This such a great local hangout. The area is up and coming. Everyone was just relaxing and enjoying life in Montana. We had 15 in our group and spent the afternoon hanging out. The beer was good and it was neat to see the beer processing in the background. The group really enjoyed the huckleberry hard seltzer. Great place to stop by while in the area. We had a beer flight, tried everything on tap, and had a few glasses of our favorites. The highlight of the day was the Coffee Stout. People also liked different beers based on their normal preferences (the IPAs, a Scotch something or other, and a Gose). There were a few beers that need work, notably the cream ales. The bartenders were gruff and had little patience, but I didn't find it off-putting myself. Other reviews mention this, so it seems like a regular thing. read more

Cool atmosphere if you're looking for somewhere to grab a craft beer and hang with locals. I had their 'sour'. Although not sour enough for me, it was full of hops and good flavor. I wish I would have bought a zip up sweatshirt! Their clothing and logo is pretty sweet. read more

I'll start with I'm a tourist and did not feel welcome here! We entered the establishment at 7:50 and didn't get waited on until 8:02. The bartender informed us that they couldn't serve beer from draft after 8 PM but could sell it to us in a can. We order several beers and we're about to sit down to open them, when we were approached by a lady. She told us that she worked there but wasn't working there at this time. Then she rudely asked us if we understood that we couldn't consume the beers we just purchased on premise. I'll be honest I don't know the local micro brewery beer laws but this lady decided she was going to educate us about them. It felt like a place for locals and not geared towards visitors. I'd take my business elsewhere! read more

Was so excited Big Sky got another brewery! I've been here a couple times now and like it more every time. Awesome vibes and great beer. Good place to go after a long day skiing. My sister knows me too well. When I cam out to see her, she took me my first night. What an awesome brewery to help you fight jet lag! Loving IPA, I tried their Space Crazy Kitten (or something like that) Double IPA. I wish they sold some of their beers here in Georgia! Finding out they were named from a local trail in the area, I made it a mission to climb it while I was in Big Sky. The trail was just absolutely gorgeous pretty much from start to finish. And then there is like going to the brewery that took its name from the trail and drinking away a day of hiking. I will definitely be back to the brewery when I am in Montana again!! read more

First off, the beer is great. I had the Baltic porter and the coffee stout a few months ago and I'm STILL raving about how well-rounded and delicious they were. Unique selection too, not just your basic Amber, Lager, IPA round up of beers. These guys are brewing new beer styles that aren't so common. Atmosphere was fun, smartly decorated and low key. Beautiful space without being stuffy. I'm giving it 4 stars though because of the bathroom situation...there's only one and while it's clean, I don't totally enjoy having to wait after a bunch of dudes. read more

Staff is friendly and attentive, and will get to your needs as soon as they deal with the guy in front of you. Some have been triggered by stickers that various clientele bring in, but that is called free speech. It isnt policy.... Everyone is welcome to drink the best local beer in BigSky! A trip to Big Sky wouldn't be complete without a stop here. I actually went 3x in a week. It seems like the clientele is a mix of tourists and locals and there is a 3 Beer maximum because of Montana law. My favorite beer was their saison, though I don't know how often their beers change. In the summer months they have two huge garage doors open and it's basically like sitting outside...plus the view is amazing. You can bring food in and it's family friendly. It's also a great place to go after hiking to Beehive Basin and write a few postcards. read more

This brewery has only been open for 3 years, and they are doing it well! The Mosaic Pale Ale was a favorite of the group. Not being a hard core beer drinker, I enjoyed the Barrel Aged Bragdot Meade. Fabulous new beer tasting room! I have been here many times since they opened and my experience has been exceptional every time. I have tried all the beers and they are all superb. My favorite is probably the Porter and IPA, but it's hard to choose. The owners are passionate about what they're doing and have created a great atmosphere to go along with their great beer. On a side note, I am highly allergic to gluten and I can drink this beer, as it's been treated to reduce the gluten content. read more
