is a specific size and quality. what i got was not that. The beef could of been more rare and I got less than half the amount of beef that should be on the sandwich. It was a small sandwiches amount. The top and bottom bun were touching all around the sandwich. Normally a super beef should have no grey meat and a thick stack. They are a new restaurant so hopefully they get this dialed in. With all of that said I will be returning to see if they improve as this is my favorite sandwich that reminds me of home. read more

Just tried Beef and Sea. They just opened a day or so ago and the menu looked amazing so we decided to give it a try. We had the potato skins to start. It was only a half order and there were still 8 skins and the were wonderful! I had the Scallops and Shrimp combo and subbed out onion rings for the fries. Everything was amazing! My wife had the open face roast beef and it was so fresh she could hardly stop eating it. We will definitely be coming back! (Also very clean very friendly service!) read more

I have to say, this was a BIG disappointment. We were so excited to try this place, but there's nothing special about it. Roast beef sandwich, turkey sandwich (missing the ordered cheese) just ok. If you want condiments or lettuce or tomato, I guess you have to ask for them as they are made with meat and bread only. Shrimp po' boy had no flavor and served with tails on! Fries had zero seasoning/flavor and soggy. I hope they work out their kinks, they have potential. read more

Being from New England and having a 40 year work career in seafood operations and purchasing I drooled when hearing about this place opening soon. Waiting for the day I would see a menu and to my surprise Boker's Corner posted an update of the opening. We waited a few days after the opening and decided to go midday. The place was set up in a nautical theme with soft gray colors and a few accent walls. Very pleasant atmosphere. The service was prompt and friendly. The whole belly clams were very tasty but a bit on the small belly size and the portion was just short of what we expected. The waiter said the bellies were large. The shrimp roll was very good according to my daughter, but 1st came out as a tail-on dinner but was switched to a roll with the tails still on. The bistro potatoes were very good and seasoned well. Definitely a return visit next week to try something different on their broad menu. Just some minor glitches but remember the place is 2 days old and will only get better. I'm from New England so I recognize good Sea Food. I tried Beef & Sea on the recommendation of a friend who told me it was much like our food up home. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had whole belly clams which are hard to find here in Florida. Their combination fried sea food was very good. Fried to perfection and plentiful. Pricing was also good value. My only disappointment was that they didn't have clam chowder which I always like with my Seafood. I think they also need to expand their menu to include some baked or broiled products. read more
