I want to make sure this gets posted so others don't have the unfortunate experience that I had with Concierge Aesthetics in Geneva, IL. I saw Lynn for "Coolsculpting" in my chin area. This was to be done throughout 2 treatments. Treatment 1 was relatively uneventful and performed by Lynn. The device fell off a few times most likely due to inadequate adhesion to the surface of my skin. There were also a few thermal events that can occur when the machine detects a temperature change on the skin. Lynn said to come back in a few days to retreat to this area. Little did I know that cool-sculpting should only be performed on the same area no more than once every 30 days, not 2 times in 5 days. Treatment 2 was the same except this time there was tremendous pain and pressure during the treatment and after. Lynn assured me as did the office manager that this pain was subside later on and go away. The pain did stop, but the damage was done. I was left with a permanent scar across the lower jawline that was in the shape of the device! When I showed the staff including the MD and the COO Laura they were dismissive, rude, and condescending. They tried to diminish the pain I was in and make me look foolish. I tried reaching out to management including the Chief Operating Officer, Laura but my emails and calls were ignored. I was refunded but want to warn everybody about my experience, It has been more than 6 months and the scar keeps getting darker with time. Please don't make the same mistake I did. I was severely injured and I want to prevent this from happening to someone else. Don't ever get cool-sculpting, and don't ever go to Concierge!
