Service once again was outstanding . Good management makes for a good team and it really shows !!!!

I had a pretty bad dining experience here. It has a nice patio that makes for a pleasant outdoor dining experience, but that's about all it has going for it. Unfortunately, the service really brought down the whole experience. Our server was slow, not particularly helpful, and barely checked in with us. The whole staff seemed inattentive, which made for a frustrating visit. The food took an incredibly long time to arrive, and when it finally did, it came out at different times instead of all together, so some people were done eating before others even got theirs. That kind of staggered service just made the wait feel even longer. Other than the patio, the only other decent thing about this place was the classic chicken rice comfort bowl, which was actually pretty good. It tasted fresh, had solid seasoning, and a mild kick that gave it a bit of personality. Overall, while the patio and one good dish helped slightly, the slow and unfriendly service really killed the vibe. Would not be in a hurry to return. read more

We live nearby and finally decided to give this place a try on a Friday evening around 6 PM. After a brief adventure trying to determine whether we should seat ourselves, wait to be seated, or simply wander aimlessly until someone noticed us, we were eventually escorted to a table across from a very large group. Our server was pleasant and attentive, which unfortunately became the high point of the evening. We both ordered the fish basket and were impressed by how quickly it arrived. In hindsight, that should have been our first clue. What showed up bore only a passing resemblance to fish. We were expecting fillets. What we received looked more like deep-fried hockey pucks stuffed with a mysterious gray paste. The exterior was so hard that cutting into it was less "dining" and more "archaeological excavation." Instead of slicing, the crust shattered into fragments while revealing a greasy interior that looked as though fish had once been described to it by someone over the phone. Thinking perhaps one piece had escaped quality control, we opened all of them. Consistency, at least, deserves recognition--they were all equally terrible. Every puck contained the same gray, mushy filling with no visible flakes, texture, or other evidence that an actual fish had participated in the process. The flavor was equally impressive, if the goal was to create something that made us question our life choices. We each managed a couple of bites before surrendering. To be fair, the onion rings were excellent. In fact, if the fish basket had simply contained more onion rings, this review would be very different. Friends from out of state were visiting and chose Beef O'Brady's at Mulberry Grove for supper. Arrived just before 6pm on a Thursday night. Restaurant was busy and checking counter is right at front door and feels very crowded when 3 people stand there, never mind the two groups of 4 that arrived simultaneously. We were seated promptly. Lots of food choices on menu and we spent a few minutes making our decisions. Although busy, the wait for food wasn't long. Two of us had Asian rice bowls which had a tangy zingy taste and was enjoyed. Other meals were Philly steak sandwich and the Ribeye Steak sandwich, both with fries. All meals were enjoyed. Located in shopping plaza, there's plenty of parking. And because they're next to The Villages, lots of people drive golf carts instead of cars. There is an outdoor patio area that seemed to catch some of the dinner overflow. Interior of restaurant was dark, a/c was cold (almost freezing) and loaded with seasonal decorations. Gave this a try and wont be back. Once seated on a not very busy night, nobody was assigned to the table. After awhile a server said she didn't know we were there. Food was average. I got the Beef Obrady Burger last night and it was Absolutely Disgusting! The hamburger itself is about a 1/4 inch thick with absolutely NO FLAVOR and served nice and cold. How do you screw up a hamburger? The fries were also cold and LIMP, I know they were sitting around for quite some time. I took one bite of the burger and ate a couple of fries then threw it all in the rubbish. This place likes to take advantage of all the elderly people from The Villages. Very good restaurant. The food is aways. Oh yes this is one of the good ones to remember. I've ordered takeout from there and it's always been good and it's a favorite for mine ! Like the beef sandwich and my wife likes the chicken wraps and we have it delivered so I'm not sure what the service is like but I can tell you that the ambiance is really great read more

We should have read the reviews first...other than the good deal on Happy Hour drinks, it was unfortunately a waste of money. Bummer. Our waitress was not a happy camper. We tried to be very nice and appreciative, but she wasn't receptive to it. I hope her night gets better. They wings (and we've had them at the Wachula location and they were great) were disappointing. Buffalo sauce was okay, but they needed to be crispier. They had a sort of slimy texture to them. We would have said something but doubted we'd get a decent response, especially with the waitress's mood. Fries were undercooked a bit. Coleslaw was very good. Celery must have been frozen prior to serving. Good pours on well drinks, so that was nice. We did notice that they were very attentive to the older guests (it was raining and they were quite helpful at getting them in and seated) and that was good. But unfortunately, the food/service was not what we've experienced at other locations. We will not return. read more

