My husband and I chose to sit outside since it was such a beautiful, less humid day. Our server, Jermaine, was attentive, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I ordered the shrimp tacos, and they were outstanding. The shrimp were plentiful, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The combination of feta, onion, and light seasoning complemented the shrimp without overpowering the flavor. My husband ordered the Big League Meatball Sub, and it was a big hit! The meatballs were flavorful, smothered in marinara sauce, and topped with Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. The toasted roll held together perfectly, making it easy to enjoy every bite. For our side, we chose the Sidewinder Fries. At first, we had to ask where our fries were because we didn't realize the curled potatoes in front of us were them--but wow, they were incredible! EDIT: Since I posted this glowing review almost a year ago, the food and service has gone downhill. My Mahi tacos were "finger food sized' that looked like a meal for a hobbit. No chips, no extra sauce. And the worst part: our overworked server seemed to abandon us after we finished. She sheepishly said she'd been taking care of outside tables. It's sad to see a restaurant cut back so much, it's almost like they're asking for people to stay away. Oh....and the "Toast" frequent dining app is no longer accepted. No more!!! Tonight's experience was better than visits in the past. While still relatively new and working out some kinks, it is getting better as time goes on. Came here for lunch. Inside the waiting area is "stadium seating" which look really uncomfortable if you have a long wait for a table. Inside Dining area looks a bit small with the majority of the seating Outside and a view of the course. Reservations can be made on their website which are probably recommended as this is a new and only open restaurant in the area. Ordered the Guinness & Bacon Jam Cheeseburger and Tater Tots. I ordered no bun but was clearly ignored and served on a bun also ordered it medium- well and the burger was served medium. The Burger did not have a good texture as it fell apart trying to eat and the Bacon Jam was not good. I would not order this burger again. All the burgers are served with one side even though the menu does not indicate this, my server said that it was omitted at the time the menu was printed and the restaurant did not want to re-print 1000 menus. I would probabley try a different entree next time. Keep in mind this a sport bar type restaurant and not fine dining. read more

They do have outdoor seating with a nice view. Something for everyone on the menu. Started with Onion Rings. Delicious! So excited that I didn't get a picture until there was only one left! We visited Boosters for the first time on Monday afternoon. The restaurant was clean and the AC was pumping (doing its job in the FL sun). We're hopeful when the water arrived with a twirly pick on the lemon (fancy!). Had the Philly sandwich (8/10) good flavor but not a huge amount of meat. Chicken strips had great crust, fresh, with a slight pickle taste. (Good, but we don't care for pickles.) Star of the meal, sidewinder fries. Would order those again! The outdoor patio is one of my favorites in The villages. We were hoping to sit at the outside bar, but that was closed for the season. My friend got chicken fajitas and she really enjoyed her meal. They do have an outdoor fly issue and have spinning fly fans available to set at your table. Really wish they had more vegetarian options like a vegetarian burger. Not crazy about the vegetarian sandwich. Wanted to try the vegetarian hotdog, but heard it was just heated up and not placed on a grill or in a pan to fry/crisp it up so didn't get that. I have no axe to grind with whoever owns this place and did not visit it to write a hit piece, but flies on the flatware and everything else is gross, and not to be expected when dining inside. HEAVY IRRIGATION MIST ON PATIO: 1 STAR We initially asked to be seated outside as the temperatures were nice. Sadly, even though we were sort of in the central part of the patio, the irrigation water was misting all over us, and we had to move inside. I do not know how common it is for those high volume sprinklers to be running, when the prevailing wind is blowing towards Boosters. All I know is that it was doing it when we were there. One woman closer to the railing than us was holding up a linen napkin to shield herself from it. She and her party did not move though. If she knew what I know, she would have. The irrigation water in the southern part of The Villages is NOT the same as the water that comes out of the drinking taps. It is "reclaimed" from road runoff or barely strained aquifer water. I just cleaned my irrigation filter this morning, removing green stench scum. Trust me, you do not want this water on your face, your lips, your flatware, the hands you grip the burger with. We were getting steadily more moist as we sat perusing the menu, would have been out and out wet had we stayed in those seats. Maybe this is a rare event, as The Villages is still dumping water post hurricane. So one and done for me, but maybe a good place to come with the lads after golfing. read more
