Eclectic restaurant in downtown Main Street Bozeman! The 2 most popular drinks: Coconut Lime Rickey (I wasn't too pleased as it tastes like Greek yogurt... & the GFC which is very ginger forward, but thoroughly enjoyed). The Jidori Chicken was quite salty. I did enjoy the arancini it came with. My favorite were the Carne Asada Skewers! Overall everyone was happy, just a few taste differences for me. Service as fantastic with Sienna!

It was my first time in Bozeman, arriving after a two-hour flight delay. I stopped in for a quick happy-hour bite and a customized Old Fashioned made with mezcal. Both were delicious. The bartenders were incredibly friendly, and I loved their confidence with custom cocktails. When bartenders are comfortable making whatever a guest is in the mood for, I know I've found the right place. The ambiance is spot-on too--traditional décor with a modern edge. They also carry all my favorite mezcals and whiskies behind the bar. Thanks, Plonk!

So I read a lot of reviews and blogs and other posts about how good the coconut lime rickey is here at Plonk. I love a good cocktail and the restaurant we had eaten at before coming here had none so we knew we had to have "dessert" here. We came in to a sign that said seat yourself. We did, at a cozy little spot near the front door. The table has real candlelight, all of the tables do, so there's this beautiful ambiance of dancing light that envelopes this larger than it looks from the outside wine bar. Just a few seconds after sitting, someone was at our table with waters and the menu. Talk about fast and efficient service. When our actual server arrived, she was super friendly and hospitable. She made it feel like we were regulars and I loved that. And the cocktails? Superb. Absolutely incredible, every single one of them. And that coconut lime rickey? I understand why people rave about it. Perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. I also want to point out how quick the cocktails came out to us. I was so surprised we didn't have to wait long at all, even though this place was pretty full and they were pretty busy at the bar.

Lovely spot in Bozeman!!! This spot is more pricey than most of the other places we stopped in Bozeman. Loved the old fashioneds though. The crab Rangoons were $19 and there was 4 of them--they were delicious though!!! After a long day of hiking in Yellowstone, getting engaged and driving back to our hotel here, we stopped for a celebratory drink. Our server noticed we were giggling over the ring and asked if we just got engaged and we said yes! And she was pretty distant afterwards. It was just interesting. Otherwise, a great experience and recommend stopping by!

We visited for Happy Hour and I ordered the Ploughman's platter. It was served with 3 types of cured meat, 3 types of cheese, cornichons, whole grain mustard, jam and warm bread. It was delicious. The employees working behind the bar were very helpful and friendly. The bar drinks were also good. Would love to give this place another try.

We were able to secure a table outside and it was divine! We placed an order for the meat and cheese platter and 2 flank steak salads- with beets, pickled onions, candied walnuts, radicchio and a nice creamy dressing. The cheese on the platter was great. I wish there was an option to choose the cheese as I could have done without the blue cheese. However the meats were great and it's served with warmed bread. The salads were amazing, my only concern is that they serve a half a head of butter lettuce with the stalk attached. It's kinda inedible but overall the taste of the salad was great.

We stopped by for a mini dinner consisting of a spread of appetizers. We had no reservations for a Sunday night but we were able to sit down right away at the bar. The restaurant/bar has a great atmosphere - the bartender mentioned the wall behind the bar was the original I believe and it had all the local ranches logo on it - so cool! We ordered the Bison Flank Steak Salad, Fried Chicken Skewers, and Crispy Pork Belly. The Bison Flank was cooked a perfect medium and the greens were fresh and crispy while the ricotta was creamy. Fried Chicken Skewers were yummy, they didn't have a huge layer of breading on the outside which was nice. I have been enjoying seeing pork belly on more restaurants lately, this pork belly was a great mix of savory and sweet! I would recommend giving Plonk a shot, they have a decent assortment of liquor and the menu is fresh/uses local products!

A fun little wine bar right on Main Street! I love popping in for a glass of wine or a delicious bite to eat.

