Honestly, I really liked this place. It's super clean and well-kept, with a friendly ambiance and atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. They had sports on, which is always a win, and a solid selection of craft favorites to choose from. The vibe here is super relaxed and comfortable--definitely a great spot to kick back and enjoy a drink. I just popped in for a quick drink and didn't stay long, but I liked it a lot! Good vibes all around. Would definitely come back when I have more time to hang out.

Beer Culture is a unique and amazing beer bar in New York City. It ended up being the last place we visited that day, and for our entire trip and I felt it was a great cap to our time there. It sits slightly below street level, so it feels you're descending into a sort of basement with low ceilings - the kind of place I grew up first drinking beer with close friends. The place was busy, but the vibe of the customers was that everyone here was a beer lover and many were enjoying and thinking about their beer rather than just downing a bunch of swill. The bartender was super friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked up - (sorry I didn't get his name) thank you to the bartender for doing a sticker swap with me and putting mine right up on the wall. There were seats along the bar, but most people were just standing in groups which made it feel like a party. There were other rooms toward the back and restrooms that were kept clean. They don't do tasters nor flights, which is what I would expect from this type of place. It made me choose carefully, so I went with a summer ale from Schnitt Brewing in Tel Aviv, Israel, and capped off the whole trip with a Double Citra DIPA from Hill Farmstead Brewing, one of the most coveted breweries in the country. Along the right wall were old fridges filled with amazing bottles and cans as well. People were drinking them in the bar, but everything was also available to go. Prices on everything was worthwhile for being in NYC and with great quality/rarity. If you're in NYC and a big beer fan, this is one of those places you can let your beer nerd flag fly. It's a must-visit bar, cheers!

The ambiance is great. The beer selection is good. It was a good little hole in the wall spot for a late night beer.

What a chill somewhat small bar. I am sure I have passed it a million times especially when going to see a show on broadway. I was here for a brewery event. They have tables in the front and a small (very small) game room area in back. The bartender was super chill and nice to us. I had a grilled cheese here along with a beer. The sandwich was very filling and cheesy ( those are the best when very cheesy, am I right?!) I would Definitely recommend this place to tourists and locals as well.

Beer Culture has been added to my list of places I must visit every time I am in the city. It's an easy walk from Midtown and settled off from the busier streets, making it great to stop in after a day of exploring. I stopped in on a Wednesday after a long day of work and picked a Trillium can to drink and ordered dinner to-go. Friendly and quick service. Large selection of draft and package beers, many of which are able to be purchased to-go. I ordered a double smash burger and fries -- both were excellent, and I would 100% order again. I'll definitely return and stay for a few beers next time.

Very homie beer bar with over 12 beers on tap and even more canned beer in a fridge to either take home or drink right at the bar. Bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly in helping us decide the perfect beer for this warm day. We both got sours, Hudson Valley Peach Sour was by far my favorite beer on this trip. And my GF for the Urban Peaches Nitro Sour. New to nitro beers but it was tasty. Bar had a mellow and chill vibe playing music from the 70s. Dim lighting with brick walls and an underground vibe. Very chill. Sit at the bar and talk story!

Very cool, relaxed, and groovy atmosphere for lovers of microbrews which seems to be a rarity these days in NYC. Great old building with lovely ambiance, funky music and a cold case for you to buy specialty beers on the go! A great place to stop in for a break from whatever you're doing and I'm here for another week and will call this place h

Stopped for a drink at Beer Culture on Saturday evening. A calm oasis in the midst of the Midtown Manhattan chaos with cold beer and good snacks. Quality: A very solid beer bar with an impressive draft list and plenty of other options in their fridges. I enjoyed a Fiddlehead Mastermind IPA, a strong and juicy beer off draft. I did find the fridges a bit difficult to navigate, more signs and labels could help. They have a surprisingly full food list, we ended up getting some excellent Fried Cheese Curds, but you could have a full meal here. Quantity: Standard pours and lots of snacks to share. Value: $6-$9 for Draft Beer Pours. $11 for Fried Cheese Curds. Ambiance: Beer Culture is a basement beer bar located in Hell's Kitchen. They have a single table outside, but it looked like a strange place to sit. Inside there is a long bar with the majority of seating as well as some tables and high-tops around it. A few televisions hung behind the bar and they had some bar games towards the back. While it is a dive in decor, they offer excellent craft beer both on tap and in their multiple fridges. Crowd: A decent size crowd, no issues finding a stool, but lively. Service: Two efficient and friendly guys behind the counter. Parking: Tough area to find any parking, expensive garages and lots.

Our favorite beer place in NYC. Even though it's close to Time Square, it's still a very chill beer bar to go to when you want to get away from the Time Square crowds. Beers are good and so are the food. They have chili cheese tots! Their chili is spicy but oh so very tasty!

Great beers and socializing with locals. Bartenders won't steer you wrong and you just might find a new drinking partner. A true gem!

He was leering at me and making inappropriate comments that made me nauseous. Guy was old enough to be my Dad. Pretty sure he was sneaking pics of me too with his phone. I was waiting for my friend to arrive before going to see a show and ordered a neat scotch and an Allagash White when I sat down. He gives me a look and tells me I "drink like a man". Then made other comments questioning my sexuality. Total misogynistic predator creep. I didn't finish the scotch because I know what Macallan tastes like and that crap he poured me was like Costco booze. Then I worried whether or not he put something fishy in my glass. I couldn't settle the tab and get out of there fast enough. Our plan was to eat there when my friend finally arrived, but f that. Ended up meeting her at the pizza place a few blocks away. Thinking of this dude literally makes my skin crawl. I'm not one to write reviews often, but he shouldn't get away with that behavior. Aren't bars supposed to exude good vibes and provide hospitality? My experience here was not only traumatic, but a total waste of money too.

I totally understand that as a business it makes more sense to take the larger group. However no reason for you management staff to be completely rude about especially on such short notice. I called to find out a solution as the message said we could show up a half hour later than our original reservations and was transfered to a manager. Who ever the manager was on 5/17/26 at about 8 pm said ya they got the place from 2 pm good luck . I tried to ask if we could show up a halfhour later than planed as the voicemail indicated but he blew it off and was being very rude about the whole situation so if figured I do not want to give this company anymore money moving forward so I found another restrauant. Shame is now I wont visit the one in Texas where I live either.
