Higgins Sewer & Drain Cleaning was the ONLY company that was will to come in an look at the issue and fix the problem. The big guys either didn't want to mess with the problem or immediately pointed the finger at the wastewater company and said that I'd probably have to dig up my sewer line since my property was older. The technician came out and cleaned out 4 large bunches of tree roots and the water immediately started draining. They came back a couple of days later to camera my sewer stack and sewer line and delivered great news that I had no other issues. I was also extremely pleased with the reasonable price they charged for their services. I will definitely use this business again when needed and for preventive measures.

There is a $100 fee for them to come out regardless this is waved if you hire them. They described it as just needing to tighten a pipe but said that because all the pipes were on the lose side this may cause issues down stream. Which was only 3-4 connections. The work was suppose to take 2 hours and actually took 1 but they told me the slot for my job was 3 hours so I had to pay for the full slot. They removed a connection my husband specifically asked them not to. And I am embarrassed that we paid it, but they charged me over $800. People should just be aware.

They determined that my main line could not be cleaned and had to be replaced due to the tree roots that had overtaken the line. I was told that to replace my line they would have to dig up my yard and it would cost just over $15,000. I contacted a couple of other companies to get second opinions on the work that was needed and compare pricing. The other companies did confirm that my main line needed to be replaced and also said they would have to dig up the yard to replace the old line and they gave bids of 16 and 20 thousand. Before I pulled the trigger, I wanted one more bid. I reached out to Inception Plumbing and was glad I did. When they came out, they tried to clear the line but determined that my line needed to be replaced, but unlike the previous companies they explained to me that they offered pipe replacement using a process called pipe bursting. It not only saved me thousands of dollars, but they were able to complete the job in 1 day.

They sent out Chris, who is a laid back, smart guy who always does the job right. He walked me through my options, assessed the damage and gave me ideas, helped me discover where my outside drains are, and then we set up an appointment with Andrew, who came out and cleared a couple of drains that were clogged in my front yard. The price was much less than I had feared. The Inception employees are always pro-- the front end is friendly and helpful, the workers on time, they know what to do and do it right, and they are respectful of people's homes-- they wear booties inside and clean up any mess they make. You can maybe find cheaper service, but you can't find better service. In the long run, they have saved me a lot of money by being honest and thorough, having modern equipment and hiring the best of the best and paying them fairly. And I love that they are local.