Horrible customer service and management. I understand everyone is short handed, but at least acknowledge those at the door trying to get a table. Also management could at least say sorry and they would speak with employees. No we were blamed for the inconvenience and trying to give them customers/sales. I wish I could give negative stars. This was the worst food I've ever had at a restaurant. My nieces chicken nuggets were as hard as a rock. The honey mustard was a white color and nasty. We were seated, ordered two Fajitas, when the bill came my husband presented his proof of service, the server than said "Oh sorry, we don't offer the Veterans special on the daily special"! Our family went for a birthday party to this location. It is very hard for us all to get together. But this is where the Birthday girl chose. If I can say in the most it was the worst experience we have ever had. Half of our party had to move due to ceiling leakage . The manager came out and said oh we're sorry the rain must have caused this .. obviously not due to the water damage we saw in the tile. my fagitas came out about 10 minutes before the rest of our party's food. so I waited to eat them . Which In turn were the worst I've ever had. my daughters boneless wings were rocks. we ended up getting her dinner later. At no point did anyone enjoy their food. all I can say is we will never be back. sorry my $100 can be better spent elsewhere read more

Seems a handful of frozen french fries and a hamburger patty earns 3 stars on this forum...Kinda makes one wonder where the "taste" really is? This is one of several in the area, they all suffer from the same problems...You see, "tweenagers" manage and staff all of the restaurants in the area...Tweenagers, are twenty somethings and teens that "bounce" from one restaurant job to another...Bottom line is your food, service and experience suffer. I went in and ordered 10 wings to go I told the bartender I would like them crispy please she said OK no problem she gave me a bag 25 minutes later with my wings for dinner in it I drove home I opened up the box and they were barely cooked , fat was still soft ,but they were pretty orange so the hot sauce at least look good I'm leaving on a flight in a few hours so I could not take it back so I called and talk to the bartender and she could care less ,she said oh ,and therefore I could care less and I will never go back her name was Kayla Review update . 3-14-19 Did you know that they don't use a dishwasher to clean and sanitize the dishes, baskets, glassware, and cutlery.... the bartender does part of it in their sink at the bar, and some go in the kitchen sink.... We have given this restaurant many chances as it is right down the street.... but every time the service is just horrible.

The place was half empty about 6:30 on a Thursday it took about 5 minutes before we are approached coupon for appetizers but it was only for a few items it took 30 minutes to deliver the food the waiter was rude we had asked for silverware and then you had to leave a tip based on their handheld menu I will never come back to this place the food was poor quality and cold I'm in the restaurant business for 30 years and it was the worst service ever read more

My wife ordered the $14 double hamburger with no bacon and one piece of cheese. We also advised the waitress of my wife's pork allergy. Apparently the cook was upset because of the need to accommodate my wife so she ended up with charcoal hamburger and fries for $14. We also ordered wings but they too, were overlooked and hard. My Watterson was nothing to brag about We have eaten in numerous Beef Obradys but this was the first negative experience. It's a great place for food and fun! The hot wings are a different blend than most. It's more of a spice taste than a hot sauce or "Tabasco." The "Nuclear" is definitely not the hottest as they say but in no way is it mild! My husband is the expert on wings as I think he's tried all the wings in Florida and he gives a B-! My food was horrible. Waited 2 hours we did have a big group but still very bad food and not pleased with the place at all.

We are new to the area, it was our first visit to this restaurant. There is a sign that says grand re-opening, it had an odd smell (should have been a tip off). We were there around 6:00 yesterday, not crowded, were told to seat ourselves. Chose our booth, which happened to be right next to the ladies who told us to seat ourselves. Came right to us with menus and we ordered a beer and a water, which came quickly. More people then started filling up the seats. We looked over the menu, was sure to close them up (should be a sign to any good server, that hey we have decided!!!). But nope, every table that was seated after us was brought drinks and had their order taken. We literally sat for about 10 minutes, finished our drinks and stood up to leave. That is when the waitress looked surprised to see us...like we were invisible the whole time we were at the table. I was ready to put down $2.00 for the beer, I asked her how much and see said, "Oh!! Don't worry about it." Won't be going back. We did however enjoy a nice dinner at Cody's Roadhouse, which is also in the plaza. UPDATE: GM for the location contacted me and apologized for our experience. Stated her staff should know better and will redirect them on how to better service guests. If you like a nasty and surly waitstaff then this is the place for you. It seems they go out of there way to hire obnoxious and rude people. They act as if you're doing them a favor by waiting on you. And if you are really rude you're promoted to bar tender. The food is what it is, it's Beef O' Brady's after all. Our golf group of 8 ate there 5/5/16 at 6:45 pm. First of all, 2 waitresses couldn't agree who would wait on us. We finally placed our drink order and it took 10 minutes to get the drinks. Our food order took 45 minutes. After waiting 20 minutes we asked where our food was, the waitress said the chicken wings took 15 minutes. Our food finally came 25 minutes later. The fries were barely warm and my Philly Cheesesteak didn't have enough meat on it. My wife's grilled chicken wrap was warm at best. They didn't care. We won't be back. read more