Great food Great…read morevibes Good service This place can be girls night out, dude meet up, family gatherings or date night. The wait is not that long.. we came here as walk in's 2x on our 1week stay that started in Bozeman, went down to Yellowstone, then to Idaho for UTV riding and then to Jackson Hole WY to go see the Teton National Park. It was nice to walk around the local shops while we waited and then afterwards to work off those delicious carbs. Thin crust pizzas clean, fresh, not heavy and seasonal ingredients. The crust is soooo good. Chewy and some char. We had: Montana Burger Royale My teen son dreams about this. Yes its 27.00 and he said its the BEST burger he's ever had. I would have to agree (and we live in Austin TX where there's great cow) -the burger meat melted in your mouth -the egg dripping as you break the yolk was perfection. The bacon so juicy, the brioche bun (that was the winning touch) We shared: Hot Honey Pizza- so good 9/10 Spicy Burrata- also great. 8/10 Mac n cheese- that was the only miss. Way under seasoned and the white sauce seemed to get sucked up by the pasta so the dish was super dry. 3/10 Frites and Fondue- fries were great. Thick cut with finely shaved pecorino. Could have used a heaping more of the shaved cheese. -the fondue was ok, seemed still under seasoned or just not creamy enough? I'd swap that for some roasted garlic with the truffle oil. 6/10 Local brews and ciders were great! 9/10 Huckleberry Cheesecake 9/10 save room for this bad boy. We split it between 4 people. Not too sweet. Tart and delightful! The world cup was on the TV so it was a hopping place even as it rained during a late June evening. Parking garage nearby is free for 2hrs so thats cool! Come DT BZN and support local!

I wanted to take the chairs home with me. The whole place reminded me of downtown San Luis Obispo, CA. The Carne Frite was AMAZING. It's basically a piece of steak served with fries, but the steak was so flavorful I completely forgot about the fries. As a pizza connoisseur and meat lover, I also had to try the Carne Pizza. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, but definitely wasn't the worst either. The Montana Burger was really good, and the bacon was amazing. My only personal complaint: they serve Pepsi products and I'm a Coke girl through and through. Overall, great atmosphere, great food, and absolutely worth the wait. Highly recommend checking it out

We dipped the seafood from our entrees into the leftover broth for the acidity and flavor! Stuffed Portabello Mushroom - 10/10 there were so many ingredients in this dish it was almost comical but it all worked together very well! Portobello mushroom stuffed with ricotta(?), blue cheese, lump crab meat, topped with chives and lemon zest, with pesto and balsamic vinegar sauces LOL. So much going on but very good. Bacon was a bit salty in this ensemble though. Fettuccine a la Verona - 10/10 light and fettuccine is in a fresh seafood broth. Plump springy prawns with burrata and has a good ratio of vegetables (artichoke, spinach, lions mane mushroom) Wild Alaskan Salmon Penne - 9/10 very indulgent with bacon, pesto, caramelized onions and lions mane mushroom under melted cheese. Salmon was fresh but felt under-seasoned on its own. I loved the mushrooms but I didn't love the dry/hard melted cheese on top. Chicken Parmigiana - 8/10 tomato sauce is very fragrant. A bit bland otherwise. All entrees came with a soft crumbly bread that I only enjoyed with the mussels broth. Lovely server and restaurant! Charming location. Big portions, we took leftovers.

To start, we had the daily ceviche, which was a salmon ceviche with a bright citrus marinade, garnished with oranges and served alongside crispy wonton crackers. Served with grilled bread, it was the kind of dish you keep dipping back into because it's just that good. For our main dish, we shared the Brown Butter Scallops -- prosecco salt dusted scallops served with arugula pesto, herb mushrooms, and bacon & butternut squash arancini. The scallops themselves were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, but the real standout on the plate was the arancini. Crispy on the outside with a rich, savory filling of bacon and butternut squash, it paired beautifully with the rest of the dish and completely stole the show. The entire meal was beautifully plated and thoughtfully prepared. The only small note is that the restaurant can get a bit loud when it's full, which can make conversation with your dinner companion slightly harder. That said, the lively atmosphere shouldn't stop you from enjoying a meal here. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience. If you go, do not skip the bacon and butternut squash arancini--it was the absolute star of the dish and truly sensational.

The bread arrived stale, the wine selection was surprisingly limited and the wines we tried were of poor quality. I ordered a steak that was served cold--almost as if it had barely been heated. It was completely lacking in flavor and required an excessive amount of salt just to make it edible. To their credit, they offered to remake it, but the second steak was still severely undercooked for what I had requested and had to be sent back again. My husband's dish was equally disappointing and lacked any real flavor. Having lived in France, he commented that this was the worst French dining experience he has ever had. What made the evening even more frustrating was that we had recommended this restaurant to friends and were genuinely embarrassed by the experience. Based on the food quality, service execution, and overall dining experience, we cannot understand how this restaurant has earned such glowing reviews. They talk too much and don't serve food in a timely manner. To wait an hour and a half is ridiculous. In general, the food preparation is ok. Fresh, but ok. My suggestion would be to dress up the presentation more than just putting it on the plate - it's an art that makes good Sushi special, and this doesn't do it for me! While it's decent, for Montana, it's not west coast Sushi and service staff needs an overhaul. Less gossip, better staff service with attention to the customers order, more timely service, more accurate orders.
