I've visited several Beef 'O' Brady's over the years and this was my second visit to the Bartow, Florida location. During my first lunch visit, the service was excellent! I didn't have to wait long for a table, the server was prompt and polite and the food came out hot and ready. During my second lunch visit, (during the same week), I had to wait a while to be seated. It appeared that the hostess was personally busy visiting a friend at a table. It took a bit of time for the server to see me, (only because she had no idea someone else sat me in her area). I was ready to place my complete order but my food came out slower than the previous day. Although my burger was hot, my fries were cold. My server was good, but I didn't have much more positive points than that. Maybe, if the owner who was also visiting that same table, stopped by... my opinion may have changed. Honestly don't know why I decided to stop in today. This place is usually dirty. At the time this picture was taken, I counted 5 tables that were being served. The boneless wings and fries came out cold. When they brought it back, you could tell everything had been reheated because it was piping hot in some areas and still cold in other areas. We were in the area for a band performance at the local high school. Beefs has a tendency to be pretty consistent, plus it was late. My map application gave me bad directions but we still found it without a problem. This one is located at the end of a strip mall. Upon entering we were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was very friendly and personable and made us feel welcome. My companions had the barbecue bacon cheeseburger and the garden salad. Both were excellent. I found something different to try, the buffalo chicken salad. I had it with light Italian dressing which are server found a little unusual. I personally thought it was a fantastic salad and I finished the entire thing. I would definitely go back to this location again if I was down in the area. read more

Everything about today's experience was just sad. The manager, Christina, was the one to seat us. Never said a word to us or even smiled. It was like we were inconveniencing her. We ordered the sampler appetizer and they left off numerous items. The food that was there was mostly overdone. They begrudgingly made the missing items for us. The server, Madison P, never came back to check on us or for refills. We had to get her attention to get the check and when she dropped off our card and check she neglected to provide us with a pen to finish the process. Food was just okay. Ordered street tacos. Service was almost annoying, it was like she (the waitress) was in a hurry for me to leave. Been to other Beef 'O' Brady's and the service was much better. First off I am giving this a 2 because my food was gross and the service was terrible. I ordered the prime rib garlic melt which sounded amazing. The bread was supposed to be pressed on garlic Cuban bread, the bread was soggy and didn't taste any garlic at all(description of sandwich below). It had raw red onioions in it which is strange for a prime rib sandwich, usually it is cooked white onion. It came out cold without the au jus. I asked for the au jus and received it 15mins later. This "au jus" literally tasted mine canola oil with some Italian seasoning! This was literally the nasty prime rib sandwich I have ever tried. I didn't even eat it and they didn't even offer to make me anything else cause it was too late. Had to spit out the fish as it was dried and surrounded by hard un-chewable batter. Curly fries were cold and also overcooked. Me and my family went here after a day at the pool and we got in just before 7 and they were doing bingo night. They sat us in the middle of the open dining area where they were doing the bingo. We waited over 20 minutes and didn't get greeted once. Our breaking point was a group getting sat and greeted right away. As we were standing up to leave a server had started walking towards us but we were not gonna stay at that point. Never been to beefs before, probably never will. read more

My co-workers and I were deciding what we would have for lunch. Because I've had the grilled chicken salad before from a different location and it was good I ordered it and convinced them to order it too. We ordered the lunch portion with extra chicken and this is what they sent. There is no way this is extra chicken. We tried to call but the call kept dropping or saying it was unavailable. Gosh... in the past we have enjoyed Beef's. Northside Beef's was always consistent. Maybe was an off day - but food was not as indicated on the menu. I didn't want Thousand Island dressing on my shrimp wrap. Boom boom shrimp was fried hard with some dressing (Thousand Island) w/ a kick drizzled on top. A couple of friends and I stopped here for lunch on a recent road trip we were taking that took us through this town. It took us a bit to find the location as it was hidden off the main roadway in a strip mall. The interior was typical Beef O' Brady's fare and nothing spectacular. It did appear to be quite busy for a lunch crowd in this area, which was a good sign for us I suppose. Our waitress was quick to take our drink orders and greet us once we were seated. I ordered some boneless dry rub wings, which were actually quite decent. My friends ordered the chicken wrap and both seemed content with their selections. Our server made frequent visits to check on us throughout our meal here. Overall, a decent place to stop and grab a quick bite. read more

A local expanding chain of sports pub style food and atmosphere. Service is great here, food is your normal comfort a la beer. Place is kinda dark. Recommend nachos, salads, sandwiches, wings! Don't recommend steak salad (too expensive for what you get, lousy coated steak, not cut up well, mediocre balsamic). 1/19/13. I lowered two stars from original three after this experience. Place is way too dark, appears dirty (table was very clean). Diet coke tasted funny--comes from a collective machine that serves all the Coke products--the recipe had to be off though they insisted it was Diet Coke. Second one tasted worse. Nachos were burnt. queso tasted burnt too. Paid $12 for this mid-day "snack". read more

Let me start out with saying that I love buffalo chicken! So you can imagine how it was a tough choice to get the 20 shrimp meal but it just looked so good in the menu. I was a little hesitant to order that much food for lunch but I was in the mood for some shrimp. "Fortunately" the food that came out looked nothing like the picture in the menu because it was like half the amount. Absolutely shameful. We ordered to go at the bar, the bartender shook us off after we ordered. We were there over 30 minutes and she never even asked us for something to drink. I am very sad to write a poor review because we LOVE the other locations but this one was an epic fail. Walked in, sat down, got ignored by 4 passing servers for well over 5 minutes. Male manager finally came over and found us a server, who had an "I don't give a hoot" attitude and was more concerned with flirting with the manager. Which I wouldn't have cared, had I not had to track her down for refills, food orders, etc. Booths are ripped, wasps attack you at the front door, and it just could use a little TLC. WiFi goes in and out every 3-5 minutes. The game we went to see wasn't half over when our server slammed down the receipt and disappeared again..ummm...ok? No asking if we wanted dessert, more food, more drinks, etc. As a former server, I usually tip 25% but this service was just ridiculous. Football Sundays should be easy money makers for sports bars but not with this service, unfortunately. read more
