"Deep in the Heart of the Meatpacking District"! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsuhovkRLbA Howdy! You can find the country bumpkin watering hole named, "the Waylon". If you are into affordable bar food, country tunes and fresh cold beer - this is your place. And if you are a Packers fan, that is the cherry on top for some (my roomie). My boyfriend and his friends have dude's night here. And now it's become my own little slice of country goodness. I enjoy all the grub and I'm picky. I love the guac and the super crunchy chips. Huge fan of the veggie burger option. And I have a Lonestar beer when I'm in the mood, a fancy IPA other nights and a glass of chilled rose if that's what I fancy. The music is such a fun addition to the mood. The band is talented and will indulge us with pop covers in their style even. Our buddy knows all the songs and he sings them all. I even recommend this spot if you're headed to Terminal 5 for a relaxing pre function vibe before standing at a show for hours. Highly recommend for country and non country lovers! Added bonus is a back patio. They also take reservations for slightly larger groups. Tip your bartender y'all!

Food was divine! We watched the NBA finals here and it didn't disappoint. So fun. Perfectly loud too. The bartenders were fine - nothing extraordinary, but maybe we aren't extraordinary ourselves! The Buffalo chicken sandwich is wow. So good. With blue cheese. Yum. The bun is great. Chicken is perfectly cooked. Buffalo is tangy. The fries are money. The cheese curds are an excellent appetizer. We sat at the bar. My total came to $27. I wish they would've asked if I wanted more water more often. Great place.

One of the only country-western bars in Hell's Kitchen NYC. Live music starts at 9pm on Saturday and the band was good! Be warned, it's a Green Bay Packers bar, so if that's not your scene, then you'll want to find a different venue for your NFL games. Tried the buffalo fried chicken sandwich and it was delicious! Large juicy chicken breast perfectly fried, served along side blue cheese dressing and fries (extra charge).

Waylon Cobb Salad...$12 for a tiny side salad?! Compare to dressing cup...never again

Ugh I'm never ordering from here again! I ordered the Waylon Cobb salad with cotija ranch dressing. It was $12 along with tax, delivery, tip, and caviars fees $16. What I received was a tiny little side salad Cobb style. This was worth about $5. Minimal bacon. Guac not fresh. Small amount of chicken. Small amount of pico. Was there a hard boiled egg? Maybe a piece or two? But wow. Worst Cobb salad I've ever had. I will never order from here again. Huge waste of money. You'll spend a lot and never be full coming here. I've had the Cobb salads at American Retro and they are THE BEST!!! Same price and triple the size and toppings. I'll stick with them. :)

Texas theme (straight) bar in Hell's Kitchen. Frito pie rocks. Prices are good for happy hour. Big outdoor patio (covered I think) and country music normally on weekends.

The best Packers bar they have classic Wisconsin foods and drinks, including cheese curds, brats, and bloody Mary's. I highly recommend doing a shotski after a Packers win! The staff was friendly and fun, and the bar is cozy and reminds me of a piece of home. There's outdoor seating as well

Cool Midwest-meets-the-South vibe. We went on a quiet weeknight. Burgers were incredible and the old fashioneds went down way too easily!

We had awesome burgers, and the live music added to the festive atmosphere. We had a great time. The bar tenders were friendly, too.

Are they doing happy hour specials?

Did they restart live music yet?

Is trivia every Wednesday?

Would this place be a good spot to dance to some courntry or rock music?

Hi Kelsey! The Waylon is great place to dance to mainly country music and a handful of rock n roll albums (Tom Petty, Springsteen, Lynrd Skynrd) Heck, you can dance on the tables if you want!

On top of that, we were surprised to discover that it's also a country music bar with a stacked country jukebox!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with champagne, which immediately set the tone for a special evening. Our server, Daniel, was beyond amazing. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our anniversary meaningful. It never felt forced just thoughtful, polished hospitality. The team went above and beyond when we brought our wedding cake (which had been frozen for a year). Not only did they accommodate it without hesitation, they helped decorate and present it beautifully you would have thought it had been baked that same day. It was such a touching moment for us, and they handled it with care and enthusiasm. As for the food: incredible. The steak tartare was perfectly balanced and beautifully prepared. The tuna was fresh and vibrant. And the Beef Wellington... honestly one of the best I've had in New York City. Perfectly cooked, rich, elegant, and absolutely worthy of a celebration dinner. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: romantic, warm, refined but relaxed. It felt special without being stiff. If you're looking for a place to celebrate something meaningful, this is it. We will absolutely return.

Server was a sweetheart, really relaxed and didn't seem stressed or overworked, she was able to talk and not sprint around the restaurant. Food was delicious, didn't LOVE the broccoli-avocado appetizer, it felt bland but it was still a nice refreshing starter. Ordered the truffle gnocchi, AMAZING! So cheesy but not overwhelming. My mom ordered the beet salad. Not usually a fan of beets but I really loved the sauce (balsamic) and it was actually very good. I ordered all 3 mocktails and didn't have a complaint about any. Not overly sweet but not "dirty". Bathrooms are down a few hallways, not too hard to find tho. Overall, loved it. Definitely felt more like a bar than a restaurant.

From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the décor and ambiance. Every corner has been thoughtfully designed with incredible attention to detail, creating one of the most unique and immersive bar experiences I've ever had. The level of intention behind the design is truly second to none. The cocktails were outstanding-creative, beautifully balanced, and expertly crafted. Every drink felt purposeful and showcased real talent behind the bar. Despite the venue being absolutely packed, the service remained warm, personal, and genuinely attentive. Bartender Juan was exceptional, and manager Andrii led by example with true hospitality. I initially had a seat that wasn't ideal, and without me saying a single word, they noticed. As soon as a better seat became available, they proactively offered to move me. That simple gesture spoke volumes about their awareness and commitment to guest experience. It's easy to deliver great service when a room is half empty. It's much harder when every seat is full, and that's exactly when this team shined the brightest. Bravo to the entire Oscar Wilde Bar team, especially Juan and Andrii. Experiences like this remind me why genuine hospitality is an art. I can't wait to return.

Unfortunately, our server only heard that 5 of us wanted afternoon tea, and one of the tiers of food was smaller than the others. Our server didn't check up on us, and seemed to want us to leave quickly after dropping off the check. We would have been happy to pay the $65 each for afternoon tea, but it wasn't worth it and frankly, I was agitated by the whole ordeal by the time I left. We were also disappointed by the food items (as they were lacking) and nothing about this was like other experiences we had with other afternoon teas. I can't in good faith recommend this place, nor do I see myself coming back after the atrocious service we experienced.
