Ok. Found this place on the way to the hotel. The young hostess needs some training. Thought I was with 2 different parties of people. Forgot to give me a kids menu for my very visible young child. Amazing service from start to finish. Told our waitress it was our first time at the restaurant. This place is usually on but I think we hit them on an off night. My wife got her usual meatloaf which she loves and I went safe with some wings. I really didn't like the wings. The sauce was good but the wings themselves tasted strange. I ate about half brought the rest home and ended up putting it in the trash. I've had the wings before and really liked them but not this time. The Fire Rita is great and the French fries were incredible!! I visited Glory Days on a Wednesday night where they were displaying the Hockey game on many TV screens (great place to visit to enjoy sports). The server was good and the environment was chill and calm; a nice way to end the evening. We ordered the ribs with sides of Mac and Cheese (presentation could be better, but it was tasty), fries, and broccoli. We also ordered the Buffalo wings. All of the food was just okay. The wings were fried well, but there wasn't much flavor to the sauce or wings. I absolutely love almost all wings, as long there's flavor and they're crispy; therefore, I was a little disappointed. For the drinks, the sangria was probably the best I've ever had. It was fruity and flavorful, without watering down the liquor. The margarita snuck up on me! Great drinks. The food is honestly pretty bad. It's super basic sports bar & grill food and that's all I can give it. The wings are average, the nachos are average and so are the appetizers. One thing I do love is that they will make gluten-free nachos which my friend with Celiac appreciates tons. But again, just don't come here solely for the food, or you will be disappointed completely. Even the service is just super lackluster. I've picked up DoorDash orders from here and it's always hit or miss if they'll be ready on time or if a worker will even be around to help you. When you sit in the waitress may just straight up avoid you for 10-15 minutes at a time. All of its spotty. Seriously, just come for the drinks. They are fantastic prices for really big glasses. No complaints there, when the expectations aren't set higher. Keep the bar loooooowwww. It's painful, but Glory Days really doesn't seem a name and place reminiscent on an old sports bar that actually had good food and service along with its drinks. We came here for an early dinner when we had errands in the area. It did not disappoint. Before we even entered, the smell of burgers on the grill greeted us. Made my stomach growl to be honest. It's a sports bar, l mean what do you expect from the name, right? We aren't big sports people, but luckily we were sat where we each had a view of something interesting to us on a screen - for my husband it was a car auction of fancy cars with obscene prices and sports bloopers for me. Lol With so many screens, there was bound to be something interesting! The place was clean and we were waited on immediately by Coleman, a young waiter who did a fabulous job of taking care of us, always making sure we had everything we needed without hovering. We started off with two beers (not too impressed with their beer list, but that is typical for most places sadly, but they did have something we liked), and an appetizer of Chips and Guacamole. The guacamole was very fresh and chunky - delish. The chips were from a bag, no big deal, but the salsa was very good. We enjoyed it. Soon, our entrees arrived. My husband ordered the Glory Days Cheesesteak, the way it comes with no changes. It comes like a regular cheesesteak it with lettuce and tomato. He said it was very good, and he's glad that he tried it, but he'll go back to the regular way from now on. He really liked the waffle fries it came with. I had the Swiss Mushroom Onion Burger but had the waffle fries substituted with onion rings. Good choice, the onion rings were excellent. That burger was fantastic. Good "crust" on the outside, tasty but not hard, thick and cooked just right. Tangy Swiss, just the right amount of onions and mushrooms. I should have eaten just half, but I ate the whole thing. We came to this location during a soccer tournament. We were a party of over 25 with no reservation. We came in and Coleman created us and did not even hesitate to say he would take our table. He did this all alone and we have never had better service in 2 years! Usually I am our team assistant order and will take orders and run food, but he handled it all on his own!! Anyone with a big group or party I highly recommend this location and highly suggest asking for Coleman! He went above and beyond to serve us and deserved all the praise in the world! Your typical sports bar chain, average American food like wings and burgers. Huge drinks and a large selection of beer to chose from, if you want to watch any football games this is your place to go. They have a decent size patio with multiple TVs and you can request a speaker for your table so you can hear the commentary too. They do not have any veggie burgers or vegan options so I wasn't able to eat while there for a few hours. (Reason as to why I didn't give a higher star review) Adding at least one vegan option like the Beyond Burger would be a huge improvement and make me want to come back more often. They did have multiple $5 app and beer specials throughout game time which increased to $6 specials at some point on the Saturday evening we were there. Please be advised, my husband and I have enjoyed their fish fry every Friday. I want to say it was $11 for a nice piece of fish, fries, and coleslaw. I admit it's delicious, however I've decided after my last visit that I'll no longer be dining here again. The first problem was a dirty plate, husband had a dirty fork. They were replaced for us, I was nervous since I've worked in this type of restraint before. You can always tell how clean a business is by #1 BATHROOM- this should always be clean and stocked, I went against my own rule and still went to Glory day's even though there bathroom's are truly disgusting. My husband and I went for the Friday fish fry, after the discovery of the dirty plate and fork, we proceeded to stay. The fish fry was not as good as usual, and the most upsetting thing for me was... After drinking half of my drink, I noticed how dirty my cup was!!! It truly made me sick to my stomach, these issues were brought up to our waitress whom apologized. I didn't ask for a manager, I really just wanted out of there. I did clearly tell her to inform her manager of our experience, wasn't wanting compensation at ALL!! Visiting Lakeland today... stopped into Glory Days for lunch. Walked in - hit in the face with a nasty dirty dishrag smell!! Sooo disgusting!! We walked up to the bar, sat down, greeted immediately/friendly! But wow - that smell - what a turn off! Ordered a burger (no cheese/medium) and the smoked turkey sandwich (turkey is made in house) with chips. Service truly was friendly and great! Burger was cooked perfectly!! But honestly food was underwhelming... my sandwich although has plenty of meat was so greasy I thought I might slide off my chair if I touched my hands to my seat! The turkey was incredibly salty and I'm someone who salts her food. Thank goodness I didn't salt first and ask questions later. The house made chips were good/hot but I think they put their salt on the sandwich. Memorable for all the wrong reasons... they're getting 3* because of the service or it would've been 1*!! read more

This is the better sports bar & restaurant in our area with quite a lot of competition with chains such as Beef's, Hooters, Champs etc. The three times we've been over the last year, the restaurant has stood out. Staff are always well-prepared and engaging, & Brandy was super this visit.
